Adaway used to work on cm10.2(4.3.1), now that I have updated it to cm11(4.4.2), Adaway does not work anymore. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Im using GT S5302 [ ARMv6] [ 2.3.6 ] [STOCK ]
And having exactly same problem...!!
Not a single ad is blocked ...even after updating HOST files...

Thanks for the help, but it still does not work for me
i cann't install adaway in miui for sg2 (9100), the base version are 4.1.2 when adaway dont install i try diferents versions of fdroid, someone know why ? or how do it for install it? thanks.

Exactly what not happening. I have on new Rom and it update and block ads. Maybe I help.

My post has 400+ downloads (& 0 thanks:laugh & only you guys said it doesn't work. Well it's working here on CM11 (4.4.2) flawless. Anyway you can download it from here, but is the same that I posted before:laugh:
P.S: & of course you can post your issues there too, better than post it here

this is because of write protection
Make sure you have the super user app installed. Adaway would lock up on mine without it.

In wanam go to system>launcher>enable wallpaper scrolling option reboot....and then disable and reboot...it may works.

Soka I did exactly what the op said but still no luck
Here is what I did
I am on .726 LP root and dual recovery
I un ticked nu player in developer options selinux is permissive
Didn't install busy box cuz they say it breaks dual recovery
Installed the app and the drivers is installed well
Edit the build.prop as the post says but the problem is that v4a isn't actually processing the audio
This so important to me as I love music so much

Yes, it is KitKat for us, Redmi 2 users. It's embarrassing but Xiaomi did again. Make the MiUI v7 LP for others and (I don't know why the hell) it made KK for us

i was try some method to flash xposed on my xiaomi redmi note 3 phone. but i was not success, and i was reflash my phone again and again. so i am finding the safe way to do this. i hope your post will help a lot of redmi 2 users. it not for me

@Lennoard nice you mentioned it I wanted to ask about this, miui7 has some sort of service in battery settings about background processes does it interfere with greenify? I know here it is not a place to make a request but someone should come up with custom kernel for stock kitkat or at least stock kernel unsecured and init.d enabled.
