HELP - Motorola Droid RAZR

Hello I accidentally changed the Base band settings to USA band now I can't use a sim card on it . Hence, the signal is lost completely no network at all.
Am aware am suppose to flash the radio
Fastboot flash radio radio.img
I just wanna know the step by step procedures in accomplishing such task or any other method preferably that would yield the same end result.
Thank you

How did you change the bands? If you can change it to USA you should be able to change it back.

You can't flash stuff with fastboot with a locked bootloader, you should be able to change it back to cellular in the same menu.

Radio Guide for HTC Amaze

Hey y'all. There should be two radios now. The T-Mobile and the Tellus. Wind should have another radio altogether. Could the powers that be please pull radio.img files and start up a quick guide on how to unlock the boot loader and flash radios. I am happy to contribute, but I'm new to HTC. I am running a T mobile phone on a Canadian network - I assume that a radio designed for here would work better (wrong or right).
My Baseband is 1.07.550L.04DC_20.64.550L.07D
Thanks.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have to have s-off to be able to flash a radio?
I flashed radios on my 3g slide and didn't have s - off
correct me if im wrong but if its an official radio, ex- signed update - s-off is there to check if its got official signature, it should be allowed to flash
I don't know much about HTC. I owned a nexus S and flashed a few radios with fastboot and adb. It helped alot through the search bug issue.
I see this full roms availble now
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1335703
The question is what will happen if I flash another providers ROM on top of my fully stock T-Mobile. The guide suggests that you just copy it onto an SD card on a fully locked phone and Voila. There doesn't seem to be an indication of someone switching ROM's ie. Tmobile to Wind. There are a few that tried the Telus Rom but no indication that it's worked for anyone yet.

I'm pretty sure you have to have SuperCID to flash another carrier's ROM, and you can't get that without full radio S-Off. The current HTC unlock method doesn't allow us to flash radio images, as well as other little things like splash screens. Until full S-Off is achieved, I don't think we'll be able to do any radio switching.
So would a carrier be able flash their ROM onto a phone - ie. walk into my provider and have them flash their software and CID information onto the phone - or better yet - could HTC theoretically change my CID information directly?

How to check If my device is Sprint unlocked or OEM

How to check If my device is Sprint unlocked or OEM
I Is there a way for me to check if the device is SPRINT unlocked or OEM unlocked ?
I was able to stump/Bump and install other roms and I am currently using GSM Network on this Sprint version of LG.
Also looking 2know this...
How can I check if my Sprint LS990 is Sprint unlocked or OEM.
Guess if i can't access Bump screen (when device is off - holding Vol' Down+Power....when i see LG logo releasing power and immediately hold again) i am just NOT Bumped(=unlocked)?
Thanks!

Carrier unlocking and bump are 2 totally separate things. Bump referred to here, as unlocked, means you have twrp recovery, for flashing custom roms and backups. Carrier unlock means sim card port has been unlocked for use on any gsm network.

I really didnt knew that,
I do have a TWRP installed....which means it the same but different method.
I use my Sprint G3's out of u.s on a GSM/LTE network.
But i also interested to know if Sprint made them own unlock (with code...) or they did made an OEM unlock as they told,
Thanks for your help!

I dont need them...as for my understanding, if i have a TWRP it means my Bootloader is unlocked.
I think i mixed between two things:
1) Unlock to any Network by a code from Sprint to n oem by manufacturer.
2) Unlock Bootloader to install rom.
So if i can use a GSM network outside u.s = Phone is unlocked.
If i have a Recovery = Bootloader is unlocked.
Thanks!

so when u unlock you manually enter the apn of the desired gsm network. how does it work in case of roaming where it might have to switch to other gsm networks?
would switching to other networks be automatic or needs to be manually keyed in.

If you are on cloudy rom you dint have to worry about all these because his base rom is international it autoco figures the apn settings and selects the best network.

Convert HTC 10 Verizon to Unlock Developer version?

Hi i have an HTC 10 Verizon
My phone has Unlocked Bootloader and S-Off
Can i change CID and MID to developer and Run the Developer Ruu?
Many people talk me that its imposible and if i will try my phone will go Bricked
Please help me
sure can, only drawback is that you have no VOLTE/Advanced Calling/Wifi Calling if you use a verizon sim. Also is a PITA to go back to verizon and have all of the features working again.
Instructions for converting VZW HTC 10 to US Unlocked
thank @andybones and @dottat
1. if you have advanced calling turned on for Verizon, I would recommend turning it off before continuing. In case you want to get back to Verizon, its a PITA to get VOLTE/advanced calling/wifi calling going again
2. reboot to download mode
3. open cmd prompt, and send fastboot oem writecid BS_US001
4. send fastboot reboot-bootloader
5. go back to download mode
6. verify your CID has changed, MID does not need to be changed, as the models are the same.
7. Download this RUU, and run it. I know its not the latest or nougat, but this is the only one I could get to install without giving me an error 150. You can try other US unlocked RUUs but I know this one works.
http://dl3.htc.com.s3.amazonaws.com...WL_M60_SENSE80GP_NA_Gen_Unlock_1.80.617.1.exe
8. Run the RUU, when successfully installed, reboot, and setup the phone. You wont have working Verizon radio at this point however (if you are using a Verizon based sim)
9. Using wifi, take OTAs until you hit nougat (this will take an hour or 2) so make sure you have time set aside to not have a phone to use.
10 Download the radio from this link, it is the latest radio from Verizon 1.85.605.8 (non nougat firmware) , unzip it, and put the image in your adb/fastboot directory
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=313042859668276381
11. Once on nougat, reboot to bootloader. Open a command prompt and enter fastboot flash radio xxxxxxx.img (the x's denote the name of the img file inside of the zip above). Once successful, enter fastboot reboot and reboot to nougat.
12. Once in nougat, open dialer and enter *#*#4636#*#* and set the radio drop-down to LTE/CDMA.
13. At this point, you should see Verizon Wireless in the top left corner, and have working LTE/3g/1x. Note that once again, there will be no VOLTE/ADVANCED CALLING/WIFI CALLING and it is a PITA to get back down to VZW 1.85.605.8 and get all of this to work (not impossible, a PITA though)
14. Flash TWRP and supersu and whatever else you want at this point

Could you also have a VZW radio zip package that can be stored on your SD card so one can just accept every OTA while on US unlocked and then after booting, move the radio zip to root of SD card and flash it via download mode?
And just repeat every OTA and use the newer VZW radio when available?

I suppose its possible, however from the verizon end of things, where our current firmware sits at 1.85, the only us unlocked RUU i could get to flash was the 1.80 without getting an error. then there are something like 4 OTA's to take until you hit nougat. what i didnt try, was going right from 1.80 to 2.28 directly via RUU once i got US unlocked on the phone. That might even work.
However, until we get a TWRP flashable radio in a zip (im not a smart man), the radio has to be flashed via fastboot, so storing it on the externalSD doesnt do any good. With TWRP in good working order by captain and friends, that might be a more feasible possibility.
Ok, so I've got the latest FW working on nougat with verizon a bit simpler... Convert to us unlocked CID, Flash latest US unlocked firmware, flash the radio.img you linked, and flash whatever nougat rom you want. Manually select verizon APN under mobile settings, use *#*#4636#*#* and change to LTE/WCDMA/GSM/CDMA auto and toggle radio.

I had a question and im sorry if this isnt the correct post to post this on but since i used sunshine to unlock my bootloader and s-off, changed cid and now running us unlocked firmware do i still have to unlock my bootloader thru the htc dev site cause im getting the htc screen with the red text when i flash twrp and then it reboots the phone and doesnt boot twrp. Already tried different images and same results....
Update: I went ahead and unlocked thru htc dev and reflashed twrp and that seemed to do the trick! Funny thing is that when i flashed the unlock token from htc dev i didnt get the normal screen asking if i want to unlock bootloader!

Hmm, thats odd, i thought you were already bootloader unlocked and SOFF...there should have been no need to re-unlock via token. I assume you went to the TWRP thread and downloaded 3.0.3.0 TWRP unoffical from there. I have heard of MD5 not matching up and causing that issue.

[Q] XT1526 - Change Baseband to US Cellular

I recently found a repository containing stock fastboot flashable firmware for pretty much every single Moto E variant out there (except Sprint XT1526, much to my dismay). I have a Sprint XT1526 which has its bootloader unlocked. I was reading about a US Cellular variant of the XT1526 and how it is network unlocked for domestic GSM/CDMA usage. Since the Sprint variant isn't unlocked domestically, and since both are the XT1526 model, I figured I'd try to flash US Cellular stock firmware through fastboot to see if it worked.
I tried both the 5.0.2 and 5.1 images from USC and both gave me the same results: everything flashed and booted fine, but the Baseband is still listed as being Sprint. The firmware packages include a modem for me to flash (called NON-HLOS.bin I believe), but even after flashing this US Cellular modem along with the rest of the files I just can't get the baseband to switch from Sprint to US Cellular.
Any help on how to get the Baseband switched from Sprint to US Cellular so I can use my T-Mobile SIM in this thing? There is a modem file in the stock firmware but there isn't a radio file. Is this the problem? I thought the modem was the same thing as the baseband, not the radio? But if I am missing a radio file is there any way I can get a US Cellular one?
P.S. I'm not sure if this is a bad sign like something broke after I tried to flash the wrong firmware or if it always did this, but now when I insert my T-Mobile SIM it isn't detected at all. It thinks I don't even have a SIM inserted when I actually do (yes, I checked to make sure it was inserted the right way)
EDIT: Did research on my own and it turns out I'm actually missing a radio file; just a modem isn't enough. Since there doesn't seem to be a place I can find a prepackaged radio, is there any way someone with a US Cellular variant could "extract" a radio image for me to flash?
EDIT2: Apparently the fsb and NON-HLOS images were all I needed all along, but flashing those like I did still didn't help. Looks like this just isn't going to work.

I think I'm gonna throw in the towel now. I believe I know the problem: its not that I don't have the right files to change the radio/baseband, its that fastboot is still in secure mode (even though my bootloader is unlocked) which prevents me from flashing certain images like bootloaders, partition tables, and radios. If someone were to either leak an insecure bootloader firmware package or compile their own, then baseband switching would be as easy as flashing these files.
I now have an XT1526 with a dead SIM slot, but its not like I was using it anyway so I guess there's no loss
@jasonmerc your phone's SIM card slot isn't bricked... it's just still domestically locked, so it will show that error when trying to use a non-Sprint domestic sim...

I guess each variant is different then. Back when I had my Verizon one (before I did the SIM unlock) if I put in my SIM it wouldn't say I was missing a SIM card, it just said the SIM was not recognized/not valid
@jasonmerc Did you ever try flashing to the USC bootloader before trying a modem flash? I was thinking maybe the bootloader is the key to all this... but it's the highest risk flash

Yeah I tried that but nothing happened. I was speaking with squid2 over PM about this, apparently on more modern phones a bootloader unlock doesn't guarantee you FULL access to every partition to change. The partition I'd need to alter to make it work, namely the ones that have to do with GPT, bootloader and modem, are part of this "restricted area" that you can't alter.
The only way we could alter the partitions needed to make this work is to obtain leaked engineering firmware for the XT1526, which when flashed gives you 100% full access to every partition. Leaked firmware is hard to come by, and I doubt Motorola would just hand it over if we asked them
EDIT: I notice in your signature you have something about a modified ROM intended for GSM usage on your Sprint Moto E. Does this ROM somehow enable GSM for domestic use or is that for non-USA GSM?

I flashed an XT1527 6.0 stock system.img and boot.img directly on the Sprint XT1526, and made some modifications myself to make it work with Sprint (through build.prop mods) and have been using it that way since.
It will still only accept a Sprint SIM though...
That's too bad changing out the bootloader didn't help

hi bro, i already unlock sonim xp8800 sprint and att, no matter imei , can change, but with cat s48c we dont have a loader or a stock rom only backups and all backups are sprint, for example for unlock sonim sprint the fast way is flash att rom without check modemst1 and modemst2 , so i have a theory with cat , when already unlock if restore qcn and fix imei the imei fixed is imei 2, y remove from the sim tray the extra cover i think is for sim 2(imei2) but nothing happen, maybe becouse stock rom only recognize single sim, on sonim already enable dual sim. if you are available for work with me send pm
