I am currently using NOS rom and The Strix firmware mentioned in the official LOS 14.1 thread. But I am having various signal problems with the firmware and any other firmware does not work with nougat roms.
So, I just want to flash the rom so as to have the latest firmware and a marshmallow bootloader and be able to flash Nougat roms without any hiccups..!
Can anyone help me?
P.S i think that I have to simply flash the rom with supersu and lazy patcher in the twrp recovery, after clearing the data. But, I am not sure.

You flash the latest global dev rom in fastboot, using Miflash.
Hi friends,I have kenzo and I'm using MIUI 9 ported but when I tried to install Oreo ROMs i faced with touch problem ,booted but touch isn't working anywhere.

I have fixed the lcd panel some time back n now i can't update tha rom because after updating touch stops any solution?

After replacing the touch panel, touch is only working in MIUI ROMs (Global stable and developer). Other then MIUI ROMs touch is not working in custom recoveries and custom ROMs. I am using OTG mouse to flash custom ROM via TWRP. I already tried Nitrogen OS (Oreo), Lineage OS 15, Lineage OS 14.1, Pixel Experience 8.1 and ResurrectionRemix 5.8.X but in none of those ROMs touch is working. I tried AGNi 11.6 with those ROMs but still no luck. Which Version of Agni Kernel you used ?

Problem
I purchased a new redmi note 4 with MIUI 8.5.8.0 (snapdragon) on mid of last month and 5 days before I unlocked the bootloader and flashed Latest TWRP (official) and I tried few custom roms that are available in our forums but the problem is when I am at first boot VoLTE works if I do a reboot VoLTE icon gone and VoLTE fails to work. I tried to flash CM14.1 firmwork + custom rom + gapps but the problem is same
*so I decided to flash stock rom using Mi flash tool in this case VoLTE works
*tried all MIUI custom roms like ( global stable, global dev, mi-globe rom, indonetia MIUIpro rom, multi rom) VoLTE works in all this MIUI roms without any issues
*but when i flash any custom roms like (RR, AICP, CrDroid,AOSP EXT, linage14.1, xenonHD, viper os etc) volte fail to work
*I flashed each and every custom rom with CM14.1 firmwork + rom+ gapps & w/o cm14.1 firmwork also but no VoLTE
please guys help me from this issue

I dunno why, it's seems fine to me. Am running unofficial RR build by Alexis.
Did you try flashing firmware?
Did you try apn adding method?

Try this....
Go to settings- apps
Select the settings application
Clear cache
Restart
It worked for me on AOSP 7.1.2

Looks like it, Volte doesn't works if you're on Roaming. I read this several times on different Roms threads. It is bug I guess.

Ofc, it's a bug on Custom Roms.
@sachin n i am running rr by alexey too . I too have a roaming sim @Annabathina . My service provider is jio . I too had no volte issue when i Flashed the rr rom but then just adding a new apn with "bearer as LTE " solved the issue . Just reboot once after changing apn .

steps
1. Go to settings > sim cards > jio settings > preferred nework type and set it to LTE
2. Go to settings > sim cards > jio settings > Access point name ( APN) and creat a new APN as LTE
3. set that LTE APN as default

Touch isn't working in any MM and above roms, i tried all of them but i had the same problem with RR marshmallow and nougat, AICP marshmallow and nougat( i got from AFH), i tried AOSP 7 xperia open project, and AOSiP but all of then i had this problem, i tried differents recoveries philz+twrp (2.8.2 - 3.0.2), and CWM 6.0.2, differents kernels but i didn't have success, i'd like help from someone that solved this problem or may know how to.
Is someone else having the same problem? Or is it only me?

My device is Redmi5plus (Vince)
I was using custom roms long time, then I install stock rom. Everything was fine.
But when I turn back to custom rom my fingerprint not working.
Then I again back to stock rom, fingerprint working.
I've tried lineage,havoc,crdriod,corvus. in these roms fingerprint not working. It's only working in stock rom.
In 2021 and I'm having this problem too... I'm using RevengeOS, already tried Evolution X, CorvusOS and HavocOS...
