Awesome Pop-up Video is a video player unlike others. It plays the video in pop-up window, floating above other applications, just like on your computer. Some even call it "Picture-in-Picture" mode.

MinMinGuard
MinMinGuard is an Ad-remover made with Xposed Framework for Android. MinMinGuard can completely remove both the ads inside apps and the empty space caused by those ads. Conventional ads removing apps are only able to block the ad content, but the space taken by the ad will still remain unused (black). MinMinGuard successfully removes that black space, which extends the app window and makes your user-experience better!

Lol, did you just copy this from TK's XDA Video

Vlc player has pop up video too without xposed modules and no root is needed.
Anyway, thanks for the info.

Thank you for this share. I haven't installed xposed yet (twrp and root so far) but I'm 'collecting data'.
Another aspect I'd like to customize, even though it appears to be less needed with the launch of EMUI 5 with Nougat, is the tile/quick settings panel. Back in the past in my nexus 5 experience, I've used gravitybox, but as far I understand, it is not meant to be used with non AOSP ROMs. Is there any exposed module to customize tiles panel on EMUI, that you suggest?
Thank you once again.

im still new with this phone (5days) and updated to L09c432b131 (MM) and deinstalled xposed because i had big battery drain over night.
now only root/twrp and testing how long the battery will last
regards

Xstana works too

Status bar sleep works great (except on the lockscreen).

SwypeTweaks is able to switch the Dragon button into a Google Voice button but not change the keyboard color
Flat Style Keyboard works great
PerfectColorBar works (and is better than Flat Style Colored Bars IMHO)
RootCloak

Greenify ?
AppOps ?

Ive got XInsta, Instagram Themer, Youtube Adaway, Statusbar download and SDFix installed and working.
Just one word of warning with xposed, Sometimes the app-picker part of the framework force closes and therefore you cannot use the dialer, open videos etc. etc. BUT a full re-boot usually solves the problem when it happens.
Maybe anyone knows of a fix?

Anybody using the Protect My Privacy module with the US version of Honor 8? If so, any issues?

[MOD][WEAR] Rich Ambient Mode (for Android Wear)

This module disables the transition to Ambient Mode on Android Wear so watch faces keep rendering images (once a minute) in full colored mode instead the usual plain, black & white ambient mode. The watch still goes to sleep (screen updating Handlers are suspended). It allows you to fully enjoy all the beautiful watch faces (both stock and 3rd party).
Battery life: There isn't any noticeable battery drain. With Always-on screen, the watch can still survive 2 whole days. See attached screenshot of a test when battery went during 11 hours from 100% to 78% (few notifications, Tilt to wake disabled, lowest screen brightness on LG G Watch).
Screen burn in: It's not a good idea to use this module with OLED.
Requirements:
Root (su binary on watch)
xposed-arm-20150308.zip flashed through recovery
Adb/developer mode enabled (to install apps directly)
Yes, Xposed framework also works on Android Wear, check my comment for details.
The modded version of Xposed Installer is the same as XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha2.apk, just with few Wear incompatible GUI parts disabled making it launchable on Wear. Because of disabled Action Bar, it's not possible to configure Xposed directly and installation below is required. (If you are familiar with UI coding, universal UI redesign would be helpful. So far I only did smali edits to Xposed Installer but I may try some proper workarounds/fixes later.)
Installation:
Install modded Xposed Installer (1_install_xposed_installer.bat)
Run Xposed Installer
Close Xposed Installer
Reboot watch
Run 2_enable_module.bat
Install this module (3_install_xposed_module.bat)
Wait for Xposed notification and tap to do soft reboot
Current bug/drawback:
Manually opened/expanded notifications do not hide (screen doesn't refresh) after a timeout.

I have thought thats the mod apk do
That requires bit more changes and it's not done yet.
Awesome work, been looking for this ever since I got my G Watch!! Ambient mode is pointless on LCD based watches anyways.

I think I would use something like this as well. If I'm looking at it right, it's in com.google.android.clockwork.home.mr1compat.TiltDetectorService and modifying seems doable so I may try it later.
I tried installing this on 5.1.1 but it does not appear to work. Not sure if this is Xposed problem (using unofficial 5.1 Xposed) or this module's problem. Is there a way to check if module got actually loaded (logcat)?

I fixed what showed crashing in logcat. Or decompile both original and patched apks and run diff...
Thanks, I didn't know if there was something I would miss that you could give me a head ups on but sounds pretty straight forward.
tested on sony smartwatch 3 on android 5.1.1, using v68 sdk22 xposed framework, using your modded xposed installer, rooted with supersu 2.46
not working.. still fade to ambient
Hi @moneytoo, just curious, are you still using this?
I got xposed to work - I had to install xposed-v80-sdk22-arm.zip since the Android OS is 5.1.1 - I then followed your process to install XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha2.apk and RichAmbient.v0.1.apk.
Doesn't seem to work for me on Smartwatch 3 though!
thanks,
Charlie

I am working as much as I can to update the list, I'll put this on the queue.
Edit: Just tested it, accent colors on apps were able to change. Toggle colors, notification drawer colors, etc, did not change. Orange.
The LP Lock screen music disable works.
Has anyone tried no lock home?
Sent from my SCH-I545 using XDA Free mobile app
I have an odd request...I suffer from red/green color deficiency AKA colorblind. It's very hard to differentiate what's green from yellow, orange from red, brown from black, orange from brown & orange from green.
Suggestion: Green to blue or, yellow to blue.
Black with underline.
Orange with ! In front of module name.
Brown with asterisk in front of module name.
Plus I think it would add a bit more differential depth to the list, and decrease some potentially unnecessary confusion.
XLED works except for flashing while screen is on, which I think that's Samsung's fault.

Yeah, I was using Light Manager from the Play Store and it just refuses to work properly on lollipop. I use it religiously so I know at work to differentiate who has texted and called, etc. So relieved that xposed is working now.
And. Could anyone be so kind as to tell me what color Wanam is? It's functionality?

think of wanam as gravitybox for samsung touchwiz. it's a complex module, meaning it has a lot of functionality in 1 mod, that is able to change a lot of system stuff.
it's probably orange because some of the modifications may work on lollipop but others won't.

also, i had a module break xposed. literally. the modifications i had before were nullified by a module called AOSP Signal Icons (i really want that ongoing 4g icon gone lmao, i got desperate)

Yeah, I can't tell the colors apart. Colorblind and it sucks when I have to do a task that involves colors. But I love Wanam. I actually prefer a stock ROM with Wanam and a few other modules. Xposed makes any stock rom custom in just a few clicks. Or in this case, a few clicks and a flash.

How to enable SystemUI Tuner in stock B15 Nougat (root not required)

Hey everybody...in case you'd like to access the SystemUI Tuner, you can do so by creating a shortcut to activity "SystemUI/.DemoMode" (see screenshot attached).
Activity launch widgets can be added in numerous ways but the easiest in my view is with Nova Launcher, which allows you to add a widget pointing to any activity (add widget --> Nova Launcher --> Activities)
Unfortunately, the Tuner isn't fully functioned insofar as the NFC icon and clock is concerned (you can't remove the AM/PM but you can add seconds or remove the clock totally from the Status Bar). Also, the carrier label cannot be removed in this way...and the "Other" section's option to "Enable split-screen swipe-up gesture" seems to be ineffective, I'm guessing because we don't have on-screen buttons.
I hope this helps! I didn't see any other mentions of this but if this is duplicate information please let me know...props to the creator of the following Youtube vid which is where I found this trick:
Tried it, and you're right. I was able to get the SystemUI Tuner to come up. Played with it a bit and really get the impression we're not missing much having it disabled.

Yeah...Agreed...Its not the most useful thing. Though I do like that it allows the removal of the alarm icon and the headset icon...Those both seem kind of superfluous to me in most cases.

Haha, so true.
Phone: "You have headphones plugged in"
Me (with headphones in my ears): "No kidding, Phone. Thanks for the heads up."
I just got the phone yesterday and updated to the latest version. How do I access the System UI Tuner? I pulled down notifications and help the settings button. It rolled, but I don't see anything new in the settings menu.
EDIT: Based on reading first post again, I need shortut as the std way doesn't work.
This trick also works, just need Nova Launcher
There is also a small app in the playstore called "activity launcher". No need for nova launcher if you don't use it.

(ROOT) Disable Navbar

Hey, since I bought my Pixel 2 Xl, I saw on videos those nav bar burn in and so I've tried both immersive and Tulsadiver Mod, Navbar Gone with Swipe Navigation with Edge Gesture. Immersive is good but it doesn't get rid of the nav bar completely and everytime I Swipe up Navbar gets up so i discarded the Immersive mode.
Then i tried Navbar gone, it worked great until some apps like Google photos crashed randomly. I checked if it was anything installed on my phone but i did a factory image reset and install just Magisk and the mod and it when crashing again.
Looking at my old devices (Nexus 5) and tried to use what i did use back in the day to remove my navbar to use pie and boom! It worked flawless and no crashing with any app. Obviously you need ROOT.
I only tested on stock ROM**
I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING YOU DO WRONG, ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR DATA
REMEMBER TO DOWNLOAD SOME NAVIGATION APP BEFORE DOING THIS.
[YOU NEED ROOT]
1.Download a Build.Promp Editor /I used https://goo.gl/jXvZSu
2. Grant root access and press the edit button
3. Go to the last line press enter (Wich will create a new line)
4. Add this on a new line: "qemu.hw.mainkeys = 1" (without the quotes)
5. Save and reboot.
I'd hope I've helped someone
This isn't really new but I'm sure your post will be helpful to some, nonetheless.
One thing I want to stress is that it is crucial to download and setup an app like Pie Control (Play Store link), Unique Controls (Play Store link), or Gesture Control (Play Store link) prior to disabling your nav bar. Otherwise you'll have no way to navigate around, making downloading and installing one of these nav bar apps after the fact, extremely difficult.

It should work on any ROM. I've personally used this method to disable nav bar on stock as well as Lineage OS, with no issues. Carbon should be fine too.
If you want to do this system-lessly, my magisk module does same thing.

You guys Dan also try the "custom navigation bar" app which will allow you to select invisible icons. Not a perfect solution but it works well.
Very tks
To add my five cents:
Been using Fluid Navigation Gestures application for a while. With the last update before public release it became mature enough to recommend it.
You can disable navbar / it has various options. Try it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fb.fluid

doesnt work!!
im on the latest version of stock pie, rooted with magisk.
This just doesnt work for me at all.
Ive tried using a build.prop editor
Ive tried adding it using adb shell, to see if it made a difference.
NOTHING WORKS!!
The magisk module doesnt work.
Any ideas as to why? I dont want to install another 3rd party app.
Ive always just added the build.prop setting, and used pie control from the play store.
HELP!!
(on a funnier note, i just realized that the last time i edited my profile i was using the HD2 as my daily driver)

I had found this sometime ago and couldnt find it again. just found and implemented it.
while this doesnt completely disable it, its definitely better than having the navbar always present. Works with Android P.
it also has instructions on how to hide the status bar, as well.

Pixel Mods - Hide Apps from the Pixel Launcher! [XPOSED]

[XPOSED] PIXEL MODS
Pixel Mods is a new module that let you to finally tidy up your messy launcher with style! Long click on the home screen to access its main interface and you will be able to hide the apps you want to (3 apps can be hidden for free, then paying a small amount gives you access to everything).
It also has this functions:
- Enable debug flags in the launcher
All changes happens instantaneously, you won't even notice them!
You need to make a small in-app purchase to unlock all the functions.
FAQ:
Which Pixel Launcher versions are supported?
You can check in the changelog or directly by opening the main app interface. I won't post the list here because it would surely goes out of sync
What is Xposed, EdXposed and LSPosed? Which one should I use?
I strongly suggest to use LSPosed if you can. It is very well made and directly tested by me, if you have an old device you can use the original XPosed. EdXposed works too.
I beg you to accept my translation!
Sorry but I don't accept community translations anymore!
Available languages:
English
Italian
Screenshots:
You can find them on the store!
Known bugs:
Starting a search in some versions of the launcher brings up the app even if they are hidden. This happens because the search is managed by the Google app itself, I have yet to see if it is even humanly possible to prevent this.
Notes:
The app is also available on the old XPosed repo and the new LSPosed one.
Rootless pixel launcher is NOT supported, and never will be.
I want this feature and also that one! Sure please tell me about it. Anyway I won't give you any ETAs nor I am sure that what you ask will even be possible. I'm already digging to find some way to support icon packs but don't know if I will be able to.

Strange it is my device too! Moreover if it fails to add the menu should show you a notification to continue anyway
Troubleshooting:
- module enabled in lsposed? Pixel launcher selected as a target? Device rebooted?
- nothing works? Please disable all other modules, reboot and then see if it works. If not send me the Xposed logcat. I may also need the full logcat of the device (you can use logcat extreme from play store). PM me for these

Hey man
Sorry for being a little impatient.
Somehow it worked the next day when I rebooted again.
Great work, Thank you so much.
Your mod helped me complete my pixel launcher customization.
Would like to see more features added in the future, like the ones in the 'pixel launcher mods' app for resizing widgets and changing icons. 'Pixel launcher mod' app is very buggy.
Thanks again!

Excellent, it works as intended; no flaws. Some features I would like to see: hide icon labels on the home screen -normally, labels are hidden only in the bottom row-. More grid options for the home screen. And folders to have a solid icon instead of a preview of the icons inside of them. Thanks man and keep up the good work

Thank you very much for that little but very helpful module. That is exactly what I was looking for my OnePlus 7 Pro with pixel experience Rom. I was disappointed that the pixel launcher doesn't offer such a functionality right out of the box. But one thing I noticed: Some apps (installed from the Playstore) aren't listed and therefore can't be hidden. In my case it is Call Recorder Unlock from Skvalex. It features an option to hide it's icon by itself but doesn't work in the pixel launcher. Pixel Mods doesn't show me the app (the Call Recorder itself can be selected, but not the license unlocker) in the list to hide.
I am using Pixel Launcher 825 (11) on OnePlus 7 Pro running Pixel Experience Plus 11.0-20210717-1555-0FFICIAL

Thank you very much for that little but very helpful module. That is exactly what I was looking for my OnePlus 7 Pro with pixel experience Rom. I was disappointed that the pixel launcher doesn't offer such a functionality right out of the box. Now comes to my mind what the problem is. See on Android 10+ it is not possible for apps to hide their icon from the drawer, so if you try to hide it with the call recorder itself it will effectively go away from pmods but not from the launcher. I will take a look at how I can workaround this problem, for now I suggest you too uninstall and reinstall the app and then DON'T use it's option to hide it but directly use pmods

That worked perfectly! Thanks for the quick solution. Yesterday I wrote a review in the Playstore but it seems like it wasn't published / deleted. It's definitely 5 stars worth.
Hey there, Allcast Premium Licence App is not shown in Pixel Mods
Package Name: com.koushikdutta.cast.license

It sounds like you have the same problem I had earlier with the license app. Does this app has a function to hide itself? Because if it can hide it's icon it will hide itself from pixel mods. See the devs answer:

Yeah it sound like this is the same exact problem, but this time the app probably hide itself by default thus making impossible to hide it with pmods. I still have to find a way to reliably fix this but I have some ideas. I hope being able to release an update this or the coming week

it hides from Pixel mods after First Launch of Main App, but If you hide it before it's Not showing up anymore
I get the following error: "This version of the application is not configured for billing through Google Play. Check the help centre for more information."
Edit: Reinstalled and it is now working.
