Here is the long waited miui rom with some customization. I ported it to our beloved Z3
1) Torch boost
2) Google basic apps added
3)Sony media apps added
4) Xperia bootanimation

NOTE:
1) It's just a test version. I don't have Z3. So people who download the rom, please report back. Thanks!
2) Do a fresh installation.
3) Don't flash supersu - it causes bootloop.
4) Don't flash Xposed - it bricks the phone.
5) If you face bootloop during boot, flash stock ftf through flashtool including only kernel and baseband.
6) I added all google apps except play services [GMS core] since it gave FCs. Install micro GMS - From attatchment.

1) Cyberian camera mod and Pexo mod - Both of them works.

Looking good, so we're not going to have xposed? Since it bricks the phone
D6603 work. The problem with Google Play do not want to install the application, writes the application has been stopped and will not work location, automatic screen rotation.

Flashed and running on my D6603 after quite some time fighting to get my Google Services running (kinda sorta?) properly.
Edit: So after playing around with my phone a bit, Bluetooth ends up force closing when I try to activate it.
Auto rotate is very temperamental acting of its own accord when opening certain apps. (In my experience so far it's been Chrome and XDA)
When restoring my texts/calls it shows up in the default Miui Apps and Hangouts but seemingly won't show up in the google messenger app.

I have the same problem, but i found fix. First you need to choose English language, then finish first setup, and if you need then choose language in settings

Hello everyone, this is a modified version firmeware and worked for me, not ported to any device, not compiled from sources, just did some modifications using styles of New Experience I had ported some time ago, but this is all new, not confuse it with the New Experience, do not confuse it with the original cm10.1 or other type, it is android 2.3.7 (CM7)

this is all fixed, all the same, new interface more like the JB and ICS, and lighter and with more speed tweaks and performance.
Great release! Besides the keyboard, everything runs smooth and fast. I have to change input method to other keyboard cause it's impossible to write sms on the stock one (can't see what i'm typing).
Once again great job, i'm not going to leave this ROM soon.

There's also a issue with the ringtone, rings only once, then sound is muted, i didn't change profiles, but that's not a big trouble, ROM is perfect for everyday use without lot of tweaking... Just one reboot in 5 days.

I install it, and can use the phone, can't start the setup wizard, i do dalvik cache wipe, cache wipe, factory reset and even reinstall it but keeps doing the same. Any ideas?

Yes, but I think battery is good enough, cause even with 2G net-plan on constantly and me playing games in emulators like GBCoid, Drastic, Mupen64, etc,... (constantly non-stop) I got a battery backup that lasted for about 4 hours.

One strange thing about this ROM is that all the pre- installed apps aren't linked to the play store so it's impossible to update them...Why is this? Any solution? I'd like to use this ROM,but I want to be able to update apps as well...

The apps that are pre-installed are likely to be pro versions (paid ones) of the respected app, and the developers of such apps doesn't provide update facility. It's a pretty standard thing, check-it out yourself, buy ZPlayer Pro (Or whatever it is) and then wait for it's update, Google Play will not show you that there is an update nor will the app itself. At least that is the problem I have been facing.

Anyone tried it with locked bootloader?
Since this is cm9 based it should work with Atis patch. I think I will try this rom out and report back about how good this is with stock kernel.
A couple of people asked me for this in my other xposed mod thread. Instead of rolling this function into my HideSimIcon module, I decided to separate them.
This module will hide the signal cluster of any disabled sim card. No reboot needed. It gets hidden on the fly instantly. This module has no configuration, just install, enable, reboot. Works on both kitkat and lollipop.
This can be safely paired with hideSimIcons as well!

The code is specifically for dual sim phones. It might work with another brand of dual sim phone. Couldn't hurt to try.
Doesn't work for me, unfortunately. I have the dual sim Sony Xperia Z3 D6633. I used both ''hide disabled signal clusters & ''hide sim icons'' .
Even after re-flashing, wiping cache and dalvic, neither work...
I can provide photos or an Xposed log should you wish to view it.
Have you installed any hardcoded mods? (mods installed via recovery)

OK I installed that rom. Unfortunately that is a single sim fw with dual sim support hacked in. It's not compatible with this module as it is a non standard implementation specific to that rom.

And if you don't know how to installe it, I suggest the General and Q&A threads. If you are already on 5.1.1 you need to go back to 5.0.2, root, recovery and then use one of the many 5.1.1 zip roms to upgrade. THEN XPOSED.
I'm answering to you because a long time ago someone did the same for me, but don't get me wrong, XDA has all the info you need, IF YOU ARE WILLING TO SEARCH FOR IT.

I like the looks,but 4.4.2 was always unstable for me, i install a couple of apps and suddenly i get a black screen when I try to unlock the phone. Its on just the screen is black, but it isn't this roms fault. Can't wait for the z5s version. 4.4.4 performance + xperia looks, can't get any better than that on our devices

Its ok, but cm11 generally has less battery life than earlier versions, for example ics. But the increase in speed is definitely worth it. I usually disable google services when I am not using them since they seem to dain the battery.

isnt your WhatsApp Viber etc crashing?
whatsapp crashes all the time and a lot of random reboots. but this rom has potential and I would be glad if they will be further developed.

Exactly. I was thinking if we can change the kernel..will it help?
Edit: NOTHING changed with a different Kernel. Looks like there is an issue with the ROM itself.
Anyone knows how to get rid of the WhatsApp Crash issue? Are we supposed to flash a boot.img before flashing the ROM?

every time unfortunately theme has stopped message popups on the screen and even whatsapp crashes unable to use whatsapp on this rom please solve this issue with an update
Plz can someone help fix the issue.. I'm pretty sure we are more than half way there.. Minor bug fixes and we will have a nice stable rom... Plz!
AMAZING rom....got the volumes of sound all correct in-call speaker etc no distortion unnecessary sound effects etc....smooth works wonderfully...lift to wake feature in the custom stock-based roms (from z3 etc) is only missing...using gravity app but would be nice if this was integrated...great great work!!! (tried maybe like 10+ roms all the way from LL to MM to Nougat...this is the best!)
