No, one has to apply to be a device maintainer to make it official. Like Anik do in CyanogenMod.
Basically there are no difference between unofficial and official ROMs apart from the automated nightly builds by the build bot.

Amazing! Thanks

Good to know that we can revert back to kk bootloader,in some phone's downgrading bootloader causes soft/hard brick.
just flashed it, no fm radio and too many blank spot touchscreen area. mainly 20% on the lower part of the screen. often occurs when playing rhythm and tap games that requires multi touch and fast tapping. other than that very satisfying :good: battery is very very nice!
Great job broow, thanks

Flash at your own risk! I am not responsible for anything negative that happens in your life after flashing this!
I will be updating this in a timely fashion, but only until the AOKP team takes over with official builds. As far as I'm concerned, this can already be considered a daily with it's stability, but you know that the team won't be happy until all of the customization options are in place. My builds will basically just show you where they are at
Thanks go out to the AOKP team. They did all of the work! All I did was build it. Be sure to give them thanks!
Here are a couple of screens:

Flash 7.1 gapps. I used OpenGApps nano with no problems.
Reboot and be happy

They are still in beta, so it isn't completely fully featured like the KitKat version. However, there are quite a few options in there now and the team is working a lot on it, so each new update might have 1 or 2 new things to play with.
Well, suddenly the team released an official nightly for Bacon, so as I said in the original post I'm all done here. That was over about as quick as it started . You can find their official builds over at basketbuild. Thanks to those who gave my build a shot, and will a mod please close this thread for me. Hope you all have a great day!

Ok :good:
Hi there!
I wonder what is wrong with this ROM?
Why it has not got any attention?
I found out that it is the only ROM for Moto z2 Play which has stable updates.
https://download.mokeedev.com/albus.html
That may be true, however the if I remember right, the UI doesn't stick with stock android experience, and it also does not work with Verizon. I was unable to get any signal whatsoever, no CDMA, no LTE.

If this comes for J5 2016, I'd definitely try it, looks gorgeous! Great Job!
Excellent job, thank you for your patiente and make our old phones even look better.
Simply speaking, CAF ROMs should be better than AOSP based ones on phones that run on Snapdragon processors.

Except you missed one thing. ArrowOS isn't based on CAF's AOSP, but it only uses CAF hals and stuff, just like most of the other ROMs out there(all of them, you can't boot 99% of devices with qcom soc without a bit of caf in the mix). That CAF you talk about is in roms like paranoid android, which are based on CAF Android tags and not AOSP tags.
