{Guide}How to install stock rom for Lenovo A6000 plus without "Error 101" - Lenovo A6000/Plus Guides, News, & Discussion

First of all download the firmware from this Link : http://phonedl.ota.lenovomm.com/dls/v6/A6000-s_S030_151030_WCAF.zip
Make sure you have TWRP installed (you may or may not be able to install it with stock recovery)
1) Extract the Firmware
2) Look for the zip named system.zip and copy it to your phone
3) Flash this as you flash any other rom (wipe data/factory reset)
i was getting an error when i tried to flash the actual zip directly then i extracted it and flashed the system zip directly...
i hope this helps someone...

Simple steps:
1. Go in fastboot mode.
2. Flash official twrp.
3. Boot in recovery.
4. Flash supersu zip.
5. Reboot your phone.
And yeah, allow modification to system partition when asked in recovery. The only downside of the official recovery is that it will be replaced by the stock recovery on boot. No prob, you can flash it again. No need to flash custom cooked boot image or something.
To keep recovery forever:
In system partition, there will be a file next to build.prop, named something like recovery-boot-bak or something, delete it and then flash twrp and this time it will stay.

After flashing for ex. Resurrection Remix (or any other custom rom) the device asks whether it should leave an old recovery or not. Flashing official miui zip doesn't touch the recovery at all.
So it's not necessary to delete any files (regarding my experience).

(Urgent help) I tried to update my device and now it does not turn on

Trying to update my device (GR5 KII L33) I downloaded an update.zip file, and added it to the dload folder, but this file did not correspond to my phone, so now it does not turn on and only directs me to the TWRP. I have not found the original software KII L33 and I can not get my phone to turn on, although I have repeatedly installed my backup the phone just go to the TWRP
Please, I would be very grateful if you could help me restore my phone, or share the original file so I can install it, since so far I have not found a solution
If you're wanting to flash stock then there's a guide here.
If you're wanting a custom rom then in TWRP just do a full wipe (factory reset + system) and flash the ROM zip file just like normal.
Don't flash official ROM update zips in TWRP.
Donot flash official emui updates from twrp, as it contains update.app files

If you're stuck/bricked/bootloop while going back from a Custom ROM to Indian Stock

See guys, we do not have an option to install stock C675 if everything is wiped. ( I mean to say something equivalent to EFS partition where imei resides ). Then what best can be done here is get your device working in Lineage and try some apn creation fixes which I'll post below for Volte. If it works, well and good. If it does not, we need to wait and swap sims till we get the official stock system.img and boot as well as recovery ramdisk out from a dev or Honor's side. They do not have it in their database and so its difficult for them too to install it from scratch as they need every rom partition and in the treble devices, its a different way than samsung's odin or Mi's flashtool.
Now follow the exact steps below which I did and got a working device :
Things to download :
Berkley TWRP Official, Lineage OS - [ 1. system.img from Garbage folder. (Latest) , 2. ROM zip to update the ROM to latest from TWRP later.] , Stock Recovery from XDA, Luk's Gapps.
1. Install Berkley Official TWRP latest one from XDA thread (with NO mod) through fastboot.
2. Always use the button combination (power+vol up) to boot to twrp as soon as it gets flashed and you remove the wire.
3. Once it boots, wipe data, system, cache. After that, go to "Format data" option in TWRP and format it. (Its different than wipe)
4. Restart in TWRP.
5. Go to fastboot mode from TWRP and flash stock recovery through fastboot by using ramdisk command.
6. Flash system.img which you downloaded through fastboot and then as soon as it gets installed, do not boot it and instead go to stock recovery from button combination and click on factory data reset. Once done, let your phone boot.
7. Once you boot, setup your phone and flash TWRP Image through fastboot again. (Do not wipe anything on that.)
8. Once flashed just boot to TWRP and flash Lineage 15.1 "zip" as well as gapps through ADB sideload or USB drive. Do it one by one, first OS zip and then reboot to TWRP and do the same process for Gapps zip. Just make sure, you do not wipe anywhere after step - 4.
9. If you follow the exact process, you get a working ROM.
Credits : I would like to thank Luke for Lineage 15.1 . If we are midway, we have no other option to go back to C675 and this is the only option mentioned above to get a Bug free device other than Volte and camera. For camera, there are stock ones available for Magisk.

is it safe to flash MIUI global 10 fastboot rom with twrp?

hello,
so I was just wondering is it safe to flash MIUI 10 global rom with twrp? I know that it will probably replace the twrp with stock recovery, but it is easily fixed. I had to restore old backup and right now I'm on MIUI beta rom but with beta roms being shut down starting from 1st july, I just want to convert to the latest MIUI global rom which is avilable here on thier offical site and it is called Version: V10.3.4.0.PEJMIXM (MIUI10)
so again my question:
1. is it safe to flash this rom with TWRP?
2. will i need fastboot zip file if I choose to flash with TWRP?
3. or can I just download the normal zip and flash it through local update feature? please take note that twrp is installed on my phone
so that's all.. thanks for your time:good:

No,I recommend downloading the full (recovery) rom and flashing it in twrp, and then flashing the 'Disable Force Encryption' zip and later magisk if needed.., wipe dalvik cache & reboot
This way you don't lose twrp or anything else on your phone

Hi ethanks for your reply. What do you mean by full rom? Does twrp allow flashing miui global roms just like any other custom roms?

Of course it does..
I'm talking about the full rom also called as recovery rom (Example :-
https://en.miui.com/getrom-355.html?m=yes&mobile=2
Visit this link to see the latest miui stable & beta ROMs for Poco f1, both of them are full ROMs aka recovery ROMs of the latest miui for Poco f1
1) I assume you have already unlocked bootloader etc..
First you have to have the essential files i.e the rom zip file you want to install, disable Force Encryption zip file, Magisk zip file (All files links will be available in the main Poco f1 thread)
2) Next you boot into twrp (Power + volume up button)
Next select install, navigate to the downloaded rom zip file and swipe to flash (DONT reboot after flash, click back)
3) Now again select install & now flash the disable Force Encryption zip file (This is very important & should be done during every rom flashing)
4) Next go back & flash Magisk for root
5) Wipe dalvik cache and reboot

Did you flash stable rom ?
And did you erase the data or internal storage?
I am on beta as well and have unlocked bootloader and twrp & magisk installed with Force encryption Disabled.
I want to switch to 10.3.5.0 Stable ROM.
But I don't know whether to erase Data partition or not.

1) Use migrate app from play store to take a backup of current phone app data, the backup is stored in a flashable zip format
2) Next boot to twrp, choose wipe and select davlik, cache, system, data later follow my steps in my previous comment to flash new rom
3) Set up phone etc, Make sure Magisk is installed properly
4) Next boot into twrp & flash the migrate zip file located in migrate folder, reboot after flashing, you will get a notification about migrate backup once rebooted, open it and restore everything or select choose to restore for selective restore of data

Redmi Note 9S unclocked. How do I need to proceed for a recovery?

I tried installing one but the phone doesn't restart in the recovery and freezes.
Anyone can help me with the steps and the links to the files I need to use to install a working recovery? I'm on the latest MIUI 12.
If you just want to root, it's possible without TWRP too
You need to be googling every fact that you don't know, cuz I did in the same way
1. Find the original ROM file online
2. Verify that the version is same
3. Use online extractor and find boot.Img
4. download it, install magisk apk, open it, browse the boot file and patch it
5. Now copy patched boot file to ur adb folder in PC and rename it to boot.img
6. use fastboot flash boot boot.img
7. You've got root access, magisk works, boom!
if you just want root then follow the reply before me but if you want to install
custom recovery - https://fah1m.medium.com/how-to-install-custom-recovery-on-android-d70395f07be3
rom - https://fah1m.medium.com/how-to-ins...note-9-s-pro-pro-max-poco-m2-pro-f132b99e4785
follow these two guides and use pitch-black miatoll custom recovery.
