I do not understand that it works with you, because if you read this post that dates from the 23rd March 2016 : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65859858&postcount=2
it has the same number and the band 20 does not work.
Is on your screenshots I do not recognize MIUI

TMC Works with Sygic Mobile Maps ver. 8.24 on htc-rose

Owners of WM devices can use HyperGPS - they turn the FM tuner in TMC receiver. More info about HyperGPS found here .
In the menu must be visible icon "Traffic". This is done by editing Menu.ini, which is located in your folder Drive (\Storage Card\Drive\WindowsMobile\Menu.ini). You search for the "menu.main.traffic". If it is at zero, rewrite her on one. If an item is missing, adds the following lines:
[menu.main]
menu.main.traffic=1
Then start Sygic and go to Settings\GPS Hardware\Guide. Set your GPS and then the TMC. Now go to the traffic menu and start using it
I attach a few screenshots.
sounds really good.
But I have a question...Appart from editing the "Menu.ini" which version of HyperGPS should we install?

ok..I did that but I have a few problems..
1)I'm not sure how to configure HyperGPS (COMport number,data output and protocol)
2)I cant find the test option to test it
3)I have sygic v8.14,is it ok?
4)I have 2 versions of menu.ini , none of them has the option "[menu.main]
menu.main.traffic=1"...which one should I keep?

5)I have checked in both versions (8.14 and 8.24) but there is no "guide" option in Settings\GPS Hardware\ there is only COMport,BaundRate,turn GPS off,Synchronize time and Autodetect.
UPDATE
1.I installed v8.24
2.crucial step!
edited the .mlm file:

-I just don't know which protocol to chose in HyperGPS and which in Sygic.
-Also I have no idea which port to chose in HyperGPS(the one that my GPS uses?Or one that is free?)
-Last,I don't know which option of data output should I use...TMC?or GPS+TMC?

[Q] EAP-SIM authentication on Android

Does anyone know if EAP-SIM is coming in Android 3.0, already there but hidden, or simply not possible?
I saw in the link below an unsubstantiated claim that the Galaxy S supports EAP-SIM, so I wonder whether that is in the OS or if Samsung added support...
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=9329
Cheers peeps.
-M
PS I noticed a 6-year old thread asking a related question, but thought an Android-specific discussion might be more relevant.
maybe up to the OEM?
A bit of reading here https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_external_wpa_supplicant/blob/froyo/defconfig seems to indicate the possibility that it might be possible to enable EAP-SIM in the hostapd build.
Might be a red herring, of course...
Worked on HTC Desire
Hi guys,
I made it work without any strong modifications on my Desire/Bravo HTC stock Gingerbread (2.3.3) (but rooted).
Maybe it could work on other android phones.
0) deactivate/turn off wifi
1) as root you have to make the modification in /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf to add Freewifi_secure parameters.
network={
ssid="FreeWifi_secure"
key_mgmt=WPA-EAP IEEE8021X
eap=SIM
priority=8
}
2) Then you have to go to Parameters (Paramètres) -> Security (Sécurité) -> Set password in section credential storage (Définir le mot de passe dans la section stockage des identifiants) and define a password.
3) Make sure you have also check/activate the "Use secure credentials" ("Utiliser des identifiants sécurisés")
Then
4) activate wifi
5) choose to connect to Freewifi_secure (it won't connect to Freewifi_secure right now)
6) Then Add a Wi-Fi network, call it whatever you want but choose under Security: 802.1x Enterprise
7) the phone will then ask for your credential, the password you define in step 2)
8) Don't save the Wi-fi network and Cancel it
Et voilà: you can now connect to Freewifi_secure \o/
-> With further test, it seems that step 6 and 7 are to be done every time you reboot your phone.
-> For the explanation and upon my opinion, since you can't create Freewifi_secure through the GUI, the phone don't "activate" the
"use of secure credentials" (seems to be needed to use EAP SIM). And when you are creating a dummy Wifi_network that is
a 802.1x one, the phone open the access for all wifi networks to the secure credentials.
cheers,
F.

Try looking at the root procedure they are working on for the LG optimus p700, the issue you are getting looks similar to that,a chap has developed a exploit which works using a timing issue, it may well work for this phone !
Already posted about this in another thread a minute ago: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32383822&postcount=14
As it says on the first post of that thread the method for placing the local.prop file has been identified and patched so from Android 4.0.4 it should no longer be present. I came across Engineer Mode and found there is a way to run shell commands from there so used that to place the file.

Try superoneclick
Same problem :
Blocked at first step : mv /data/local/tmp ...

Do you have some idea to solve the problem ?
Is it normal that I can't use OTG with this version ?

Okay from what i gather and i might be wrong since im no android expert that your unable to push any files to the phone because of permission denied. In this case you can try this method here which works for most android 4.0.4 devices and may also work for you since you manually place the files on your phone first then root the phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1978963
Something else i couldnt help but notice is that your phone was made in july and has android 4.0.9 version while my phone was made august 29th and has android version 4.0.4 LOL Screwy Android!
Good Luck!
Thanks for answer.
I've tried this solution ... it's not working, the problem is the same than with other tries : it isn't possible to access to the device in a shell with RW right. So every operations over filesystem (pull, push, mkdir, rm, mv, even ls) cannot be done and abort with "Permission denied" error.
I read some documentation about ADB but don't understand how I can access with "write" right on my phone.
Does someone have a suggestion ?

My problem is still not solved. Does somebody else have a solution ?

Fake GPS location problems.

Hi, so sometimes i use the app called Fake GPS location that spoofs your real location.
But then one day i couldn't get my default location back that is calculated trough cellular tower and is shown trough other apps (Weather, Foursquare etc.)
I tried deleting data/cache to Fake GPS location and Google Maps even tried deleting Dalvik cache to no avail.
So does anyone have any solution to this thing please?

Already have this app and tried reseting and then redownloading A-GPS data then reset my phone but still shows that fake location.
Do you think this is the problem with A-GPS data ?
Where the heck is even location data like for spoofing location stored in Android ?
I have no problem with the location sets, but i've another problem..
I use samsung galaxy mega 6.3 lte...my device keep turn on gps itself even i've already disable it on location svc setting on my device when i turn on wifi or mobile data..any chance to disable it or prevent it from auto run/run by itself?
I am with the same problem...
Followed this tutorial (http://windowspcguide.com/play-poke...-ios-iphone-ipad/comment-page-3/#comment-7144) and now I can't go back...
Someone could help me please?
Same problem here. Now fixed on Android.
Go to Settings > About the phone, then tap SEVEN times on "Compilation Number". Now you are in "Developer Mode". Go to Settings > Dev Options. Look for GPS "locations" and deselect "test/fake locations". That's it.
Friends this will work... First go to google maps then go to "you are place" option and in top right u have settings symbol.u will have " delete all locations history" select that and u will get u r original gps... Thank you...
Can anyone tell me which phns support fake GPS?
I never had an issue like that with this app bit.ly/gpsfaker It is the easiest app i've found out there to fake gps locations or routes.

[ROOT] (NEED MOVING, ADMINS) C6 Clone (MT6580, Android 5.1)

Hello people. After a long time searching and trying, I finally get this model rooted. The problem was, basicly, the bootloader. After unlock it, I was able to root the device. I'll tell you the steps, but be warned:
UNLOCK BOOT LOADER IS RICKY, AND YOU MAY KILL THIS DEVICE. FOR NOW WE DON'T HAVE ANY ROM FOR DOWNLOAD, SO WE CAN'T UNBRICK IT WITH SP FLASH TOOLS.
YOU MAY LOOSE ALL YOUR DATA AFTER BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED!! TAKE A BACKUP!!
ME AND/OR XDA CANNOT BE RESPONSABLE FOR ANY BRICK TO YOUR DEVICE.
YOUR ARRANTY WILL BE VOID.
THIS METHOD IS SOMEHOW FAIL. MAYBE YOU MAY HAVE TO DO IT AFTER A RESTART.
YOU WAS WARNED!!
This sayed, you will need the USB drivers, adb, fastboot. I made the hardwork for you, and the files I used are attached bellow. Unpack it to a folder, let's use C:\C6 to be easyer. You need also Kingo Root For PC (not King Root), you can download from https://www.kingoapp.com/. Install it, but don't run. Make sure you have enought battery, as the process can take a long time (for me, all procedures taked 30 eternal and nervous minutes). The process I made was on Windows 10 64bits, so, some steps maybe differ if you use a different system.
Once prepared, let's go again.
Phase 1: Preparing the field:
Set screen timeout to 30min, and remove any PIN, password or secure lock screen settings.
If USB Debug is disable, you must go to Settings > About Phone > Tap Build Number until "You are a developer" appears.
Now, go Settings > Developer Options > Check USB Debugging. Accept the warning.
Now, go Settings > Security > Check OEM Unlocking. Accept the warning.
Now, connect the phone with PC
It will install the drivers. If it don't install, go to Device Manager, look for "Android MT65XX" or something similar, and update the drivers with the ones I give to you. FOR NOW ON, DON'T REMOVE THE CABLE FROM PHONE OR PC.
If all are correct, the phone will ask for a confirmation after installing the drivers. Check "Always allow", and tap OK. To re-confirm everything is ok, open a command prompt as administrator, and type the following commands (remember to hit ENTER on PC keyboard for each command for now on):
Code:
cd\c6
cd "adb fastboot"
adb devices
You MUST see something like:
Code:
List of devices attached
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX device
Where 'X' is the device serial number. If you don't see this, the drivers don't work for your device. You must search and find another somewhere. If everything is correct, keep fingers of one hand crossed and let's continue.
Phase 2: Unlock the bootloader:
In the same command prompt, type the following:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
The phone will reboot, more drivers are installed, and you are presented with a black screen with "FASTBOOT mode" at bottom. To test if the drivers are ok, type:
Code:
fastboot devices
You MUST see something like this:
Code:
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX fastboot
Again, if you don't see, you must browse internet and find the drivers. If everithing is OK, type:
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
Go to the phone, you will see a warning. Accept it by hiting VOL+ key. The phone will change the screen, and your command prompt will confirm the unlock. CHECK TO SEE THE CONFIRMATION. Now, type:
Code:
fastboot reboot
The phone will reboot again, will appear "Erase data" (you lost your data here), and reboot again, new as hard reset. Let's confirm it is unlocked. Repeat the steps 1 to 3 from phase 1, and type:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
Wait for the phone's black screen and type:
Code:
fastboot getvar all
In the results, search for "(bootloader) unlocked: yes". If you not find, or appears "no", stop reading now, and don't try anything else: this tutorial will not help you.
If you find, congratulations! You can now uncross your fingers and go to final phase! First, we need to reboot again. Type:
Code:
fastboot reboot
And wait the phone bootup.
Phase 3: Root!
Open Kingo Root as administrator
UNCKED install suggested apps
Click "ROOT"
Some seconds after, the phone will present a "Kingo Link" error. Just tap ok, and you can now go drink coffee or watter if your prefer. It will take a time, don't touch the phone.
If everything was OK, Kingo Root will present "Root Success" both on phone and PC. On the PC, you have a donate button. Why not?
Well, thats it. You can now disconnect your phone, close command prompt and use your root powers, but be warned: DON'T MESS WITH SYSTEM TOO MUCH, AS WE DON'T HAVE A ROM DOWNLOAD FOR NOW. UNINSTALL OR INTEGRATE MAY BE RISCKY, AS WELL DELETING FILES.
OBS.: Don't get fired, configure on the alarm NOW!
Don't forget to hit thanks if I help you.
MODS: Move this topic to the right section, please!
After root, I freezed the following, without any issues until now:

Obrigada.
