Follow his guide. i was able to get volte with it. It is superb.
1. Flash miui 6.11.3 and wait till it boots. Use volte on both sims.
2. Backup efs.
3. Flash cm14 by abhishek
4. Flash cm14 firmware by abhishek.
5. Flash volte V2 files by sudeep
6. reboot and call someone using volte.
7. If it works then good, if not then restore efs and call again.
Note: There wont be any signs of volte. You will only confirm by calling someone.
After you get volte on abhisheks rom, reboot to twrp and flash your desired rom.
Then flash volt V2 zip
then flash other files you want to flash
Note: Do not flash any firmware after this.

Let me know if someone is unable to flash or has any other issues/bugs
Here are few Screenshots
Guys can anyone test and update here.
I found an issue while receiving calls, the network drops and call gets disconnected
Outgoing calls work Like a charm as I only tested this ROM for outgoing calls. Had been on outgoing calls for hours on this ROM but didn't realized the incoming call issue.
Thnx
EDIT
Plz give full permissions to Telephone app. this will fix the incoming call error
Enjoy

Hi Mohammed
great work with this rom,
just need some clarification, will this ROM work for innjoo fire (standard)?
16GB onboard and dual sim
seems this phone is labelled differently in different countries, even through specs identical
here in RSA its labelled innoo fire, but outside it seems identical to i2S
is it safe to flash this Rom? have you tried this before?

I cannot say it surely coz innjoo is selling fire devices in middle east as well
If u wanna try it, use the recoveries available for i2 (twrp & philz)
If the device boots up then you are good to go
Remember that all ur data will be lost when u wipe ur device to flash any new rom and wrong roms or recoveries may result in dead devices
Only way out will to to flash the stock rom using SP Flash tool (if it's a soft brick)
You are doing all this at your own risk
Best of luck

thanks for the Advice mohammed,
Im still trying to confirm its the same device, by getting you CPUZ info before I try anything,
I would rather be cautious and get you the correct info to advise me if its safe to proceed or not.
Hi Mohammed,
I have attached below the screenshots of my phone specs,
please advise if this will work for me, before I give it a try and brick my phone inadvertently
.
Will it work for i2s

Hasn't been tested in i2s, technically it should work but please make a backup of ur existing ROM before u flash as some users has trouble with other i2 custom ROMs on i2s
Best of luck

The Chipset is different in your device (MT6582 - Quadcore) than the one in i2 (MT6592 - Octacore)
I2 has only 1GB RAm, ur device has 2GB
i2 has HD screen (720p) urs is lower resolution
so there is a big chance this will not work
I don't have that device so can port it either
Should I report my stock and the rr ROM newly since I have a i2s

If u mean u can flash it on i2s, u can if u have a twrp or Philz recovery working for ur device
I would recommended to backup ur current ROM using the backup feature of these recoveries and then flash
Remembered you are doing it on your own risk

How to enable VoLTE on AICP 11, MM ROM for Kenzo - please help.

Hello there everyone. I'm on AICP 11 MM ROM with quite an old build, 17th of September.
For now, everything is going really super smooth with my ROM and all setup and configuration.
Also, my app list is quite lengthy (312 installed apps) so I dn't really want to start from scratch.
.
Is there any way I can enable native VoLTE (calling from dialer with Jio SIM in India) without changing ROMs or shifting to Nougat?
Maybe somethiing like flashing a specific Firmware or modem version which has been CONFIRMED to enable VoLTE or something?
Anything that works . . .
.
I searched quite a lot in xda before posting, but wasn't able to find much that would work for me. Any suggestions?
.
Also, I'm posting a screenshot of my current system details. Please let me know if some specific baseband version has seen VoLTE as CONFIRMED working. There you go -

If you want VOLTE on marshmallow you have to use MIUI.
You can try your luck with this patches for Cm13 on this thread

Tried with these patches, but don't work in AICP, maybe because they're CM13-specific.
Any other way to make it work on AICP itself?

Yesterday I installed TWRP without the lazyflasher firmware- my Redmi note 4 stopped booting right after that. Someone named 'SEVENLIFE' helped me to get this fixed. As soon as I installed the LazyFlasher the phone started booting fine.
I just dont want to end up in a no boot or brick situation
lazyflasher is needed only if you use MIUI, no need in AOSP ROM's.

Hello,
I must thank you for all the posts you make, they do help alot, you helped with my issues with freezing video recording, I began to loose hope to fix it, THANKS .
Can I ask you, if there are any requirements for vendor to be flashed with a success? I'm asking because I tried to flash vendor few weeks ago, and I soft bricked my device, what I did was I installed vendor 12.0.1.0, on Redmi 9 (EU one). Flashing was done while having custom rom on the device. From what I understand, vendor should flash onto any rom (Could you please correct me if I'm wrong? Thank you. )
my FAILED flashing process was: Stock Global 12.0.2.0 -> TWRP -> Custom Rom -*> Vendor 12.0.1.0 which bricked my device (had full backup from stock, so nothing scarry happened ). Was it because I tried to downgrade, and anti-rollback mechanism caused a bootloop (had to use SP flash tool to unbrick)?
Maybe that it'll help someone not to make a mistake I did .
I thought I'd share how camera got fixed for me, because I saw people ask about it, but no solution.
!!
I was fiddling with vendor images, because of camera recording was not working for me on any custom rom, and I think the issue, is, that my Redmi 9 is galahad, EU that came with EU 12.0.1.0, not Lancelot Global 12.0.1.0. I had to flash 12.0.1.0 GLOBAL (I clean flashed stock GLOBAL rom before the custom rom) to fix camera issues, NOT the 12.0.1.0 EEAGLOBAL (EU)
!!
flashing GLOBAL 12.0.1.0 onto EU Redmi 9 solved my video recording issues:
probably an overkill, but thats what Ive done
(wipe dalvik, data, internal, cache) -> Flash Redmi 9 Global V12.0.1.0.QJCMIXM (I did it through TWRP) -> (format data, wipe all again) -> Install Pixel experience official, but this time with video recording functional.
VIDEO RECORDING DID NOT WORK FOR ME WHEN EEAGLOBAL V12.0.1.0 (EU) was used. And I suspect, that this is the core issue, of why some people are having issues with camera and some don't.
So:
flash Global 12.0.1.0 and you'll be happy. (I only mention ROM, because that worked for me, I've no experience with vendor images). Sorry for the long post, hope it helps someone.

And from where you find v12.0.1.0 vendor which is cause for soft break your device...link plz
Sorry, my intention wasn't to discredit you by any means, I took vendor from https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/vendor/lancelot/ when I played with it, Im quite sure, that my lack of knowledge was the cause of brick, maybe I wasn't clear enough on that. just wanted to get some more info on subject, so that I, and possibly others could avoid that step in the future. If we won't share such stories, there won't be much progress. My understanding, that the more stories there is, successes and fails, the more we know of what to do and how to do it.
As for the part about cam recording, there is so little info on it, I wanted to share that 12.0.1.0 EU is not the same as 12.0.1.0 GLOBAL, (which I discovered by trial and error, yesterday just before I wrote that post, got a little carried out by it, managed to fix something that was not functional for a long time) and seen others asking about freezing cam recording also. I think they might have been trying wrong 12.0.1.0
Again sory, my intention was only to share my part of the story, and ask you nicely about your opinion on possible cause, because if it happened once, it can happen again, if I won't know why it happened. It didn't even crossed my mind, that you could take it as an offence. I hope therell be no hard feelings.

Yes, recording started to work correctly, after i installed 12.0.1.0 global ROM on eu redmi 9, before custom ROM.
Thanks, bro. I have on miui 12.0.3.0 global did not work (freeze) video recording on custom kernels, thanks to your vendor everything worked.
