Can I connect 'Steelseries Nimbus' MFI controller to my 'Nvidia Shield Tablet K1'? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello All,
This is my first thread in XDA forum.
Please I need help on one question..
Can I connect my Steelseries Nimbus MFI controller to Nvidia Shield Tablet K1 running Marshmallow 6.0 after rooting.
If yes, will Sixaxis help in configuring the controller or is there any other way for mapping controls.
Currently if I directly pair my controller to the tablet, controls won't work properly (Ex: Cursor always move on the left and using analog stick up direction will always select down and vise-versa).
Thanks in advance for helping me out

Way to send Gamepad controls to PC from Phone?

What i'm trying to do is play PC games on my Nexus 4 over WiFi/3G. Which I can successfully do
The hurdle i'm trying to overcome however is getting my PS3 controller (Paired to my Nexus 4) to act as a gamepad on the PC's side
I can successfully pair the PS3 controller and have it emulate mouse/keyboard inputs which is acceptable for keyboard buttons. But trying to use the right analogue stick as a mouse to look around is hopeless
Is there an app which can send gamepad inputs over the network? That way, I can select 'gamepad' in games and everything should work correctly

Wii U Pro Controller / Bluetooth-4.2+-Problem?

Hi Everybody!
So I was looking for an android mediaplayer (like MiniX NEO X7) and started some researches before buying... after a while I hit the wii u pro controller problem. The controller is available since almost 1 year and since that it's not working on android(?). What I read was problems with
• Android 4.2+ Bluetooth Stack
• Bluetooth PIN
and probably some others.
If I want to play n64 do I need another controller? (I really like that pro controller 8[)
Does anyone here has further information? Will google fix that problem? Is any developer near to getting this thing to work?
regards
hiaws
This may work for you, but you will probably need to attach a bluetooth dongle to your device:

[Q] Android confuses Bluetooth gamepad/controller for mouse - Help

I have a Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 and I recently purchased the Red Samurai/GameStop V2 branded Bluetooth controller and I'm finding that when I connect the controller, a mouse cursor appears on screen that can be semi-controlled via the analog sticks. This essentially causes none of the compatible games for the controller to improperly function. Within my tablets setting menu is an option to change a mouse's cursor speed (something not present on my HTC One, which the controller works perfectly on) and I was wondering if this option could be a factor in the overall problem and if disabling this option is possible. I have spent the past two days trying to remedie this problem and have had no luck so any kind of support would be greatly appreciated.
Also, this being my first post, I apologize in advance if this was posted in the wrong area.

Necroposting, but I figured I'd add to the conversation:
The only gamepad that I've gotten to work with this device (as a gamepad) is the Moga Hero. Connecting was always finicky at best and would require a full reboot, and immediately connect when it powers up. Otherwise it wouldn't pair at all.
I've tried the Red Samurai v2, the Nyko Playpad, and most recently the Mad Catz C.T.R.L.R. Invariably, the mouse mode works and works very well, but the gamepad mode always does what was written above.
In trying the xbox 360 gamepad, it blinks but doesn't connect.
As a lark, I purchased a Asus MeMo 7" HD tablet which has the same MediaTek chipset (8125) and the same exact problem exists with that device too (mouse mode works, no gamepad). Both the Memo and the Lenovo tabs are on the same version of Android (4.2.2) and the same kernel (3.4.5) on the stock rom. I assume it's Mediatek's fault, in which case HID gamepads are a no go on these devices.
Unless someone has other information, which would be much appreciated.
Oh, wanted to add something: when the C.T.R.L.R. connects in gamepad mode, you get only a cursor. When I connect my bluetooth keyboard, the multimedia controls start working. Not sure why that is.

Dual shock 4/ sixaxis to android help. Ps4 second screen

new to the forums, read the sticky, is this the right place?
I'm sure this has been done to death on these forums, or maybe I'm just not reading the right thing, but...
I'm trying to use my Android Tablet to run as a Second Screen on my PS4. I have gotten the app to connect and I can see the Playstation screen on my device, but I cannot get the Dualshock to connect.
I have run the sixaxis app on my PC to change master for the dualshock controller to match the mac address of my tablet, and I think they see eachother, but when it asks me if I want to pair them and I press yes, the controller turns off. EVERY TIME. What am I doing wrong?
I have a rooted Samsung galaxy tab 2 gt-p5113, sixaxis controller app, and the rooted playstation connect apk.

Wireless Controller Options for Pixel

Basically the title. I'm wondering what wireless controller you've guys gotten to work with the Pixel. I don't really won't to get anything expensive because I'm probably won't end up using it much. I wouldn't mind getting one that holds the phone though. I'll mainly be using it for emulators and such.
Also, has anyone successfully gotten the Sony Dualshock 4 controller to work with it? It seems to pair just fine but I can't get any buttons to work with it. It'd be awesome if I could get it work because I already own one.
Thanks in advance friends!
I believe with a PlayStation controller you need a way to map the buttons like Sixaxis Controller (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dancingpixelstudios.sixaxiscontroller).

I haven't tried Sixaxis yet with my Pixel, but it worked pretty well for my previous phone. It does require root.
Good news, I got Sony Playstation DualShock DS3/DS4 controllers to work on Google Pixel.
I have a pixel, rooted, with SixAxis Controller app installed.
Wired USB:
dmesg for ds3/4 show the devices connecting via USB, but does not create a hid/dev input device. sad, this worked perfectly on Galaxy S3 on Cyanogenmod
Wireless (Bluetooth):
- Program the master address using SixPairTool on Windows (use phone's Bluetooth MAC address)
- DS4: pair natively as "Wireless Controller" in Android, holding PS+Share. Buttons will not work at this point.
- DS4: Start SixAxis app, and touch start. it 'just works' now, tested in JohnSNES and DosBox, NO LATENCY! Zelda / CommanderKeen
- DS4: Touchpad/Sticks/Buttons works natively in android, sweet. No need to switch to SixAxis IME
- DS3: No native bluetooth pairing. Start SixAxis app, touch start.
- DS3: Hold PS button to start pairing mode, phone will popup with request (0000/1234)
- DS3: Latency seems good, but didn't play that long (JohnSNES).
- DS3+4: XY/AB buttons seem to be swapped, but easy fix in SixAxis settings.
So ROOT is needed for both controllers and wired support is broken.
I got an ouya controller to work. For what it's worth. Of course I wouldn't recommend spending $50 to get one if you do that have it already
I prefer to use the USB a to c doohickey and plug an Xbox controller right in. Works perfectly. Noted for future research though, thanks.
My SteelSeries XL works very well with my Pixel. It's easily the nicest looking controller I've seen that is meant for use with a phone.
At the moment I am using it with DraStic NDS emulator but it likely to work with any game that supports external controllers.
