To flash firmware Gear Fit 2 - Samsung Gear Fit

Hi dear friends,
I 'm looking for the firmware of Gear Fit 2 because I'd like to flash that with Net Odin, can you help me please?
Thanks to all

Sorry bud, pretty sure Samsung haven't released it yet. I've hunted high and low with no success.

Searching for firmware for Samsung Gear Fit 2 (sm-r360)
Maybe some updates on the topic? Have anyone succeeded in searching for firmware for sm-r360? I am searching for service firmware files too. Can find only on strange websites with pre-paid download but not sure those files are real firmware.
dlgsm.com/index.php?dir=/FLASH-FILES/Samsung-Flashfiles/Samsung_Official_firmwares_(4_Files)/Model_R/R360_(SM-R360)/R360XXU1BPL1 - Example download link on dlgsm.com
easy-firmware.com/index.php?a=browse&b=category&id=18303 - Example download link 2 on easy-firmware.com
Or anyone can help with downloading it?

found firmware
Yes, I've found it: vnrom(dot)net/2017/01/huong-dan-rom-xoa-demo-retail-mode-cho-samsung-gear-fit-2-sm-r360/

Hi!
How can I flash it by Odin?

How can I connect Fit2 to Odin? I am trying wireless with no success

I was able to flash the Gear Fit 2 with R360XXU1APE4 using Odin in hopes of getting rid of the Activation lock. No success. Is there any way to get rid of the Activation lock or should I just cut my losses and toss it in the trash?

Hi, where did you find the odin files for the Gear Fit 2 that you used? Did you have to pay?

where can I download the firmware? can someone put it on Google drive?

My question is, how many have tried it, since this software isnt found on sammobile, im wondering if its official and works ok.

My friend, unfortunately, by the link above, do not download firmware, only NetOdin. And on the site sammobile Sm-r360 there is nothing (

There are two sets of links above:
1 is with the questionable sites trying to charge you money, and the 2nd is for flashing your Fit 2 into retail demo mode which will make it useless as an actual device.
Therefore the above links are useless. I was asking him since he implied he had successfully flashed so I wanted to know where he got his files from.
Hopefully somebody is able to find something, seems odd that there is 0 in the public domain for the Fit 2 still.

How do you know that the rom posted above is retail mode?
I didn't know what retail mode was when I bought one from fleabay and the f------g a--hole wouldn't take it back (even though his listing said returns accepted. Ebay and paypal both sided with him).
Now I'm stuck with a virtually brand new Fit2.....in retail mode.
I had to disable adblock to download the files, but it didn't charge me for them. You just have to close the popups and stick with the captcha verifications.

Hi Guys! This is the information I have found so far regarding gear fit 2 flashing. YouTube video showing how to flash gear fit 2 by Wifi using Odin Net , the firmware "retail" and OdinNet. Hope it helps.

In theory more possible... at the moment I have only dump partition.pit (PIT) from device:

But should also work with:
Code:

All Gear devices which can be updated with netOdin.

not been tested by myself, so use at your own risk,,,,, https://taflish.com/EN/Samsung/Download_Combination.php?Cid=291

Excuse my ignorance, but do the combination roms get flash in Odin in a similar way to the three separate ones? If so, what slot do you use?
My GF2 is stuck in boot loop, I can get into boot menu, but only the two download options seem to work, recovery and factory command just go back into boot loop, so a flash seems to be the only thing for it.
Whilst using Odin for phones I've never used it for tizen things - I'm assuming it is much the same.

Looking for stock rom ZSKI3

I'm looking to download stock rom XXKI3. I need to return my I900 to the store and want to restore the firmware I had when I bought the phone. I am currently using MIUI v4 and don't want any hassle from the staff.
I am living in China and have only had the phone for 2 days. I noticed that the screen has screen burn/ ghosting, It's not very obvious, but after loading a pure blue image I can make out some of the display, and it looks like either a Chinese/ Korean keypad. I would assume then that the phone I got has been used before me, either by someone, or on display, which I am obviously not happy about.
I don't want to give them any reason to not give me a replacement phone.
All the links online I can find are dead, if anyone has it or knows where I can get it, I would much appreciate the help.
I have the files for Odin. Let me upload them and I'll post you a link!

Thanks for all the replies! Oh man do I feel dumb, I posted the wrong code, it's actually ZSKI3 I need.
XXKI3 doesn't have the Chinese language, which they will no doubt try to switch the phone to when I take it in.
I can't find ZSKI3 on sammobile or anywhere on google. The link on the firmwares page on this site is dead too.
Any ideas?

many thanks! i need that rom too
i upgraded my phone to 4.0.3 accidentially (kies prompted me to upgrade when i connect my phone to the PC, and i clicked the button to confirm the action wrongly)
since then, my phone sucks, hangs and crashed with some apps, even after i reset to the factory setting (cleared all the data!!!!)
now, my phone is likely to hang up, while i installed apk files (but it is ok to install app directly from google play) (the apk files are ok in the previous ver of andriod and should be the same as the one if i download them from google play directly)
so i decided to revert back to 2.3.5..................and would not upgrade the firmware again..................
Trying to flash to stock HK firmware since encountering a boot loop
I wasn't sure if I was in the right thread so I originally posted on here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31073452#post31073452
Hope everyone doesn't mind me posting some questions on this thread too.
I am trying to figure out which official stock firmware for Hong Kong I should use (ZSKF1, ZSKF4, ZSKG2, ZSKI3) since I can no longer access settings on my phone due to the boot loop error. I am basically guessing since I cannot remember the exact kernel version or any other info. I am trying my best to make more educated guesses. I know I got my phone from Hong Kong in Nov 2011.
First I am trying to follow the instructions on this thread for the boot loop error. It requires me to find the stock rom I want to flash to. So I am working on finding the correct stock rom.
[READ THIS] Got a Boot Loop? Don't post a New Thread!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1108499
I was getting lost in the list of them on here. But I narrowed it the the 4 I picked out with code ZS for China, Hong Kong.

For booshman:
The file you gave on this thread, it is for ZSKI3 but how do I know if it is right for my case? Will it restore to GT-i9100 Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread for Hong Kong stock rom? I had no custom roms and was running from the stock all the way through and I still encountered the boot loop error.
I already tried going on samfirmware but they only had Android ver 4 for Hong Kong. I want to restore my phone to exactly what I had before which is Gingerbread and start anew from there.
If anyone can give me some insights, that will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you all!!
I figured it all out! I got out of boot loop! No need for response. Sorry for spamming everyone...

S3 GT-I9308 rom/root inquisitions

sup everybody I just got my first ever droid today and much to my delight its the international version of the Samsung Galaxy SIII.
now heres the issue. its the GT-9308 version...so my question is :
if I root my phone is there anyway to change the rom[??] from this chinese mobile one [supposedly unlocked] that is lacking google play and is still partially in mandarin [which ya boy can't even slightly comprehend] to the GT-i9300 one?
the attachment is a screenshot of the about device section.
I know this is probably impossible but if it is possible I'm not screwed and there is still hope lol. a preemptive thanks to anyone who can shed some light

ahhh thank you i searched for a similar thread but i guess it didnt show up cuz it says asian in the title instead of china
not trying to bump that other thread but the only thing that really tells me is that I'm probably SOL.
so my NEW question is. any possible way I could go about implementing the modem driver from the GT-i9308 into the GT-i9300 rom so I get the google play and full english capabilities without the bloatware in addition to the phone still working?
I'll take that as a no then?

You can root your phone just do not change the modem otherwise your phone will not work. There are several chinese forums (use chrome to translate) that have very easy instructions for rooting which will allow google play to be installed.
Same boat
I am in China and found myself in the same boat..... i hosed my system after mucking about with it ... first android phone ... i am presently putting together all the links and things i did to get mine de china mobilized and google working .. rooted and a custom ROM or two that work... i have a newer hardware version then most people ... most have hardware version 5.0 ... i have 6.0 .... first attempt at rooting was fine... after that i added a rom... backed up and used the same modem firmware .... phone would not get past the start up screen... but thank god i could still put into recovery mode and get back to the firmware screen.. so i knew it could be saved... so i went through the Chinese forums ... no one had the latest hardware version ... but a release of the "official samsung rom" was the reason my phone was the way it was .... so i found another "Official" rom .... as it turned out it put my phone back into a working order ... the other thing is i am using OSX .... i had to muck about with different version of various pieces of software to get it all done... like i said i am throwing together all the links and everything i did to get mine going ... many of these links will require some authentication to Chinese sites .. weibo qq etc ...
I will try to re share the software i have downloaded ..but i am not maintaining them so not sure how good an idea this is...but the links will help the other "whites" as the chinese describe us foreigners in their forums "so easy a white can do it" after translation....
I just wanted to thank those on XDA with their posts ..... they did help, with information that got me going in the right direction.... this is my first Android since a Telus Fascinate .. which i gave to one of my programers/friends on my architecture team to root... other then that a iphone user ... hard to really brick one of these phones if you do the common sense back ups and such...
Once again thank you... i will have a full break down of my adventure in a day or two.... back to my work.
Cheers
some instructions feel free to contact me i will try and help
I have a i9308 and any of the newer release of the "official firmware' messed up my start up and made it loop...
I installed this using Heimdall skipped the bootloader as it seems to fail in both odin and Heimdall on hardware build 6.00
I found the newest official rom bbs dot anzhi dot com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=6344702 ... sorry not enough posts to send out side links ... i under stand.
everything else worked fine.... after this and i was able to back and do the usual install of CWM ..... which failed using Heimdall ... again on the bootloader .... so using Odin it worked ... i used virtual box and Windows 7 ... with the latest Samsung drivers ....i had to create a specific interface for the Samsung in virtual box so the i9308 would mount with out conflict in windows .... i was then able to install CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4 ...
Once rooted i started looking for a way to install google play and all the google services.
i installed this ROM anzhi_karben_samsung_i9308_V1.0 which had the google drivers i needed and was not full of to much other crap and worked well in english ... i found this here bbs dot anzhi dot com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=6198323 i used my Wiebo account to do this and was then able to download.
I got the google pack ..... well one that worked and after i checked everything did not have any malicious scripts that i could find ... bbs dot anzhi dot com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=5401203 ... the zip file was gapps-ics-20120429-signed-4.0.4
i hope this helps some people Heimdall took a little after i figured out how to do this.... it was easy ... i have wiped it out a few times i nthe last week and tried different ROMs from the various Chinese boards ...some made very odd requests for SU access here and there ...i generally removed them after trying to find the offending script .... as i said so far the ones i am using have been pretty safe with little to no issues. I did go in and remove a lot of the preloaded China Mobile wares ...so far the phone is great ... i do fid the wifi signal sucks....
My first android i rooted myself ...see what happens after a drunk night in a taxi in Beijing and you lose your iPhone.... having fun.
S2 GT-I9308 Unlock
Hello
Someone gave me an I9308
I'm trying to use it with my French Sim Card. So i need to be able to unlock it.
I've been able to root and install custom firmware as described above.
I've tried to use GalaxySim Unlock application, but it says "Device not recognized"
I've tried to use the "trick" to unlock, but , the current firmware official version on the I9308 is 4.0.4, and with this version, "Network Unlock" is not working.
In order to try the trich with proper version :
I've tried to install 4.1.1 version for I9300, but it fails with modem
I've tried to install 4.1.1 version with modem.img from 4.0.4, it works but the phone is no more booting, it locks at "samsung" logo and vibrate one time pause one seconds, vibrates three times pause one seconds and again.
So two questions :
How to install a newer versions of android when no offcial version have yet been released ?
How to unlock the I9308 with 4.0.4 in it ?
Thanks.
It is the modem drivers that are the problem. China Mobile has not released a official upgrade yet. But I left instructions for rooting in my previous post.

old post late reply, i know but nvm that, anyway if anyone is still interested in this, here i have the right solution. recently i have been collecting some old Samsung phones, i managed to get hold of a Chinese 9308, as u know, all i9300 roms/twrp work on 9308, but can't detect SIM card/mobile network, however i found one version of the MIUI6 roms, so far so good, everything appear to work perfectly, has all languages, Google play services & framework most importantly, 3G works fine too. i will shortly provide links to the downloads.
Would you like please send the link for this MIUI ?

the problem is, i still have to upload them somewhere 1st, as one of the original links is no longer working and although the other one still is (there were two of them), but it was on baidu cloud, both, u need a baidu account to be able to dl stuff, i clearly remember i couldnt download them myself, and i wasnt able to create a baidu account either, but luckily i found someone who could & did download them for me and sent those files to me afterwards, so now we have to work out a way 4 me 2 send those files from my PC to other users out there.

May have the correct rom for 9500mini m-horse and others
Hi,
I have compiled all the software and roms needed to factory-flash and root my M-horse 9500mini.
I have included my "how to" notes in each directory.
I know this phone is sold under many badges from China and I believe yours is one of these.
There are two roms (*.Pac) included, one is Android 4.n (I use this,) and the other I believe is Android 2.n (denoted at end of file name by 4p and 2p).
I have only tested the Android 4.n rom.
Programs include : latest root-master, latest super-user, latest Research-download and Phone drivers for Win XP including USB to Serial drivers.
Download from the following links and use 7zip or other program to join the two files together.
Sorry about the size of files, the rom images are quite large.
www27.zippyshare.com/v/39152105/file.html
www49.zippyshare.com/v/74378565/file.html
It took a few evenings to search and learn how to get my phone working again (thanks google translate,) after stupidly deleting an important app so I hope this compilation helps someone else recover theirs.

P.S. I have just tested the links and found some foul adverts on zippyshare's site. I am sorry if this offends some one. I will find a better file-host site when I can.

Thanks for your reply. Your rom file is not compatible with my phone. I continuously searching for "m-horse 9500 mini" rom file. If I find it share with you on this board. Thanks for all.
Hello!
I'm new here. I had my first android device recently and I have no idea how to root. I would like to try the rom. The device is M-horse 9500 Mini 3.5" Android 4.1.1 SC6820 1.0GHz. I searched for some software for rooting but can't find one that supports this device.
What safe software can I use?
Thanks!

@nonentity1
thanks for your sharing. I managed to salvage my locked phone due to "too many attempt patterns" by flashing your pac file. Rooted the phone as well. Excellent sharing.
Just a small request, if you have any easy way to flash CWM, please share it with us.

Hi,
I have compiled all the software and roms needed to factory-flash and root my M-horse 9500mini.

Thank u so much magic.hand for the files. I got them from ur dropbox. But after flashing the file successfully the phone works but the screen is white. Though I can't see anything on the screen, I can tell that the phone is working which means the display is the only problem. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Please help me out, friends. It's hard to say about this as the spare part maybe rare.
Even though I "operate" my phones myself, but in order to fix any phone, you have to tear it apart and check if there is any cable loose broken.
By your statement, this can be your LCD malfunction. I tried to search around, but spare part seems to be difficult.
My only suggestion now is, dissemble your phone and check if there is any loose cable joint or something.

Hi,
Thanks for your response. But I think it has to do with the display settings for the rom file I have flashed. Before the phone got bricked, the display was working fine, except the phone was pattern locked and I tried to format it. Even though, the format was successful the phone started boot looping. It would just display the boot logo and restart. So now that I've flashed with the file you gave me, it boots fully and I can hear the start up tone and even the touch tones when I touch certain parts of the screen. But the screen remains white throughout. So I am thinking if there is a way to edit/ modify the display settings for the rom before flashing it. I have no idea about it though. But I hope someone here can help me out.

All the software you should need with "readme.txt" notes may be found by these links:
www27.zippyshare.com/v/39152105/file.html
www49.zippyshare.com/v/74378565/file.html
you will need to unzip the two files together (using 7zip or similar) to rebuild the original files for use.

It's not your phone, it's the ROM!

I think there's nothing wrong with your phone ... you just haven't found the correct ROM. It will work like 'out of the box' as soon as you reflash.
Modifying the display setting for the ROM? I think you have to start with exactly the right ROM ... unless someone else joins this thread, who has more knowledge!
I was able to get my M-HORSE 9500mini working again by searching the site, NeedROM. I never got the 'white screen' but only because I avoided flashing anything that wasn't (exactly right) for my model. But, I saw others who had the same problem you reported, for this same phone.
NeedROM provides detailed phone identification info, even down to photos of the labels under the battery. Don't use the ROM until you see that everything matches 100%.
Just the name of the phone isn't enough ... this phone comes in different builds, sharing the same name. You would be the only one who could make sure, with the phone in your hand, and matching it exactly with the details accompanying each ROM before downloading or flashing anything.
Good luck!

Yeap, agree with you.
You may need to get into your phone's "Factory Test" mode by pressing Vol UP + Power. From here you should be able to see more info about your previous ROM. Then you can start searching around.
It took me almost 1 month before I got into this thread, flashed the file and got my phone working. I am still looking for working recovery for the phone.

Hi, and thank you for your reply.
Sorry for being a NOOB, but when I click on those links, or copy / paste them, I get the following error message:
Fatal error: The file /home/easyfirmware/public_html/index.php cannot be decoded by this version of the ionCube Loader. If you are the administrator of this site then please install the latest version of the ionCube Loader. in Unknown on line 0
I tried downloading the ionCube .exe file, but have no idea how to set that up.
Hello again.
I managed to access the easyfirmware site, but unfortunately it only carries the firmware for the S7-701w which is not compatible with my S7-701wa device.
Thanks again for your help.

Well, I'm not OP, but I'm downloading it right now. Turns out this SKU of the mediapad was used for VISA sign up kiosks at Tim Hortons in Canada (My boss gave it to me since the program was discontinued), however being a sign up kiosk, mine has a locked down firmware which can only access a specific website, which has since been taken down. Also, because of it's locked down state, I can't enable adb debugging to root the device and install TWRP, etc.
I've been able to get into recovery and attempted to flash the 701s and 701w firmware variants like OP, needless to say those didn't work.
EDIT: It seems to be flashing! Thanks so much!
Same issue as you!!

i havent got the file anymore - i originally got it from the settings in the tablet,
settings - about tablets - system updates
it just downloaded the file via browser to downloads folder as i recall, and you copy it out before it detects the update file is there.
it downloads from ftp://mypolaroidtablet.com but i cant access that from my laptop without a username and password
i dont recall it asking when accessing from the tablet, which i cant do as its been dropped a couple of times and now the screen is cracked and the wifi doesnt work

Hey there, I just got one of these p791 Polaroid tablets for Christmas this year.
When I try to do the usual update method (Settings > About tablet > System update) it locks up and I have to force it to stop. So no auto-updates for me.
Currently stuck on KK 4.4.2
Is there anyone or anyway to get this ROM so I can manually install it, or anyone who's had this problem and fixed it so I can just update my tablet.

Hopefully you already got it sorted.. However, if not then you may want to know the tools usually used to fix this device are:
RKBatchTool,
AndroidTool,
Or PhoenixSuit (although I've not managed to get this one to work)
You can do a quick Google search on any of the tools mentioned above as well as find information on the installation process including the flashing of the P791 device.
I wasn't able to get mine turned on again but you may be able to. (Years ago I used these tools and got it working again, but can't seem to do it this time, maybe mines just had it. I think these are the only options for us though and I remember the annoying task of trying to figure it out as the specific device you're talking about, the one from Asda isn't hardly mentioned nor is it even supported by manufactures anymore so now I have an account on here I thought I'd just post this reply ?
