It sucks how? What do you expect from a 4000mah battery?
For me the battery is pretty awesome.. Can go for 3 days with normal use and a full day easy with heavy use...

I think batery is great. Almost double than my Nexus 6P.

I downloaded the ROM and did a local upgrade. I worked without any issues. But security patch level is unchanged ...

Can anyone confirm that if I buy a X720, I can just do the above out of the box, like literally download, rename, update from local, and have the official rom in less than an hour haha
I would buy one now!

Yes, but you need to verify that you buy One with a stock Rom. Some Shops seem to Flash a custom Rom. Just to be sure Check for stock Rom

Interesting....the firmware here is CLEARLY bigger than the one posted here?!
http://bbs.le.com//zt/eui/le_pro3.html
1,75GB vs 1,558GB for the V2.
Anyone an idea how that is possible???
Anyway I´m gonna flash the firmware I found there as I have some problems with the V2 firmware.
Wallpaper for example....I get FCs when trying to change it.

1.75GB This is Stock Official ROM from The Original source

Flashed this thing without any problems!
I could swear V2-Version made me sweat as it seemed to take years for the first boot.
With this official official ROM first boot is pretty quick. More bloat ware on the on hand on the other hand you can deinstall via launcher.
Biggest wish in future would be to have a reasonable keyboard. This chinese thing from LeEco is a real deep pain in the ass
I change to swiftkey either way but just the few steps until I can are already a bad experience and not "international" from my point of view.
Plain 163300 with this firmware (64/6 device!) before tuning so setting (ondemand, 2048kb read ahead, 128MB ZRAM).
Was anybody able to make any kernel tool startup at reboot? I have to set those at every boot.

I have the 727, so we can legit just flash the chinese rom on the first page then unlock the bootloader?

Edit: SOLVED! If you are on vendor rom and don't have system update in settings or as an app here is how I solved it:
1. Download stock ROM
2. Put file in root folder and call it update.zip
3. Open file manager on the phone, pick the update.zip and choose "upgrade"
4. Done.
I did this after installing twrp but it can be done just as well before installing twrp.

Yessir, that is the case. I did it with my x727 & bingo! The only drawback is loss of Band 12 & possible loss of Wi-Fi calling.
After I unlocked the bootloader, I installed a ROM from GrossoShop. It has Google Play Service built in.

Works on d802. Still I would recommend reading the OP here. Just translate it to English (using google translate etc)
Not sure about bootloader.
I was on SimpleROM Grola v1.2. and I just wiped and installed this ROM in TWRP.
Whatever the bootloader on SimpleROM Grola requires. It works on that.
Installed a few mins ago on D802 Int, currently setting up and restoring, came from 802 Lillipp rls (stock) - wiped all and installed this rom
After install i get massive LGSmardCardService has stopped workin, didn't need that so i deleted it
Will report back more later

You was under stock lollipop right? Could you explain which bootloader/baseband/stuff like this you flashed please ?
it is for all variants lg g2 ?,,,,, my unit is the D801
Works on d801 too.
If anyone wants to install xposed then disable lg weather and lgsmartcover.
Also, xposed module g3tweaksbox works great on this ROM

No luck installing on my D801. I tried first from rooted V30B but it stayed on the LG Logo for 15+ minutes with only a slow flashing LED. I was able to get back into recovery and restore my backup but I'm anxious to give this G3 port a try.

How update
Insert the Micro SD card into the handset and power on. After entering call -> enter:*#*#2846579#*#* -> ProjectMenu -> Software Upgrade -> SDCard Upgrade-> OK,
Important:
To return full stock consider that B103 is first official full rom. Together with update.pp you must put also this file (unzip) to have this structure on dload directory

hi there...possible to find out how to check which ROM im on? and if im allowed to download other ROMs instead?
My VIE-AL10 (C00***) has already jumped two more versions. I was on B163 over the weekend and yesterday on to B169. It is good to see some mionor bug fixes coming through as and when rather than the once or twice a month depending if your running the developer ROM.

Thats the advantage of buying China version of the Phone. Developer rom gets updates every month, while stable version gets update about every 2 months. International version gets update like maybe twice a year.

great will go check later...have not even used the phone cause was unable to link it up with google contacts and google calendar which is pretty annoying as all my work contacts and appointments are linked to that.
was told there is some apps on the HW app store which allows for this will have to try it tonight. i think its called Calendar and contact sync adapter.
I've downloaded your B160 file and installed it over the phone menu
extracted the downloaded file, copied the update.app to the dload folder on my sdcard and then installed it without problems

That doesn't mean it is totally trustworthy as I created a backup of my KIW-L21 B140 before upgrading to MM B330 with TWRP 5-14.
As I didn't like MM B330, I wanted to revert back to Lollipop B140 using my backup and my device got bricked. I tried again twice, bit it got even worse (locked up to the honor logo with a red h letter and no access to the bootloader nor to the recovery screen) !
So i used a full B140 firmware in the dload folder : I had to remove the sdcard from device to copy the firmware from a computer.
Then it took me a long time before I could access the recovery hotkeys : Power+Volume+ & Volume-, and I finally reverted back to B140.
I finally used twrp-3.0.2-0-kiwi to restore my initial B140 backup, and even though the red h letter is still there, my system is now fully functional...
I really hate the way Huawei/honor are handling the updates and the update policy !!!

it's unfortunate you had a bad experience using the 5-14 TWRP version but I can assure you your case is unique and I can show you numerous cases where people restored my b151 backup to get their phone back up and running for many different reasons. Returning to lollipop from MM is not the main purpose of the backup but it does work long enough to do the dload/update.app method to get everything back to stock.
Their is an even newer more powerful version of TWRP posted by @yuweng here >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67851428&postcount=2 that would make it even easier to revert from MM to L without the need of the dload/update.app
I personally used this backup just to test and it worked perfectly

I don't know if this is related with TWRP 5-14 AND with my KIW-L21 but I feel really tired and fed up with Huawei/Honor incremental updates !!!
The Android Security update for MM B330 was simply dated May 2016 EMUI 4.0 was somewhat laggy and worse the Call recorder I got working with Lollipop was not working anymore with MM !!!
I don't know yet which Trade Mark will be my next smartphone, but I'll probably reboot to Samsung, even if it costs more... ^^

Yeah, I heard about this a while ago, but I couldn't figure out why you bought the Note 5 when it doesn't have SD Card slot ???
I'm still using my Note 3 most of the time and I'm very happy with it. The display is simply wowww.
I'm now awaiting after the Samsung foldable smartphone (I mean foldable display).

I no longer need a sdcard, I have the 32 gig note 5 and use Play Music and Amazon Prime music along with a premium Audible account for work
unlimited cloud storage for my photos and videos ... the phone typically has over 10 gigs available. (it's running stock MM for now never even bothered to root it)

Wileyfox Swift 2?

I was on https://cyngn.com/support looking for the Wileyfox Swift stock ROM, when I came across a new device, codenamed 'marmite': Wileyfox Swift 2/Swift 2 Plus. Could this be the next Wileyfox device?
Don't quote me on this but I believe it has better specs than the Swift. IE better camera. Just what I've been hearing around though. So nothing official as of yet

Yep seems to be true. Seen some teasers on their instagram page.

Its sold in russia, hope it will come to europe.

According to the model released in Russia it has a Snapdragon 430, fingerprint scanner and NFC. Looks good, don't know the pricing though.
Its up on their website today, pending an announcement, so certainly seems true...
I'm exited about this. Seems like a nice upgrade. From what I understand the new 430 chipset supports OTG which I really missed on the current model. For anyone interested, here is a comparisson of the specs https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/compare/468607;649493/
Too bad they keep making phones bigger, the current swift is already over the limit for me

You can't take out the battery which is not acceptable as well as the "option" to use a second SIM card or a mirco SD card. The first swift does not have these disadvantages.
Hai There, i have just bought de Swift 2+ and i want to root this device. I have already unlock the bootloader and flash the TWRP, but when i flash the latest SU, the device don't start up anymore.
I just rooted mine today using the version linked in the root-thread for the old swift. Worked fine.
As there is no thread for wileyfox swift 2 plus (yet) I thought I ask here.have any owner's of the swift 2 or swift 2 plus been able to use OTG? as all the adaptors I've bought haven't worked.anybody else had success with OTG? hope someone can answer. thanks.

I do... Swift 2 Plus, rooted and get the same on restarting every time, havent had time to look into getting rid of it yet as I seem to have other issues.

Yes, I've got it, too. It's called "verified boot" and is an annoying Android security feature implemented in official roms. I can't post links, but just google "android verified boot" and you'll find plenty to read about it. You'll either have to live with it or flash a custom rom like Cyanogenmod to get rid of it.

I can deal with it, but it's nicer to get rid of out. U talk about a rom but i can't find a rom for the Swift 2 Marmite.
The stock rom is already a CyanogemMod.
Can u find an rom for the Swift 2 Marmite???
The stock rom is CyanogenOS which is the commercial branch of Cyanogenmod. It is altered to match the Google guidelines. Even though I didn't try I'm pretty sure you won't get these messages after replacing the stock rom with Cyanogenmod.

Ok, u tell me flash the Cyanogenmod to get rid of the message. But i can't find a Cyanogenmod rom for the swift 2 (marmite)
I can only find this: https://cyngn.com/support and that is the Stock Rom...
So is have flashed de SU 2.46 several times now, but the swift2 won't start up, the only thing i see is the flashing word CYANOGEN. sometimes i have waited for 20 minutes, but it won't started.
What do i wrong here???
I have the SU on the internal memory, not on the external SD...Is that the fault i make???

I read. It's Just the Easy upgrade method by recovery... Without the right signature it's impossible to flash the global firmware on the chinese OFX

I don't See the way, by the moment, to bypass the "Qualcomm download tool" login process.I've Tried some procedures of others oppo without success.
Maybe someone smarter than me get it
Has anyone already found a solution how you can install the international rom?
is it the international rom?
I think we just need someone to bypass the "Qualcomm download tool" login process.
Has someone an idea?

I keep thinking that if someone can find the variant identifiers in the roms we can change it to the Chinese variable and make the phone think the International or UK rom is the Chinese one and spoof it into allowing it to use it as it's recovery install.

No, the rom itself needs to be signed. You can't do that without Oppo. Oppo is the ONLY option for you.
No news?
Color OS 5.2
I installed the beta of Color OS 5.2 and everything is working, notifications on the screen locked, recovery mode without orange bar. Sure, it needs to set up several things, but after that I'm using it like any normal Android.
