All i9100 roms can be flashed to the i777. Just follow my guide at the top of the general forum, entitled "[how to] safely boot i9100 roms on the sgh-i777."

[Q] ROM for Galaxy Ace: Jellaxy or Maclaw's GalaxyICS?

Hi,
I would like to install an Android 4 ROM on my Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i, currently running 2.3.6 Gingerbread. After a lot of research I've narrowed my choice down to two ROMs, but still can't decide which one is best: Maclaw's GalaxyICS, or Jellaxy?
My main concern is speed... Which of the two is faster? Maclaw's ROM is based on CM9 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and Jellaxy is based on CM10 (Jelly Bean). Does this mean Jellaxy is slower?
Could anyone who has tried both ROMs or who has knowledge on this subject enlighten me please?
Thank you
both roms are for galaxy ace 5830, the normal ace..!!
those roms aren't for our abnormal ace 5830i !!
however if you want jellybean on your phone i suggest you should try jellyblash or simplicity v4...
you can find other many roms for our device on galaxy ace 5830i development section..take some time, have a look at the screenshots, read reviews and decide what fits you best.!!
Good till now u haven't installed them cos u don't have these roms on our device
They are from s5830 not S5830i which makes a huge difference
So buddy
Flash simplicity
And if u own s5830 then wrong section

There is no android 4 rom for our phone yet. Only gingerbread available.
NOOOOOOOOOO! :crying:
I Just realised how foolish I was when researching these ROMs. I assumed they were compatible with the S5830i because it said "Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830, S5830i, Ace II" at the top of the XDA threads... I overlooked the fact it then narrowed it down to just the S5830.
Thank you for telling me though guys, I would probably have flashed the S5830 ROM and bricked my device if you hadn't told me this.
I'll take a look in the development section for S5830i, thanks for your help!

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II Roms?

Since rooting this device is possible, are there any ROMS out for the Galaxy Stratosphere II? I know there's ROMS for the Stratosphere, but none for the Stratosphere II.
I've been looking too but haven't been able to find any. However I think a couple of day of the guys from the stratosphere ii root threads are working on porting cm

This phone is basically the Relay (See jdshewey.blogspot.com/2013/09/stratosphere-ii-sch-i415-teardown.html) and the realy is supported in CM 10.2 (github.com/TeamApexQ/apexq/wiki) so I think this version of CM *should* work on the Strat 2
I'd give it a go myself but I bricked mine

Thats because you flash roms for different phones to your phones
As we all know, the Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II is basically the same phone as the Samsung Galaxy S Relay. An official CyanogenMod 10.2 ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S Relay is being worked on right now.
When the stable version of CyanogenMod 10.2 is finally released for Samsung Galaxy S Relay, will it be possible to port it over to the Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II?
Porting
If this handheld same as relay 4G, why no one would port relay 4G's custom rom for strat II?
I've tried to port the rom but failed.
The widest step i did on my Strat II just rooting and installing CWM so the next project is having custom rom installed but i have no idea how to cook better custom rom for Strat II.
Can someone give a better idea?

[Q] Slim Rom for Galaxy S3 I9300

Hi Guys,
Slim Rom Build 7.0 Official (Android 4.4.4) is released for Galaxy S3 I9300. Have any one tried flashing it?. I couldn't get the instructions for flashing and reviews in any of the sites except the download link in the Slimroms site http://www.slimroms.net/index.php/downloads/dlsearch/viewcategory/1062-i9300
Please share the link for the instructions and possibly reviews.
Thanks.
Flash it like any other ROM.
The ROM is like any other AOSP based one. Nothing special.

Thanks a lot.
Could you provide me the download links for Slim Rom Build 7.0 Official and Gapps for 4.4.4 for Galaxy S3 I9300 and Galaxy S2 SGH T989(aka hercules).
I am getting confused which to download from Slimroms site. I am under STABLE section for I9300 but at the top it shows that I am under UNSTABLE section. Please refer attached image.
http://www.slimroms.net/index.php/d...3349-slim-i9300-4-4-4-build-7-0-official-5934
I think the top heading might be incorrect as v7 is the latest stable version

[Q] Stable and smooth ROM

Hi!
A friend has a Samsung Galaxy S III (I9300). He would like to change ROM, now he's on latest firmware (4.3 if I remember right).
He like Android Lollipop based ROMs, but if there are other ROMs (KitKat for example) that are best we'll install it.
I don't know how to flash a kernel, a recovery and a ROM on Samsung phone (I have a Sony).
So please can you tell a good ROM smooth and stable for this phone? And also can you tell me how to flash it (noob guide because I don't know Samsung phones).
We don't want to try all ROM (I'm impressed, there are very many ).
Thanks in advance!
P.S.: Sorry for my bad English.

Here you will learn everything about flashing a custom ROM on a Samsung Galaxy S III I9300.
To choose your ROM, you can first of all decide if you want a Samsung-based or an AOSP-based ROM.
Another thing not mandatory but positive is to see that people are still using a ROM, so look in the I9300 Android Development and Original Development forums for active [ROM] threads.
Once you’ve chosen the one you want, be sure to read its thread carefully before flashing it.
Hope it helped!
I recommended this KitKat ROMs (stable, fast, smooth) (TOP for me)
Blekota Note 4 lite v4
Blekota S5 v11
QS-i9300 kitkat NJ1
Back to n00t v9.

[Q] SII I9100, light ROM

Hello All
I own a SIII I9300 which I have flashed with Archidroid. My wife owns an I9100 and I would like to change to something similar, light and stable ROM version as it is an older Android phone by now. I had a read through the available ROM's but could not make up my mind.
Can anyone of you recommend a suitable ROM?
Thanks
