Battery Statistics - Moto 360 2015

Hello!
I am trying to find out a way to get more battery statistics from my smartwatch. I
Use the battery graphs from Android Wear, and I also installed Wear Battery Stats (donated version). But still not satisfied with the results..
1. Why is "watch idle" consuming so much battery?
2. Need to find out for each app
Did someone side loaded some apps like GSAM or Better Battery Stats or WakeLock Detector?
UPDATE 18.11.2016
I successfully installed some battery apps through ADB with
Code:
adb -e install my.apk
INstalled GSAM Battery Monitor, Better Battery Stats and WakeLock Detector Lite. The last one crashed on startup.
GSAM has a permanent ongoing notifications that cannot be disabled because you cannot reach the settings
Also changed the DPI to 240 with
Code:
adb shell wm density 240
(Went lower to 160, but things were too small. ALso the settings are kept after reboot)
Added some screenshots from my watch.
Now we how to see who is using my battery...

Some more info... I left the programs installed 2 days and I found that "Android Wear" is consuming the most power, and after the screen. But the watch is still sleeping.. For me it's ok....
So, for anyone that wants to use the method described up, go ahead... it might help you a lot...

[Q] Battary Life Issue...Need Help

My X10a used to give a day worth of battery life when I was on Android 1.6 after upgrading to 2.1.A.0.435 it almost got doubles 2 days. A week back I installed black theme using xRecovery and JIT (I didn't take backup before installing it ).
Now the battery is good for 10 -12 hours only. I checked the battery usage, it is show 60% cell stand by and 20% display, my usage doesn't change at all.
Can any tell me solution without doing the repair will greatly appreciated
Thanks
Try going into xRecovery menu and do " wipe battery stats ". Could be you've turned up the brightness, and your display is eating battery?
Maybe you already do this, but these next ones improve battery life in general. Not that it would explain your change... Use the app APNdroid to disable data when you aren't using it. It has a no/off toggle widget for the homescreen that works great. Set WIFI to "off when screen off" along with APNdroid, and use Advanced Task Killer app set to aggressive, medium security, and "auto kill when a screen off". Set all system apps and any apps that you always want running to "ignore" auto kill.
There is argument that task killers actually do more harm than good or kills battery, but that is if you didn't set it up right. At least on 2.1. New versions of Android don't need task killers. If you don't like task killers, skip that. It's better to have no task killers at all than to have one that's set up wrong. Never set task killer on a timer, like every 30 minutes.
When I did all these things I still have 30%+ the next day if I forget to charge it at night with HEAVY use. Before I didn't always make it through the day. Hope this helps.
Thanks for your answer.
I tried wiping battery and then what I found is my phone is using much more power standy mode. The application have not changed and I already use advance task killer in aggressive mode
can JIT increase power consumption in standy by mode?
Don't know if this will help, but try using a fresh download of JIT custom zip. Then going into xRecovery/advanced options and wipe Dalvik Cache and then reinstall JIT. Also, try disabling task killer if you are still having problems.
i've had my x10 for 9 months and last month i noticed a change in my battery life even when i haven't made any significant changes to my normal usage (and settings). my old x1's battery lasted about 11-12 months... and i'm a moderate to heavy user. so it could just be your battery beginning see it's way out.
agentJBM:
I tried reinstalling after wiping Dalvik Cache but this didn't work, I'm stilling seeing drop in battery a percent a minute then phone on otherwise cell standby using the battery.
I guess I need to start from repairing again and installing JIT. Only thing I can think is that JIT is for global ROM but I had Canadian Rogers ROM
if that didn't work then I'll follow azian_advanced advise and order a new battery
While you're at it, see if you have the same problem before you enable JIT after repair software. That will give you an idea if it's the battery.
Also, try the procedure in the thread titled "[Guide] X10 Battery Calibration" found in the general section. I'd provide a link, but I am on my kick ass X10a.
Repair made big difference, I installed all my apps but haven't configured by emails yet but drop of 5% in whole night versus 90% drop earlier. I haven't installed JIT yet and i thinking leaving it alone for now
its crazy how jit seems to effect each phone so differently

how can i improve my battery life?

i'm using quik rom, and the battery drain fast. when the screen is of its about 150 ma.
any suggestions?

I suggest reading the other battery threads.
I use SETCPU to set up battery saving profiles while charging (that one is to prevent overheating), screen off, and calling. Also use Battery Calibration. These have significantly improved battery life - especially standby.
that' the problem, I'm using setcpu, battery calibration and startup auditor, nothing seems to work. the battery drain when the screen is of is about 150-300 ma

Just got mine, and the initial drain was - 5 hours. But the battery is not conditioned yet.
Kill Bloatware
Iin addition to turning off GPS when not in use (have a CurveFish GPS Toggle Widget on my homescreen), keeping screen brightness to 40% via the Power Control Widget, keeping Wi-Fi alive even when screen's off & turning off Facebook updates, going into each app i installed to make sure there's no background updates (like with the Economist or Google +1) & changing refresh/sync times for my weather widget to every hour.
That still had me with a dead battery by the end of my work day, so I decided to take it a step further and I had great success with my battery life by removing a lot of the bloatware on my phone.
Here's what I posted in another thread about removing bloatware...now by the end of the day I was at 60%....not bad at all!
---------------------
Didn't want to unlock my bootloader, so I did the following to disable the apps (didn't uninstall them, just puts them in remission so they don't show up in my App Drawer anymore or run in the background).
I kinda rushed these instructions out and probably left some stuff out since I'm used to doing this on my G2 & my other Android devices, so if you run into any problems, just PM me or post a response.
1. Install HTC Drivers on computer (used Windows 7 Professional machine, separate drivers if you're on a Mac): http://www.multiupload.com/AUF6125ZOY
2. Install ADB Shell (http://www.wiihacks.com/android-phon...setup-adb.html). ADB Shell not necessarily needed, you could use the "Terminal Manager" on your Amaze after you temproot and run the "pm disable" commands there.
3. Use XBoarderMod's One-Click Root to gain Temporary root status (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1310115)
4. Using ADB Shell on your windows box with your Amaze attached via USB with Debugging on, start executing the "pm disable <package name>" command to turn off these apps.
Here's a list of what I disabled (i kept the list minimal, just wanted to get rid of the annoying ones and the apps that kept on persisting in my "running services" tab)

Best of all, this method sticks after the phone reboots and you lose your temproot. Temproot your phone again if you want to reenable these apps or turn more off.
If you're not using ADB Shell to disable your apps, here's a list of all packages on the Amaze since it's going to be next to impossible to get this from Terminal Manager. I tried taking out the apps that I installed myself, but some might still be on this list (sorry).
Also, be careful disabling some packages because some might cause problems...I made sure I researched each one to make sure they were safe to turn off.

thnx for that,
i did all that and it helped me a little.
i think my problem is that i use to hd2 with android battery drain, which is much slower then this phone ( 5 MA when the screen is of)
i am also using setcpu.
i setup profiles so that when the screen is off, the max speed is around 800mhz and the scaling is set to power save.
that has brought the power consumption, with the screen off, to around 70mA.

Not really mate ...
Still tried to nail down what causing battery drain in stand-by and even though I rarely got the 2mA but my phone showed 2mA in stand-by
Noticed on 2nd picture, the 2mA started from 20:02 and kept that rate 'til 20:52 .. that's 50 minutes with 2mA
It was on stock rom with a bunch of stock apps and sense frozen using Titanium
I had this problem when i first got the phone. I even purchased the powerskin because my battery would be depleted in 6 hours, but now i don't even use the powerskin anymore...
Just give your battery some time to Calibrate properly. I have had my amaze for about a month and it seems that with every full charge my battery's performance increases
Even though the 3ma i had with my nexus one is a long shot with this phone, you can still get significant battery life..I am currently on 14hours on battery with 54% charge left on my phone..
This is with few calls, web surfing, pandora and about 4 hours standby time while i slept. I also leave my wifi, gps and sync feature on 24/7..
My phone is rooted with an unlocked bootloader, no changes to recovery or anything like that..
I have frozen almost all my t-mobile bloatware using titanium backup pro and i currently use set-cpu to underclock the processor to 594mhz when the screen is off..

[Q] HTC One x Plus Battery drains

Hello geeks,
I prostrate before ur dedication of sharing knowledge , am not hardccore android geek, am just a server admin..recently i bought HTC One x Plus..and its battery drains faster...please point me in right directin how to fix it , do u guys know any custom rom to increase battery life , and i havent root my phone yet..thanks in advance
First of all, if you have any software running in the background, no matter what ROM you use, the battery life will always be poor.
Let's go with this steps.
1. Restart your phone.
2. Download from google play Wakelock Detector.
3. (optionally) an app which shows you CPU usage like System Monitor.
4. Run Wakelock detector. At the top of it, there is a green/red bar. Red means there is something in the background running and eats your battery.
5. Turn off the screen for an hour (don't use your phone) and check Wakelock. Is the whole bar red? How much active percent do you have?

[App Request] that can monitor system processes while screen is off

Hello
As the title suggest i'm looking for an app that can monitor background proccesses while the screen is off, like one that can record and show which cpu processs ran the most, more like the "Show CPU Usage" feature on the Developer Options but one that can atleast record for me to check later which process ran the most. I know there are apps like Gsam but it doesn't do what i want it just shows Android Systen and Android OS it doesn't show which processes specifically. It should work without root as i'm not rooted.
This is all in the hope of dealing with the huge standby drain on the OJ5 firmware.
Thanks in advance

High Current Consumption in idle state | 200-400 ma

Hey Folks,
I am using Stock with manually removed Bloatware. Root and Xposed are installed. My problem is the high current consumption of my Z5c. I get an average idle consumption between 200-450 ma. On my Z3c the consumption is between 50-150ma in idle state.
I tried several kernel. Stock kernel and androplus v20 - v27, in all kernel i get the same high comsumpition with interactive as governor. Brightness at the lowest and WIFI/DATA off. I use Amplify and in WLD i dont see any Problems. I dont use Facebook, only Whatsapp and GMail. Is somebody have the same problem?
Do you get same values?
Sry for my bad english
You should also check what apps are using CPU power. I had a somehow similar problem and found that some apps were pretty hungry.
I checked it already with a process monitor and the biggest cpu user is always system ui. In the battery usage stats of android, the highest usage come from display and android system.
I reflashed the .163 tft three days ago to start with a fresh installation, but the high consumption has remained.
Then maybe there's a setting that you are always making after flashing the system... Live wallpaper?
I have no other idea at the moment...
No live wallpaper or sth like that. Do anybody know the average ma consumption of Z5c?
Or is it the 810?

It's some of the system components or pre-shipped apps,
CM13 e.g. is able to achieve 1% per 4-8 hours or even less in idle (Airplane mode), but Stock ROM seemingly always keeps something in the phone busy,
my current suspicion is the fingerprint scanner, adaptive brightness, tap2wake, etc. - so system-side is keeping kernel-side awake, but wakelock detectors hardly show any wakelocks when most is blocked (e.g. via Amplify)
all of those work without hardly increasing battery consumption in AOSP and CM13;
so the only things left are apps and system services - or proprietary "****" that is hidden behind app-name, services and others
the Snapdragon 810 is a kind of hothead, it consumes quite a lot energy under close to full load but that doesn't explain the idle drain ...
Mine is regularly around 350 give or take a few, that might explain why I only get 4 hours of battery life ?
my widget pro(same app) says -12ma worst case while screen locked
maybe something running at the background
this phone got lot of problems
but battery is the only thing is pretty okay even without stamina
on average usage its about 2 days for me (heavy 1day)
only calls and sms (with data and wifi off even 4-10 days) android 6.0( build.185)
if the battery was li-poly it was abit better
i could solve the problem. It was the xposed module "flat style colored bars" in the current version ( from 2 May 2016; Version 2.1.0), which caused this high idle current consumption. I deinstalled also the latest "goolge play services" update. It was hard to find the guilty.
Now it is back to 100-150ma in idle state. This Thread can be closed.
Thank you for all your help.

How did you narrow it down to that app? I don't have that module installed but use xstana. That could be my problem.
First i listed the running cpu process per adb shell (root, with command top). The Sony Photo Analyzer used up to 20% of the cpu every time, so i removed it. After that, the System UI used the most of the cpu all time. I disabled all xposed modules for testing and voila the consumption was back at 100ma. So i go through the list and enabled the modules one by one and restarted it.
I am using XStana in the latest version, so it could be not the problem in your Phone.
My List of Xposed Modules:
Amplify, AppOpsXposed, Battery Home Icon, Blurred System UI (LP), BootManager, Flat Style Colored Bars (Version 2.0.1), GravityBOX (MM), Navbar music Visualizer, Prevent Running, XLED, XStana, XUIMod, YoutubeAdAway, Youtube Background Playback
So you see, i am using lot of modules, but the perfomance and battery consumption is as normal.
Hope i could help you with this information. It was very time-consuming to find the problem. You should also checkout google play services, revert back for testing to the last version if you dont find any other problem.
