I'm developing an SMS scheduler android application, and would like to include my app in the chooser when a user is trying to send an SMS outside of my app.
i.e. after using the voice commands to create a message, it asks which application you'd like to use to complete the task.
I'd like to add my app to the chooser for as many starting points as possible, including possibly the ability to intercept a message after you press send in the messaging app, and ask if you want to send it with my app.
I believe I should be using intent filters with particular mimetypes, but I dont know which ones. Is editing the manifest all I have to do?

So I've been working on sending information from another activity in the same app. I have a main menu activity with a listview containing pending messages and a compose activity which can accept strings, etc to load into the edittext fields. (This works)
Do I need this bundle to be in a particular SMS formatting (keys for Strings and such)?

This app lost all of my contacts that I stored in it and since it deletes them from your android contacts I can't get them back. Photo/video seems to work but definitely would not recommend this app for anything you wouldn't want lost.

you must return to your settings before uninstall the app... i did the same mistake first time but my luck was that i chose to hide only the videos... so before uninstalling turn back to show contacts, videos, and other things that you selected to hide
I think you have a folder on your sdcard (the app folder) and there must be the things that you chose to hide.. cheek it
i have format my hp without backup my file on vault 1st...then after format i install vault back...my old file cannot open...please help me to recover back my file...

My android phone does not have an sms filter (inbox, outbox, sent, draft and custom folders)
Is there any free android app out there that has these facilities - especially the one where I can create custom folders and move inbox stuff into them at my discretion

(search for SMS Organizer by trailblaze in playstore)
This app supports user defined Folders - so you can create your own folders and save messages in them.
What's more, it also automatically moves messages into these folders, on the basis of 'rules' set by you.
A great app for managing your sms text messages.

I tried this app on my LG G5 android 7.0 and it constantly crashes during initial setup
Not really sure where to ask this so if this is the wrong place, please let me know where to go!
Is there a tool somewhere in which you can run an app in an emulator and view the actual code being processed in each interaction? For example, if the user pressing a button causes the code "refresh voicemail list" to fire, then when the button is pressed in the emulator, "refresh voicemail list" will print in a log, ideally also on the screen to watch it real-time.
My purpose in this is to figure out what an app does at certain points (hopefully the intents being sent) so I can attempt to duplicate it through a shell command. More specifically, although this tool would be useful in multiple situations, I'm looking for the intent sent when Google Voice refreshes a voicemail to get the transcript. I'm hoping to force that refresh in the background so the sqlite database updates without needing to manually open the app and refresh it. I use the sqlite database in a Tasker profile to get the transcript as a variable and unless the Google Voice app refreshes after a missed call, the transcript isn't in the database.
Any tips to point me in the right direction in this endeavor?

I am looking for this for quite a while.
Is there an app that will allow me to create my own cloud based dictionary? I want to improve my language skills through creating my own dictionary.
The dictionary database has to be editable online (web based), since I would like to be able copy/paste detailed definitions from different web dicts.
And of course a sync-able android app that will allow me to check some words on the go or learn while in the train
"Now" dictionary is getting pretty closer to what I wish for, but it's only available for smartphones and no browsers.
"Anki cards" is cool too, but they focus on the flip-cards learning feature which I don't frankly need. I will be completely happy with a super simple searchable custom dict.
There are some apps that allow to create custom dict file and then upload it to the SD or whatever and use it. But I want to be able to add words constantly (web or on the go)
I'm thinking - there definitely is such an app, its just me who fail to search of it properly so please help )

And the best part is that this email will be sent from your account to your account, never leaving your own context. So your email address, as well as your identity, will stay hidden and secure.

I've been using flashcard-based apps for quite some time (Super Memo was great!) and I've found them very useful. But every one of them had some things that just doesn't work for me (e.g. troubles with data migration, lack of support for mobile devices, no statistics, etc.) - so I've decided to write my own.
One line of code to another and the idea transforms into something with its own domain name and Facebook/Twitter page.
