Daydream (not VR) doesn't work - no settings. - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

S4 stock, GOF1, 5.0.1
I can't get Daydream to start. It's enabled, and I wait for the screen to sleep. Interestingly, there are no options on the Daydream settings screen. No hamburger, no 3 dots. Only the On toggle in the top right corner. Each Daydream widget has a settings icon (except Colors, of course). I have the lockscreen set as Swipe.
Any ideas?

LiveDisplay Colour Calibration shortcut?

Before updating my phone from 4.4.4 to 5.1.1, I relied on the Screen Filter Xposed Module to dim my screen so my eyes wouldn't be blinded at night. After the update and after looking through ever new little menu and option, I found that the Colour Calibration sliders under the LiveDisplay settings essentially would do what I was using the Screen Filter module for.
Now, it isn't too much of an inconvenience, but it is a bit of an annoyance to have to navigate to that menu whenever I need to dim the screen. The closest I've gotten to making a "shortcut" is by placing the LiveDisplay tile in the app drawer there so I can launch the settings after long-pressing the tile.
My question is this: is there a way to make a widget or shortcut like the one used in the Screen Filter module? In the module, one could add a slider at the top of the notification drawer to quickly and easily dim the screen. Can this be replicated without having to install that module?
Thanks in advance for all your input.

Several requests

I'm running Nougat crDroid with Magisk & TWRP for reference.
Are there things that let me:
Automize Notifications(i.e. dismiss 'Google Play has installed x' notifications after 5 seconds)
Let me swipe away any notification there is
Enable a very slight palm rejection at the edge of the phone(disable every 3rd pixel on the edge from input, for e.g.)
Have systemwide Vibration control(a list of all vibration strengths/patterns for each thing)
Have a Notification Center(similar to iOS, a place to 'store' all your notifications, but an app for e.g.)
Customize the Network & WiFi Statusbar/Shade icons(I don't like how turning off celullar data makes an 'X' appear, for e.g.)
Customize my Statusbar
Have a full screen notification shade(the notification shade isn't fullscreen in landscape)
Have a statusbar at the bottom
Control how the power button locks the phone(I'd prefer to have it lock 2 minutes after turning it off, rather than instantly, but still go to the lock screen.)
Control animations systemwide(turn off/change speed of particular animations)
Have my battery bar below the statusbar
Always have a black Status Bar
Have better control over auto-rotate
Remove the scroll bounce/reflection
Customize the Lock Screen
Customize the Notification Shade
Make the Notification Shade(and notifications in general) more compact
Have better control over when quick settings and the whole notification shade appear when swiping down
Customize CPU clocks and enabled cores using profiles(like SetCPU)
And if there are any other things I can use to customize, or any app lists please tell me(preferably not Xposed).
i haven't read all of your needs nut im pretty much sure that you can find good hope in Tasker

Always on Screen

I have seen in a video of the Find X. The screen can be set to always on like the S8.
But for the life of me I can't find the option. Any hints?
Thanks
Well on the EU versions you can go to Settings> display & brightness > Screen Clock (right below auto screen Off time )
not sure how this is on chinese versions though..
Yes the option is there but it says "Screen clock is disabled when screen-off gestures are turned on"
Maybe it because I turned on double tap to wake hmmmm
Thanks dude
Yep. So it's either double touch to wake or Screen clock. But not both like the S8
Now to sort out how to get the apps in alphabetical order.

SM-F900F - 'Clock Style' Option Missing From Settings

I have an F900F Galaxy Fold running the latest firmware, but in the Settings menu I don't get the 'Clock Style' options so I cannot change the lock style for either the lockscreen or the AoD. The AoD option is present and I can enable/disable it and also change other things. I have tried using NiceLock with the Clockface module, but as opposed to my other Samsung phone (Note 10) it only lets me change the AoD style and not the lockscreen. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks!
Settings lock screen then clock styles that's were it is for me
It finally appeared for me after clearing data and cache for AoD and for Settings app.
Glad it was there for you in end

I hate the toggle switches in the settings menu

I am using OneUI 3, Android 11 on my Samsung s20 Ultra.
I don't know if it is a OneUI thing or Android UI in general, but I dislike the toggle switches in the system settings menu. For instance, you have a notification setting that has a toggle to turn on/off. But there is no indication that you can click on the settings label itself to go one level deeper for more detailed settings. Some labels are written in blue so there is some indication that there are more granular settings to adjust.
Is there a patch, mod of some sort to fix this?
