Not sure but great prospect. A5100 is more possible because it's not carrier model.

Anyways I have read yesterday that the rollout of the KitKat update for the unbranded D802 will start on March 14th, but can't remember where I did read this.
What software version are you guys on ? mine is D80210b-EUR-XX.
Its a 32gb version sim free.

No mention of information for Europe unbranded devices when receive Kitkat update.
Singapore will receive kitkat update unbranded devices mid-March.

I have the D802 16GB version and have upgraded to the Germany Vodafone KK using the kdz file.... all seems to be working. Will grab the international version when it eventually arrives!

But you won't be able to receive ota is in it so when it does come for UK you have to flash 4.2.2 back to get ota

Hi I am currently using a Samsung A3 2016 (UK version). It's my first Samsung phone ever so I have no idea of Samsung's track record with update rollouts. How long does it usually take for Sumsung to rollout a software release to the European markets? I see that the UAE version has been released 10 days ago and so far there is only one more country version available....

Hi!
Updates are random and unexpected most of the time with Samsung so it's hard to estimate when you'll get your update. Samsung don't usually do a good job of keeping phones up to date with software, so you might expect a update in a week or 2 (or even more) depending on your carrier and how they roll updates out.

Yes, usually a new version is out with a new nexus, the same day.
The new LG isn't out yet, it will be the first to ship with native nougat on board.
So if it's really going to hit our phones today, is the first time the new OS comes out before the phone

Maybe Google learned after the past two years where everything is spoiled weeks prior to the official announcement of the device. Would make sense if we just got the device out thin air.

Yeah, strange this year. I've seen articles saying all indications say it will be an October launch again?
I already have the OTA after doing a manual search for update. It's 49.5MB, coming from DP5.

The only reason I think it's coming sooner is because of the OS release.
Nexus 6 released with 5.0
Nexus 6p released with 6.0
So then why break the tradition? I think I'm right on that by the way.

Yep my battery life has gotten back to normal as well
I came on looking for just this topic. I have the snapdragon version, and while it may have been late in the month, this is the first time they actually have missed a monthly update for me.. Maybe our version is down the pipe soon hopefully..

yes the unlocked devices have it even in canada, and its pure lame why suddenly the april for snapdragon in the USA is VERY LATE. don't waste time calling samsung, they will say something like , it looks like you got the patch, is that why you are asking.
