Some reviewers had posted that the January security update was pushed prior to release, but I've had my 5X running since Tuesday and its still on the December patch.
I made sure to manually check for updates just in case and the phone didn't see anything. I'm connected to both data and wi-fi so I'm not sure what is up.
Has anyone received it other than pre-release folks?

Honor has a BetaClub program that lets users test a new software build before it gets released to everyone. The update with the January Android security patches should be out soon.

I received my phone on Wed. (Feb. 17) from Amazon. It's still on the Dec. 1 Android security patch with no update available.

Bit of a newbie here, came across this forum when looking at new phones and was quite excited by the idea of being able to play with all that was available in the phone.
So I went and bought a 5x have got my unlock code but have not unlocked it just yet, I am UK based and so have the L21 and just wanted to check that the general consensus is to leave the thing untouched (except for a new launcher and a few apps installed) until I have received or somehow updated to the B140 update.
I couldn't work out in the other thread about returning to stock if the B140 for the Kiwi 21 had actually been released yet, couldn't find any downloads on the Huawei site for the UK.

I'm not sure how I could be more clear that the B140 update is for the L24 only

KIW-L21 Users See post 8 for the files you need (But note the OTA is only for the L24)

I'm just waiting on my watch to charge above 80% to install this update! Anyone else get the update or install it? I hope it's 2.0, but I'm hesitant to think it is! I searched for the build number but was unable to find anything relevant Oh well, we'll know shortly!
Well IDK if anyone else gotten it, but it's just a security update. Bringing the security patch up to January 5th! very disappointing!

I have Y7 Prime 2018 the device is an avergae usage phone but iam comfortable with till the company announced for the android pie / emui 9.0 which is very cool to have for sure i searched alot to be knowing whether my phone will get the update or not also tried to search on the official site but i came up with nothing of whether it will be updated or not then i found a thread saying that it has no open aource for being planned to get the update which i actually didnt know how that possible on any android phones and on another thread they said it is planned in the updating list and this made me confused and stuck in the middle of zero info about the update for it
i really hope i get the info i seek of here about whether iam getting the emui 9.0 or its not one of the phones planned of getting it and thanks alot in advance

I won an Honor 8x couple months ago I love it but my only issue is that it seems to be on unreleased/demo software (possibly the unreleased USA rom) that hasn't been updated since last July 2018 It is rooted and had Magisk On it Anybody know where I can find a way to flash pie or at least a newest Firmware,Thanks for the help! I thought that you all would like to know that the Bold-N1 has received yesterday (26, May 2020) a new firmware update, which includes some bugs fixes and Android Security Patch*dated May 5 2020.
Anyone that has already received this new updated, has noticed something new or any enhancements on their Bold-N1 cellphone after installation of this update?
Although I really thought that this was finally the long awaited*Android-10*update, unfortunately NOT, as its only includes a new security update of the same Android-9 system, that already has the Bold-N1.
I still hope that Bold-Products will update the Bold-N1 to the promised Android-10..!!

i have the android 10 update but my front camera doesn't work anymore after updating
