32gb vs 64gb - LeEco Le Max 2 Questions & Answers

Hello, I'm currently eye-ing the 32gb version of this phone.
Does this have a gimped/binned SoC vs the 64gb version?

No, think it is identical other than size. The 32GB is proper fast ufs2.0 stuff too, not slower storage like on the 32GB iPhone.

[Q] Best microSD card!!!

What is the best (and compatible) microSD card for the Galaxy S III?
I heard that the Sandisk Extreme Pro had fantastic speeds but I also have been looking at reviews of Sandisk cards and a lot of people aren't seeing the expected speeds. Some people have recommended that Extreme Pro card but according to the compatibility list on Sandisk's website, it's not compatible.
Have any of you tried Samsung cards? I have seen decent reviews with them.
Also does anyone out there know the maximum Bus Speed for the slot?
Any opinions?

I wonder if people are getting actual genuine merchandise. It just seems that too many people are reporting slow speeds.

I think a big reason people report slow speeds is that the bus speed will only allow certain speeds, which is lower then the cards capability.
For example:
Card CAN go these speeds...
24MB/Read
13MB/Write
But the limitations of the phone will only allow these speeds...
14MB/Read
8MB/Write
I'm also really wanting to know what the Galaxy III's limitations are.
All depend on class I always get SanDisk name brand.... I got a class 4 I wanna get a 64GB class ten shockproof & waterproof one but they are like $110 :<
yea that makes more sense
I don't have my SGSIII yet, but the Class 10 32GB card by Samsung absolutely flies compared to the card that came with my Epic. Plus it's supposedly shockproof and waterproof.
Just make sure you get a genuine one by purchasing through a reputatable source. I've heard some of the one's on Amazon and EBay are fakes. Got mine from Frys when it was on sale.

I also have a Class 4 that came with and currently have in my Samsung Galaxy S Epic 4G. That is why I'm really wanting an upgrade.
Does anyone know what formats the Galaxy S III will take? SDHC? SDXC? Compatible with UHS-I? Also what Class?
By the way, a fantastic resource for SD cards is...
https://www.sdcard.org/consumers/speed/bus_speed/
I have confirmed with Samsung that the card slot is compatible only up to Class 10 cards.
Anyone have suggestions on the best Class 10 microSD card out there?

Type of SD
I am getting conflicting information on how much external memory the MicroSD card accepts and also what type it supports. Can someone tell me what type ie...
MicroSD
MicroSDHC
MicroSDXC
I spoke with samsung support and they only say my I747 only supports upto 32GB of Regular MicroSD and not MicroSDXC.
Thanks.
i believe that the official Samsung specs only list up to 32GB MicroSDHC but MANY people have confirmed the phone can handle 64gb MicroSDXC cards with no problems.

Use MicroSD UHS in microSDHC slot? (64gb)

even if the extra speed cant be utilised, can the storage be used?
i want 64gb storage on my phone but the specs say 32gb is max supported (SDHC)
im wondering if the UHS microsd's can be used in a SDHC slot reader? (remember im talking UHS, not SDXC)
or are they not compatible?
if they do work, how can i use 64gb?
the phone im trying it on is the SH-01D from sharp.
if what i am trying to do does not work is there a way i can use a other 64gb card i should buy? or is 64gb not possible at all?
also, the specifications of 32gb were from original firmware (android 2.3) now the phone runs 4.0.
thanks.

64gb version

Is this true that G5 dual sim have 64gb storage??
And where can i get it??
Fairly certain G5 is only 32gb regardless of the market.
If u remember lg v10 when launched with 64gb version only..and afterwards we surprised that is 32gb version of it at some sites!!!
So,no surprise when u find dual sim with 64gb...
Anyway let's wait it
Maybe????
Found something suggesting 64 GB, I don't know if it is true or false....... @quickmobileshop.com

Note 8 128gb

Hi, any website with Note 8 128gb ? i don't find it anywhere ...
Thanks
I doubt it'll appear—it's a classic Samsung tune, with every model since Note 2 they've been promising a “Luxury” of whatever version of the same model, always with double the storage. They've never materialized…
Isn't it like a market exclusive? I know they have 128GB versions of the S8+ in Korea.

A 128GB Note 8 would be brilliant but I'm just happy we're getting 64GB as a base option even if Micro SD is included.
It may be because the 128gb and 256 GB versions in Korea might not have the expandable memory option. Idk

In my opinion the reason Samsung does this is the higher storage options also happen to be the "dual SIM" version. Same goes with the 128gb version of the HTC U11.
I believe they expect you to use both slots for SIM cards and therefor give you more storage space to make up for it.
I personally think this sucks. Yes, the SD is fine for "media" (photos, videos, books, documents etc) but the default "download" folder is internal, most apps place cache on internal, and Games, did I mention Games yet? I would Love to own a 256gb note AND have an SD card for media, but Samsung and HTC disagree with me and think 64gb for apps and games is more than enough.
This when Apple offers 32gb, 128gb, and 256gb Iphones (and the rumors for the soon to be released point to 64,256,512!!!)
Seriously, Android is always about compromises and the manufacturers lecturing us that they know best (region specific storage, RAM, colours, in LG's case DACs, etc) Yes, Android is about choice, just not our choices.

Yes I agree. I could care less about expandable memory if you give me 256gb or more of internal storage. Especially when like you said I have a limited amount of apps I can actually move to my sd card. But I feel like alot of U.S customers actually care about that which is why Samsung justifies keeping it in the U.S market and can get away with the 64gb version. Even though manufacturing wise it probably would have been easier for them to just crank out just a 128gb and 256gb internal storage version

You forgot to mention that Apple charges an extra $100 for each memory step up. I'm not willing to pay $1130+tax for a 256gb Note 8

That is the thing about choice.
Just because you are not willing to, doesn't mean others are not!
I would gladly pay a premium for a higher capacity phone. If you are not, purchase the base model, we both win!

True, but this model is imported from Hong Kong and not officially released in the Australian market.
Do you have any indication if the 128gb will be released in Hong Kong in a dual-SIM variant?
Currently I have a 64gb dual-SIM Exynos version on pre-order, but I'd gladly pay a Premium for a dual 128gb that's Exynos.

Sorry, I have no idea. Being from Australia, I don't own the Hong Kong model and don't know what will and won't work in Singapore on the HK model.

Mate 10 Pro 64GB 4GB RAM or 128GB 6GB Ram

Hello,
I am thinking of buying Mate 10 pro but my concern is whether to select 64GB 4GB RAM or 128GB 6GB Ram.
Anyone using 64GB version? Is it enough? Storage is not a problem. I can live with 32GB or even 16GB. But I am thinking about RAM and performance.
Please advice. This will be my first huawei flagship. Thank you.
The 64GB comes with a dual sim / SDCard, the 128GB does not..
Im in UK, so, by default, we only get the Mate 10 Pro 128GB version (L09)... either Unlocked from Carphone or Vodafone UK exclusive
In my experience.. If you use your phone for music and lots of 4K video, but not games... go for 64GB & SDCard.. If you play games and want performance and speed.. with less chance of lag in 6 mnths time, get 128 / 6GB.
In 2018, youll never have to live with 16 or even 32GB of storage.. even the mid-range SONY XA2 or Honor devices have 32 or 64GN of storage..
Perrsonally, I dont play games on my phone.. so the Pro suites me fine, but like its little brother the P10 Plus... an SD Card wouldve been nice,
Oh Yeah.. and a Damn 3.5mm Headphone Jack <<Sighs>>
thank you. i'll try to stretch the budget to get the 128GB + 6GB ram. thank you. Ps, im still thinking of note 8 as well but the fact that it is still running nougat, it disappoints me.
got the 128GB version. thanks
