Well, can't do much since Note 3G is a MediaTek device, and don't have much source code or documentation outside like Qualcomm Snapdragon chips.

Either :
1. Flash a MIUI Stock rom in recovery after all wipes or
2. Flash a MIUI Fastboot Rom.
Actually there is a small problem, I can't adjust the brightness...

After rebooting freshly flashed rom and choosing language Setup wizard stops and I cant go on.

Just put this in the bug tracker as well:
To get rid of the on-screen navigation keys, open a root editor, mount as RW. Go to /system, find build.prop, add "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" without quotes at the bottom. Save and reboot. Tadaa!

Must flash rom first boot phone and then reboot to recovery to flash gapps or you will get this error !!

Hello, i need ur help who may already know better in cusrom redmi note 3 snapdragon. i have problem in installation custom rom, as an example now i can't use M-Banking Apps (because root access detected) cause in rom Nitrogen-OS root access can't be completely deleted though I have installed Nos_Unroot.zip as contained in nitrogen os thread. So can u help to tell me about Custom Rom with NO-ROOT ? Thanks :fingers-crossed:

I think you can hide root with magisk. Anyways the aosp rom is rootless. You can go for that.

It's not work bro but dont worry now i know how to fix this problems haha. I use Aosp Extended (AEX), In this rom there is no root access. Now my problem solved)

LineageOS is not rooted.
Resurrection remix has built-in magisk to hide root.
Take your pick.

They must have just forgotten it. Trust me. I have a KII-L22. There's no reason that KII-L23 isn't supported.

As far as I know, RR is the best
I think there no official marshmallow update for kiw-l23, which leaves the model with Lollipop firmware,
and I think, you cannot flash custom ROMs on top of a lollipop firmware,

is there any Rom for the 4X based on CAF with all loveing RR features?
Im using the RR5.8.3 from first day and its cool anyway, but i think with CAF Based (SD625 Optimitzed Kernel) it will be the best for ever

Ah yep, halogen is also Caf, but I suggest you to clean install the Rom, don't dirty flash over a different Rom.

Worked but there was some problems with root etc. Performed clean flash and now everything works Meh. As always i cant play flac files..

So its necessary to flash gapps while flashing the ROM
Afterwards, you can install magisk/viperA
