[RECOVERY][TWRP][D855] TeamWin Recovery with modem support

Hi guys, this is TWRP for D855 that the great @Dees_Troy builded and the @codefireTeam bumped, slightly modded by me to allow the backup of the modem partition.
The modem backup is important while going from lollipop to kitkat and from kitkat to lollipop since the modem of the two builds are not compatible.
To install just flash the attached zip in recovery or the img file with flashify

install this... reboot recovery... take a full backup and install the rom you like ( lollipop or kitkat) then you can go back with a simple restore without flashng modem.

[Q] How to root Lollipop Mtk6582?

I have a bq Aquaris E5HD with an mtk6582 and it has been upgraded to Lollipop (5.0) but now I don't know how to root it. Anyone know how? And how to port cwm/twrp/philz to it? Thanks in advance.

Use Carliv recovery for Kitkat and then install supersu ZIP from recovery.

I have tried SuperSu 2.46 on Lollipop 5.0 and it works. I used the TWRP recovery from Kitkat. But both the Kitkat phone and Lollipop phone should have same partition tables. If the partitions change (size or number of partitions), then you cannot use the same recovery.

Partitions are the same. I tried to flash Philz's for KK and it worked! Thank you so much, haha.
I have installed xposed, do you know why GravityBox [LP] fc's? Sorry if I bother you, but I don't know why it happens...
Anyway, thanks again!!

I tried installing Xposed and it says that Xposed is not yet compatible with Lollipop 5.0 API. So that could be the reason.

Nope 'cause I've got Xposed Alpha for LP with other modules and they work fine... So I don't know what happens... Tried with factory reset but nothing...

wanted 6.0.1 update root method

can somebody post me a working root method for gt_925f on the 6.0.1 update
I'm interested. My g925f is stock with 6.0.1 beta. Is possible to root flashing TWRP with odin and then flash superSU through recovery?
I'm not sure . I've read a few things in the different s6 edge threads but it's a bit sketchy

Root SM-G925F

I've a little Question.
I want to root my Phone. I've installed latest official Marshmallow update (G925FXXU3DPDP) and don't know what's the way to root. The cf-autoroot from File Chainfire is different from my current Buildnumber.
I saw a Video from "Highonandroid" in that he first flashed the SpaceX Kernel and then the Twrp, does this work?
One more Question: When i flashed Twrp and want to install a 5.1.1 over the Official Marshmallow, do i get a bootloop then?
Sorry for the Questions, but i am new at this and don't want to do anything wrong
Flash twrp as in original android development section. Then flash supersu.zip.
And no 5.1.1 rom on MM booloader.
Sent from my SM-G925F

Doesn't matter if the build numbers aren't exactly the same. As long as your device is g925f zeroltexx the root will work fine.
I have 6.0.1 g925f and i used cf autoroot a few days ago and no issues or errors

Yeah you can use flashify to flash your roms and zips. Make sure you make backups first though of your kernel and recovery. Just incase.

How can I root Hydrogen OS 2/H2OS v2?

I tried flashing the SuperSU 2.78 zip file, but that way the phone wouldn't boot up. Any other alternative way to root without KingRoot?
