Whos Selling for the New NEXUS 10

Who will be selling up for the new Nexus 10? or New Nexus 7?
I will be selling mine next week on EBay preparing to buy either the new N10 or N7.
What will you be doing?
N
Neither, my N10 does everything I need it to. I don't ha e any random reboots, I get 10 hours of screen time. Front facing speakers just out the icing on the cake.

No thanks. I don't want QC issues and having to send the thing back to Google.
I've been stung once before with the N7. Don't want to go through that crap again.

I am planning on it because ive been waiting 2 months since my last phone broke go get it. It's also a lit cheaper (hopefully) then competition with similar specs and should have newest android version first. Badically.all the advantages of a nexus

I've got my HTC One and I cannot give up the aluminum body and front speakers. Unless the N5 really knocks my socks off I'll be sticking with a GPE ROM on the One

Not really sure, my One S is still actually working perfectly. Will have to see what it costs once it gets to Norway.
All depends on how good the camera is. Pretty happy with my S3, so it would have to be significantly better than that.

Not upgrading.. N4 is still fine.. N5 is a marginal upgrade at best.. Skipping a generation is always best unless you're a gamer or benchmark junky.
Selling my GS4 and picking one up. I'll miss having a external memory card and battery, but pure google without rooting is calling me.

Looking for a new tablet...

I've been looking in to buying myself a tablet, but I want one that's fast and smooth running. Ipad is great because of how smooth it runs and transisittions between pages, but I want something that my S4 can interact with. Any suggestions? I'd like to root and flash ROMs on whatever tablet I end up with so obviously ipad and surface are out. I don't know much about any of the others out there so any help would be fantastic!

One of the new Nexus 7's possibly? It's pretty much universally agreed that it's the best if not one of the best Android tablets on the market right now. Also, it's super easy to unlock the bootloader since it's a Nexus device and the development community around it is huge.

Agreed, I had the first generation Nexus 7 and absolutly loved it! Im hoping to get the 2nd gen somewhat soon. And they are very cheap compared to iJunk tablets
I thought the Nexus devices were phones.... Am I just that dumb? Lol... Can these tablets be purchased at a best buy or only online?

There are actually 2 Nexus tablets on the market right now... the Nexus 7 and the Nexus 10. The 2013 Nexus 7 is an excellent tablet you can buy directly from the Play Store or other places online. The Nexus 10 is also worth considering if you want a bigger tablet, and it also has the BEST speakers of any tablet on the market. Personally, I'm waiting for them to come out with the "updated" Nexus 10 like they did with the Nexus 7. Either way, as far as Android tablets go, they are both winners. The only other tablet I would recommend taking a look at is the new Samsung Note 10.1 - it has a gorgeous display and all of the productivity power of the Note software and stylus. It's just a little too pricey in my book though.

As far as performance goes, what would you guys suggest? I don't want something that seems laggy or gets bogged down by putting too much stuff on it.

I would get the Nexus 7 2013 model. Can't go wrong with that one especially for the price!

Go on youtube and watch pocketnow's videos on tablets. They have the best reviews/comparisons and will help you figure this out fast.
Can't go wrong with a nexus 7 2013. I own one and it really is butter smooth and definitely worth the money. It's also my first tablet. Great investment!

Yeah I think a bunch of these devices had wifi issues. Pop on over to the Nexus 7 (2013) forum on XDA for details. The 7's are great and inexpensive but ASUS isn't exactly known for their QC. Good luck!

If you read the OP he wanted a tablet that would work well with his S4 and wanted some suggestions. I don't see any problem with that being posted here.

I'll be getting one!

Hey guys. I noticed not a lot of activity in the forums for this phone but I will be buying one next month! I've always wanted the thinnest phone in the world ( going back a few years it was the huawei ascend p6 which I never managed to get )
But this looks good as a stylish phone I'm a little gutted to see no lollipop or any ROMs for that matter but I'm sure they'll turn it unfortunately
How's everyone getting on with theirs ?

Awesome, I was very close to buying one but the way 3.5mm jack and charger dilemma was putting me off, part of me wishes I bought it because it looks beautiful and I actually like color os, plus you'll get lollipop soon!
How soon???? and buy it on Amazon its dirt cheap at the minute

Actually cheaper on the Oppo site then it is on Amazon.

Any news already where to get this lovely phone in our country?
Hello, planning to get mine purchased from the US, will I encounter any problem whatsoever? AFAIK it's unlocked when it's purchased right?

Check the radio bands. The radio bands that our telcos are using might not be supported by the US version of the hardware. That's was the case with Nexus 5. There are usually two variants. US & International model. Personally I'd go with the international model just to be sure.
