2G network it too slow on my airtel sim not even able to receive whatsapp messages. It worked fine when I was on custom ROM(s). I even checked with my friends phone, the speed is great on them. I 'm on latest update B360 . 3G and Jio 4G is just working fine. Any idea what might be wrong?
P.S. : I have a job at hilly area where "only" 2G networkis available.

yes they're. Infact I created one manually with apn as "airtelgprs.com" as apn buit still the same issue.

Nothing wrong with signal strength. It's not even working even at my home in city. 3G is working fine though.

No why would I do that? I installed the fresh stock ROM (by pressing the power + vol+ and vol- button simultaneously. )

i dont think i would do anything since you did a three button install. i guess you could factory reset as a final option if no one else can fix it

i use 3g, 2g is too slow and i rarely have poor connection
Have you tried calling your operator? Might be a temporary problem with them.

In Dual SIM settings, make sure that Airtel SIM slot is not selected as 3G / 4G slot?
I'm not sure. Check once.
duple check ur access points or just delete then and request new ! and the other thing is that some operators already stoped supporting 2g , might ur sim card 3g/4G same as my country .

yeh i end up the same with cm9.. and check your serial number if its 00000000 you are in the a.. like me..

Hope it's international version of sgs 3,cos flashing it on other models of sgs3 has caused similar problems to many.

knew it... we are fuucked .... for the moment i am trying to find solution... i flashed everything form stock ics to rooted jelly.. fatoctory reseted like 10 times... wiped no wipe, with no luck at all... guys come up with something..

i remember i solved once an sgs 2 with basically same simptoms,with no power menu,and i solved it with a root explorer changing something in efs/imei, or placing a file there...

when i installed arhd 11.00 i made a backup of my efs in the arome installer .can this help me somehow?
Why don't you guys pm ur problem to developers and ask there help, cos most of them don't look into these q &a section...anyway keep us posted with the developments

Did you flash back to your original rom - the one came with it when you bought your phone. It may help to restore your serial number.

i dont know what was the rom,the phone is from vodafone romania and i bought it from someone sim unlocked...anyway i dont know that rom anymore..

which ROM you have installed...for me when data connection is active on sim2 and when call arises internet gets disconnected and as soon as call disconnected internet connect automatically....

HI,
If you are using the stock ROM, them need to Visit service center for this issue.
Canvas HD charger has issue, It might damaged this functionality.
Try testing your device with factory boot.

Plz plz help me how to make data work in sim 2 because i messed slot 1 and now i cant use data in any custom roms.since in every rom's data connection can only be used in sim 1.is there any way to make slot 2 as main slot and slot 1 as secondary or just help me how to fix that issue...

You set the APN? Activated? I think yes, but... u know... maybe... hahaha
If stuck on this problem, reflash a Stock Image, make a Full Wipe and flash Nightly 6.

Philz touch works. I tried using TWRP but that results in a bootloop

I tried every possible method and recovery but still bootloop but i finally dirty flashed it from cyanogenmod only wipping cache and dalvik and it finally booted. Can someone else confirm this?

Mine finds the router but just won't connect. I've even disabled all security with no luck. The rom is excellent and very smooth, nice job so far

Is wifi hotspot working fine?

In settings ->device there are no "users" option. Also in notification bar when i click on user icon i upper right corner i get message "the contact doesn`t exist".
Is this ok or am I doing something wrong ?
I tried on nameless-5.0-20141128-i9300 and on nameless-5.0-20141117-i9300 but its the same.

I´ve been searching for hours, and a solution was to put the file WCNSS_qcom_wlan_factory_vn on the persist folder, but it didn´t worked for me.
I´ve already rooted and rebooted, and fabric reseted... but nothing...
PS: Before I obtained the cellphone It was from a friend of mine, and It was working well, but after I reseted it, the wifi stopped working
PS2: Sorry If my english is bad, It isnt my native language.

I found that there is no MAC address inmy Wi-fi nor Bluetooth.
So I´ve read that it could be something about the IMEI, because we factory reseted the cellphone and instead of putting my friend´s SIM, I inserted mine.
That´s possible? And if so, do you know if I could fix this? Thank you again.

First of all don't lose hope
Now see if your imei issue is solved
If yes take a backup of efs partition and keep it safe
Now install cm12.1 build by clean installing
And see if it helps

I installed CM12.1 and the issue wasn´t solved... Neither wi-fi or bluetooth.
So I tried CM13, and same.
Any idea? :,0

What's your Mac address .. can you see it ?if it is 02:00:00:00 it's a problem
