Honestly, i'm sick and tired of trying to find a solution to root my Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 and hoping it worked and ending up with either a "unable to root" or just an unrooted device.
Please can someone give me links and tell me how to root it.

Hi everyone. I've been searching for a while now and cant find a definitive answer on whether or not this can be rooted. My son got one for Christmas and I want to root it for him. It has ICS 4.0 and Google Play already pre-installed.

I too am looking for a way to get my next7p12 rooted. However I think you didn't get the response you were looking for due to a poor choice of titles.
As I'm assuming your next7p12 is actually a next7p12-gap as I came with google apps installed already.
I am still looking for a method too get this accomplished.
Even if someone would give me a lil push of knowledge I can try to get the job done myself.

hmm, you try Kingroot v4.5.0.901.apk , link ; http://d-h.st/thrZ ,good luck
Download and install Kingroot
Open Kingroot and click Root
You will see large circle click there and waiting
After a successful root you'll see a blue stick.

Hello i was wondering if anyone knows a way to root my device i just got it 4 days ago and its a G Pad X II 10.1 LGE-LGUK750. i tried king root/one click root and some other ones but they all say that it has failed.
Also i tried them on my imperial max zte and they don't work on that either.
i tired all the basic rooting programs and still cant seem to find anything out about this tablet and what would work with it

Hello everybody. I wanna ask: Does anybody know the way to get the exact camera sensor name without root? I own Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and it has been shipped with 3 different sensors: from Sony, Samsung and Omnivision. I know how to get it with root (acutally I am rooted), but I'm looking for a way to do it without root access. I was thinking of using adb, but didn't find any useful info on the web.
