Phone is restarting apps are crasing - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Questions & Answers

Hello,
Maybe someone without me has problems with this mobile phone ? Because my phone keeps restarting without a reason, apps are crashing while trying to use them...
I tried to instal miui.eu ROM and even this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-4/how-to/xiaomi-eu-redmi-note-4-rom-multi-t3527345
but it doesn't solve problem

You could try booting into TWRP Advanced/fix contexts & then wipe Dalvik & Cache, then if that doesn't work I would suggest you wipe everything & start again.
Be sure to wipe dalvik & cache after flashing.
I have been running the latest weekly builds from Xiaomi.eu since 6.12.22 & it's been very good so I suggest you start from there.

Restore your backup from within recovery.

Some of the custom roms just are not compatible with the ART. Restoring from a backup, or in the worst case do a clean/wipe install might be the only solution...

Try small EUI by Aureel
Heyyo, first use TWRP to backup all important data to a PC and then go to format > Format Data. This will completely reformat the storage of the device. Next use the PC via USB to transfer your ROM and Gapps of choice back onto the device and install.

Resurrection Remix Rom Update problem.

Hi, I am using Redmi Note 3 Pro(Snapdragon). I flashed custom rom by flashing CM14.1 Frimware Kenzo 12.04.2017, Lazy flash tool, RR-N-v5.8.3-20170709-kenzo-Weekly and Gapps. Everything is working file. I got an update to RR-N-v5.8.3-20170716-kenzo-Weekly, downloaded it and tries to flash. Go to twrp recovery and go to wipe then advanced then wipe Dalvik/ART Cache and Cache. Then i install successfully latest ROM. After that, when i reboot my device, it stucks on mi logo and restating. I have changed the bootanimation. Hepl me to go for the latest update.. When I tried to Restore the older version of RR Rom, My device sensors wll not work and i cant hear while i am calling. Plz solve this too..

Is there anyway to update without loosing any data? Wipe system and other things will clean my all data and i need to start from the beginning. That was too bad. I hate this process. Tell me how did u flash? or Is there any other way to flash without loosing data?
Just wipe system , cache & dalvik cache you'll not lose any data

dear TWRP experts and user,

so i had miui 9.6.2 , and for some reasons, i want to go back to 9.5.6
i ve flashed miui 9.5.6 via twrp, phone booted properly
but the bug from 9.6.2 persist(greyed notif bar, battery drain)
so what i wanted to do is:
1. boot to twrp
2. wipe system only(advanced -> all unchecked except system)
3. install miui 9.5.6
which in my understandings is wiping the OS, and then install the OS again without having to lose apps like whatsapp, instagram and its data
is the above steps the right way to do so? or is there any other way?
thanks.
01. Wipe - Dalvik + System + Data +Cache and Flash MiUi.zip +LazyFlasher.zip ==> This gets you a Clean ROM like you get after a factory reset, then you have to set everything up again, this doesn't lock Bootloader and keeps TWRP in place.
02. Before booting to TWRP remove all kind of locks like the fingerprints, pin, and password, Go to TWRP wipe Dalvik, System, Cache and install MiUi.zip +LazyFlasher.zip this will keep your data + boot up the rom (Have done this in past)
But its better to do the 1st one as 2nd one is good for recovering contacts etc but keeps freezing sometimes.

When U upgrade u encounter bugs or battery drain sometimes. We cant completely avoid it.
If u encounter battery drain then u need to format data. But Ur data and internal storage will erase.
If u r using twrp . If u need good miui rom with good battery then flash miuiAM rom or miui Eu rom Its lighter and no unnecessary google apps preinstalled. Very lighter, Faster performance And no ads. Not heavy like official global rom with stock google apps which eats ur battery in background.
Just flash_this miui 10 using latest twrp. But format data and wipe data first.

YouTube not working, multiple rom issue

I load up YouTube app, and the app loads up, but no content.
I tried Lineage with gaaps and pixel experience where you don't need gaaps flashed.
I cleared cache, Dalvik, cache of the app, uninstall and reinstall app. It's just odd the same issue persists with multiple roms.
Plz explain/help?
Hi i av the same problem did you find a solution to fix this thanks
Greetings. Thank you for posting your issue. I've had the same issue recently.
My problem was that the persist partition got wiped for some random reason. This seems to be a common issue on this device, and most likely you're facing the same problem. For me, apart from YouTube, all the sensors of the device stopped working as well (auto-rotation for example).
To fix this do the following:
1) Make sure you're using the latest TWRP from HavocOS (here)
2) Flash MIUI v10. I used MIUI v10.3.1 from xiaomi.eu (here), but you can use whichever you want, without any trouble.
3) Boot the device. Let it load... then back to recovery. Wipe System, Data, Dalvik and Cache
4) Flash the ROM you want to use
hi i tried your method but on boot i keep getting encryption error unsuccessful
