Installation
Coming from CM 13.0?
We recommend that users wipe when switching to LineageOS, and reinstall their gapps. However, we recognize that this can be time consuming, so we are offering an EXPERIMENTAL (read as, if it fails, you’ll have to wipe anyways) solution.
Alongside the ‘weekly’ release for your supported device, we’ll provide an EXPERIMENTAL data migration build.
This build will allow you to ‘upgrade’ from CM to the signed LineageOS weekly.
This build may wipe permissions (you’ll have to re-allow app permissions), but should retain all user data.
This build will be watermarked with an ugly banner to ensure that you don’t permanently run this EXPERIMENTAL release, and upgrade to a normal weekly after.
The process for this installation will be as follows:
Install EXPERIMENTAL migration build on top of cm-13.0 build
Reboot
Install LineageOS weekly build
Reboot
Re-setup your application permissions
New to LineageOS?
1. Download the ROM zip and move it to your sd-card
2. Reboot into recovery
3. Make a backup
4. Wipe System, Data and Cache
5. Flash the ROM zip
6. Optional: Install Google apps

Q&A
Q: Can I flash this over a CM nightly that I'm already running?
A: Yes!
Q: I don't have root!
A: Okay, stay calm. Root by default is not shipped with the rom. If you want it - you need to flash a zip from here: https://download.lineageos.org/extras (we are an ARM device)
Q: Do I need to flash gapps if I was not using a nightly before?
A: Yes!
Q: Are there any bugs?
A: As of right now, no.
Q: What is the difference between LineageOS and CyanogenMod?
A: This question is a tricky one. Right now there is no real difference. LineageOS is now in the process of rebranding everything. In the future we will start to see features added to the rom.
Q: Are otas available?
A: Yes!

BUGS
None... Otherwise tell me.

Instead of cyanogenmod this rom have any change in graphic o layout? Or it exactly the same of cm? I want to try it! There's any bug on this rom? Thanks mobius! And happy new year!

I think that, currently, it's the same as CM14.1
It will change, however.

There are no bugs, and it is stable.

help i cant access my sd card its says i need a root permission? also i cant install supersu binary always failed even though i reboot my phone, can u help me

Good job! It would be great if the added functions 13 cm, such as "Coffee" and others. It is also not enough full interface translation, and here and there were traces of CyanogenMod. And so everything works smoothly, thank you. P.S. later I will throw off $2

Downloading latest nightly, would give a try after backup right now updated RR Nougat ROM Also happy New Year to all of you

On baseband it says unknown and also i dont see the themes : But its really stable and since now no problems at all.

Nope ! I did a full wipe and after installing the Rom and the pico gapp I rebooted the device. Got a message "upgrading android" and after 3 of ... it strated to reboot again and again. I let it reboot for 21 times till I decided to kill it and put back V2 of your ROM
Unless this ROM includes the CM12 firmware upgrade, maybe you should link it to them as an one-time upgrade as long as they stay on CM12 based ROMs.
EDIT: yep it boots up well with the cm12 firmware upgrade by martin_ro.

Tired of answering the same questions write some basic information you should know before you install this rom:
# I am the author of this rom for LG G3 and any errors proposals for amendments please report to me (not on the PW)
# I'm just Maintainer LG G3 and have access only to modify the repo related LG G3 ( device, kernel, and vendor) I do not have permission to modify the files associated with the system and I can only suggest changes to my colleagues from the team, so please do not expect change associated with the system.
# Please do not download this version rom that is not approved in the thread, although it already appears on the server, it is likely that the rom was not sent yet in full, or has an error.
FAQ
Q: Is the upgrade rom to a newer version can be done with so-called "Dirty flash "?
A: The answer is always the same, I do not recommend this, you can do so but then please do not report any errors.
P: Application SuperSU tells me to update the binary, what to do ???
A: Application of super-su is just to get the user to install super-su without downloading anything, I recommend the use of the built-in Super User available in developer options.
Q: AdAway can not install the host file what to do ;___; ! ??!?!
A: Uninstall AdAway and install the latest version manually.
Q: Can I install other gapps than recommended pico ???
A: Yes, I'm testing new versions always with gapps pico and I confirm working, other versions can cause all sorts of errors / bugs.
Q: Does rom contains pixel launcher?
A: No. You can install it from the store play.
Q: How can I repay you for his work on this project?
A: Click Thanks button or buy me a beer in the real world through Donation (see link at the bottom of the # 1 post)
Q: How update from older version of XenonHD.
A: If you only update from old version xenonhd to new, full wipe is recomendet, but you also wipe only cache and dalvic cache.
Q: Every time I flash a XenonHD rom in TWRP it stops and shows error 7, what to do ?
A: Flash modem v21c before rom, and next time read all first post

Will you support other variants on the future, like what the past XenonHD maintainer did? It would be cool if you do.
I am still using XenonHD 6.0 for my D850 and would to try these builds as well, so, hopefully, you'll consider maintaining for other variants as well.
Thanks for the work :good:

Im gonna install it now. very excited. really like TeamHorizon's work. How can I donate?
Ahh, D855 is lucky. Hopefully, we see this wonderful rom again for all variants.

I dont like too much apps from google in rom, so I dont plan to include it. Less is more
If you want you can install it on this rom, there is fiew tutorial how to do it
Flashed and runs fine. No issues. A little sparse on features yet, but it is an early build. When it's got more quick settings, lockscreen config and ancient display, it will be a good practical rom.

Is this a common issue for TMobile in the US as well? Because I can't get VOLTE to work on any 8.0 rom which I need to make and receive calls (at home at least) on T-Mobile.

I'm not charging for updating, I just wanted to say how much ROM this is being useful to me, very good indeed, I'm looking forward to getting the next update on hand since this one is working better than many 7.1.2 considered stable. thank you.

DOWNLOAD ROM
DOWNLOAD TWRP
DOWNLOAD FIRMWARE 20s
DOWNLOAD GAPPS
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip
2) Boot into Recovery
2a) Flash firmware 20s if you dont have it
2b) Flash the latest TWRP [13/04 or newer] and reboot to recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash gapps
6) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
ROM uses Blackscreen kernel
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES
You tell me the bugs
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

Guide for the best battery life:
1. Install Greenify and enable it for all apps (this is the best option, but if you want notifications to come up without delay just don't apply it to app)
2. Open Developer options and disable logging
3. Install forcedoze app and configure it
4. Try not to use the highest brightness settings ;p
5. Youtube loves battery juice so better don't watch it frequently
6. Enjoy best battery life
Guide for the best performance:
1. Install Blackscreen kernel
2. Change governor to wheatley (OFC you can use other governors, for me Interactive gets the job done)
3. Open Developer options and disable logging
4. Make throttling temperature higher so that CPU won't drop mhz
5. Enjoy the best performance
If you want to report bug better bring logcat with you
When there is no OTA just don't scream I have private life too Ota can be canceled becouse of various reasons

i have the same problem now and then, but when i clean cache and dalvik the problem stops.
If for any reason i must go to recovery again, everytime i reboot to system returns to recovery again after 2 or 3 minutes after restart. i wipe the dalvik and the cache again and then returns to normal..... very strange.
BTW, is possible to change the lock screen watch font ??
regards to all

Put my 3.3.1-1 TWRP and make clean flash.
Wipe all partitions except internal storage and flash again. Vanilla goes with flamme Gapps .. should be fine after this..
Or flash Gapps build and forget Gapps..
Clock inside LegionSettings lock screen
