recovery.img needed

Hello
I have a question to devs:
I have stock rom with system.img, boot.img and recovery.img files.
I want to add root access into the rom, but with kitchen I can add supersu.zip file and do flashable rom zip file for all.
The problem is with no custom recovery on my device - I can flash only via SPD flashtool so I need raw file like system.img , boot.img and recovery.img
Anybody knows how add root and compile system.img with root? so I can flash via SPD flashtool?
I tried add su , superuser.apk and busybox but not works - after reboot I opened supersu app and had binary install error .
PLS Help.
Regards
nalas

You will have to flash an original image of the system partition via odin.
Go find out how to make a custom odin package with a system img that you extract from a stock odin package.

[Q] New Device Need Help with CWM

Okay so I have a tablet that not many have CWM was not supported. a Pyle Astro 7 Tablet
Heres what i did so far.
1. Got Root Access and busybox successfully
2. Backed up Recovery.img System.img kernel.img Boot.img successfully via terminal emulator.
3. Used builder.clockworkmod.com and made CMW recovery for my device by extracting the recovery.fstab and using the stock device recovery.img
4.moved it to device
5. removed the install-recovery.sh
6. couldnt locate any other recovery related .sh or .p files except autorecoveryon.sh and autorecovery.off.sh also removed them for the time being.

Extract system.IMG from your downloaded ROM
After extracting system.IMG install Linux reader (free software google it)
Using Linux reader open IMG file and extract system ui apk and paste it to system/app via any root file manager ....
Else use adb fast boot method to flash system.IMG in fast boot mode ...(this method will unroot your device )
All the best ?

now you have to make an update zip and flash it through CWM/TWRP recovery!
(assuming that your phone has custom recovery installed)

Can't turn WiFi on after flashing.

Hey,
Today I used a ROM to flash my mobile (Samsung J5 2016 edition, model: J510FN) and I just used the perfect ROM, and it fits perfectly. But when I try to turn on WiFi it goes back swipe to off automatically when I swipe it to on.
I used this rom (version v1.1 because v2 and v3 were gone and bad): https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j5/development/rom-light-stock-rom-v1-t3467865
Someone knows what to do? I'm a beginner, so please explain it good. I have everything btw like Odin, TWRP, latest SuperSU, etc.
Please help.
Thanks
From your stock rom Copy the folder named Permissions from /system/etc and paste it at the same location in your new downloaded rom.
DONOT delete the existing folder , just replace the files.
Good Luck Cheers

You mean an img file , right?
If you have twrp or cwm backup of your stock rom , you can extract it from that file(ext4.system.tar.a) , if you dont have a twrp/cwm backup , you can try to flash stock rom from that img file and then copy necessary files into sdcard and then re flash your new rom and paste the existing files.
Good luck/

No, its an md5 file. Inside the md5 file (when I open it with winrar) it only shows hidedcache files etc and also boot.img
I need to have go to the patch (system/etc/permissions

Then you might need to flash your stock rom first and then copy the necessary files.
I have an Mediatek device , steps to troubleshoot are same , but I have a zip of my stock rom created to access stock files when ever i need them.
I would advise you to do the same for future troubleshooting..
Good Luck mate

Permission folder worked for me , but i would insist you to copy the entire /system partition as backup once you have flashed the stock rom just in case.
If permission folder doesnt work , then try replacing files starting with wlan from /system/lib/modules from stock to port
Do only when permissions folder doesnt work.
