led flash light help - Sony Xperia XA Ultra Questions & Answers

Dear community,
i am a happy owner of a sony xperia xa ultra. It is known for a good camera. The smartphone has double flashlight.
One of them is front and one back. When i go to camera, i can only activate one led light. When i activate front camera, i can only use front light. So this means, i cannot turn both lights on at the same time. But i think this would be useful. Also, ther is no app which allows activate other light than back light. Is there a method to use double flashlight. Especially, is there also a method activating both lights when filmin or fotographine with either front or
back camera. Please help me.
My smartphone is very new and it is not rooted. Android version is 6.0
Thanks in Advance for every help

[Q] Camera not working after screen replacement

I just put a new screen in my s2, and now my camera isn't working anymore.
When I disconnect the front camera everything works as it should, so I guess this is the problem.
I don't need the front camera so I happily leave it disconnected, but unfortunately the light sensor and proximity sensor are connected though the same connection. And I do need the sensors.
So what are my best options? Is there a way to solve this through the software?

[Q] Taking pictures in dark

Hi,
i have little question, did not find anything that was helpful. So, taking pictures in dark conditions. Few days ago my friend bought Sony xperia go. and, when you press camera button in dark, it turns the LED flash on, make autofocus and take picture. In that way picture came out sharp and good.
On the other side, our evo does not turn flash on, but instead it "autofocus dark image" (practically blank screen) and of course image is usually all blurry.... Is there any solution for that?

This is your best bet. I do this too when I get that stupid message stating that it can't use flash because of low battery. GTFOH.
I just tried this out. It really works well. Thanks to all the posters.
I do that too especially when taking a video at night. Just go into quick settings and turn on the flashlight!
It works best at 3 AM when everything is hilarious and you try to make a movie better than paranormal activity. Which surprisingly isn't that hard to do.

Led light, flash, torch problem

I just got my Z2 and my led light very weak with any torch app. For flash photo much stronger but to compare any other phoe is still half the strenght. I compared to moto g, s3, s4, Nexus4-5.
Is this my phone fault or this is the led that Sony had put in this top phone?
Unfortunately I think it's normal. I have the same thing.
Yup I confirm it's dim. It might be coz of the small led size.
how they can miss a such a feature. I use my phone as a torch all the time. this Z2 led is a joke! Seriously my 5 years old dell streak had better led.
but the photo flash definitely stronger then any torch app so the hardware capable , maybe somebody can write an app to adjust the strength

Proximity sensor always on?

Hello friends
I wanted to ask something about proximity sensor in Mate 20 Pro. Are your sensors always on like my device.
There is a proximity sensor on front side of mate 20 pro. You cant see that sensors working with naked eye but you can see with another camera. When screen off and device is locked I cant see a difference on state of this sensor its not engaged. When I press power button and screen turned on I see red dot on top of screen (on notch) and it is always engaged while I using phone.
This is the question.
Isnt it consumpting battery and is it normal?
Everything is controlled from proximity sensor is turned of in settings.
What do you think about this is it a bug or is it a normal thing

This is happening to my Mate 20 Pro too. But I am not surprised neither worried as this was hapenning to my Galaxy S7 and my LG Optimus 4x.
It's perfectly Normal, minimal battery usage and prevents unnecessary screen activations in your pocket or while on a call, which results in ear touches.

Hi i finally found the solution and made a video of it on youtube. You gotta de-bloat the battery and performance from the manage app. check the video I've gone indepth regarding it.

Question Light around Front Camera ?

Has anyone noticed that a circular light sometimes appears around the front camera sensor.
It seems to happen me when my face unlock fails to work.
There is no info on this light.
If it is there,
Are there any settings for it ?
It would be good as a notification light
My friend, that is a very good point. I just noticed it myself after your post, never noticed that before. I would be great if it could be used as a notification light.
I haven't tried it but this seems to be a solution which works on another Realme device:
That is to show something is using your camera, it's a new privacy safety feature.
For example if some shady app is recording you that's a way of telling you. Same for the rear camera, it shows a green dot on right side.

I think this light can be used even for notifications like the Redmi K20 Pro phone which has a light on the pop-up camera and I used this phone for a long time. This light looks cool if it is in the Realme GT 2 Pro!
I'm in India and it is releasing on 14th April so I'm still waiting for this phone.
it's just an indicator that tells you the phone is detecting face.
I have a Samsung S21 from my work and that does exact the same thing with the selfie camera. I think it's an android 12 thing.
