This is a sureshot way of getting VoLTE in any Custom ROM.
Try this. It worked for me.
1) Wipe Dalvik Cache, Cache, System, Data. (Not Internal Storage) Flash MIUI Global Beta 6.11.3. Here is the link, http://bigota.d.miui.com/6.11.3/miui_HMNote3ProGlobal_6.11.3_233ef61784_6.0.zip
2) Flash Lazy Flasher to edit the boot.img to prevent bootloops and to disable encryption and dm-verity. Here is the link, https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByWEieei-0nyMTR4R0dxWk9BTms/view
3) Boot to MIUI. VoLTE will work here. Go to Recovery and backip the EFS Partition.
4) Wipe Dalvik Cache, Cache, System, Data. (Not Internal Storage) Now, flash CM 14 Firmware, then RR v5.8.0-20161201 and then GApps. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=385035244224398629
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=385035244224402818

5) Boot your phone to the RR ROM. In my case, I got the HD sign without restoring the EFS. If you don't get, restore EFS Partition and you're good to go!

[SOLVED] Help required with XT1521

Hello there..!!
I just got a XT1521, as a secondary device. Its currently on stock Android 6.0 with baseband M8916_2020629.41.03.21.51R SURNIA_EMEA_DSDS_CUST
I want to make it just like the Pixel. I do know where to get the required files, and don't need any help regarding that.
All I wanna know is :-
1. What's the procedure to unlock bootloader on this device? Unlocked successfully
2. Which recovery should I use? I used Squid2's TWRP v3.0.2-r1
3. Which ROM can be used as a daily driver? (need 7.0+ to get Google Assistant working). My preferences are good battery life (if not extreme) but the performance should be smooth without any lags, unlike the stock M. Also, wifi, OTG support and other features should be working properly.
Flash Seraph08's CM14.1, its totally smooth with wifi, otg and everything working. Also, I've managed to install Google Assistant successfully
4. What's this adoptable storage thing that people are having problem with..?
Didn't faced this problem myself. Maybe because Im not using ext sd card.
5. Should I flash a custom kernel too? If yes, which one and why?
Didn't found any need to do so, stock CM kernel works just fine for me.
Thanks to you for reading through all of this and please be kind enough to answer. :silly:

4. I faced no such issue in cm14.1.
5.nope you don't need any kernel, cz the stock one performs excellent.

First of all, thanks bro for the reply.
Have you tried the CypherOS 3.1.3?? That seems good too but is having wifi problem, though in the latest version only.
Everything works fine in the CM14.1 you suggested, right? Even the wifi / tethering, VoLTE and OTG..?
VOLTE is still not available in any ROMs as far as i know, and for everything else works also i had tried cypheros 3.1.3 but i had some issue with that lyk the music would play on loudspeaker even if my headphones were connected(it also showed in the status bar , the headset icon after i connected my headphones) so yes i found cm14.1 better than cypheros in terms of performance

Thanks mate..!! I appreciate your reply. BTW, stock Marshmallow does support VoLTE, but since its my secondary device, I can live without that.
Yeah stock mm firmware supports VOLTE but then my phone would lag a lot on stock, so it's really difficult to stay on stock and that on jio half the calls wouldn't be placed due to interconnectivity issues, so i used stock for hardly 2-3 days.

General Rom Question (Kate)

Hello There!
Which will be the best rom for Kate?
I used RR Nougat by now.Witch Psyman´s Firmware for VoLTE and the Camera flash zip.
Edit:
Should have said:
I just want a stable rom with good german translation. Less as possible extra Programms. Just enough with little Goole (Nano i have) And not must installed Apps.
Smothely run etc.
And well a good UKW Radio connection.
And pls with SuperSu or Superuser not the new Magic etc.
Additional question:
I didnt restart into normal rom after installing TWRP but internal Storage is correct. So im Ok? Or did i a crucial mistake?
First of all, there is no "best ROM". Everybody feels different about roms!
I would suggest the official LineageOS.
You can flash SuperSU manually. Just be sure you flash the latest zip.
Ok, which SuperSu should i flash=?
In the Lineage OS Thread it is written.
Official weekly builds: https://download.lineageos.org/kenzo (IMPORTANT you read this before proceeding with installation!)
I dont understand that good. https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...neageos-14-t3542491/post70719075#post70719075
Additional: As i wrote i Flashed Psymans Flashlight firmware and VoLTE do i need to flash it again?

I've just install the last version of LineageOS on my Honor 5x (kiwi).
But I've got some issues:
- Some apps wont open (like Waze, Tv Time, ...)
- My connexion is arround 24kB/s in 4G or in Wifi.
I don't know how to fix thoose issues and if you met them before.
Can someone help me ?
Hi;
Try reflash your ROM. Be sure you doing wipes first. Also format sys and data before installing ROM. Always download last version of ROM. Some times company send a Amendment to make ROM better. Check for them.
Flash gapps exactly after flashing ROM. Then do wipes.
It's Recommended to download an stable ROM that users tested before.

Best MIUI 9 nougat rom for Kenzo?

Hola everyone,
As we all know Xiaomi didn't gave us nougat update for Kenzo. So our only option is Custom ROMs.
Can someone please advise me which is best Miui 9 nougat ROM for Kenzo, with least bugs.
Volte is a must please.

No doubt., Epic Rom miui 9+ userxp patch if you have 2gb ram device. Volte, GCAM with potrait, lots of customization ,face unlock. Every thing working perfectly . You will get 1gb of free ram out of 2gb by applying USERXP patch.
Miui pro based Rom are good but there is huge laging issue on kenzo. So I preferred Epic miui9 N
I am using Epic MIUI 9 7.12.1 which best custom miui Rom I ever used. Battery backup is very good with latest Agni 12.2 .

Miui.am 8.2.8 port from Orochixxx
Can you share the link of user xp patch ? Thanks
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73803980&postcount=589
you have to use same version of patch as your Epic rom's version
EPIC 7.12.1 is most stable .
add face unlock -http://www56.zippyshare.com/v/dZGS3P5K/file.html
volte fix if need( no need if you flash latest firmware 8.2.1)-https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=889964283620761693
recovery- wipe data, cache , delvik, -flash firmware- flash Rom- flash AGNI 12.2-wipe cache delvik cache-Reboot system-Boot to recovery-flash magisk- Reboot system- again recovery- flash USERXP PATCH- reboot system- again recoverey - flash face unlock file- complete

https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817906626617950536
and 7.12.28 both and waited for half an hour too used lazy flasher as well ! :?
Hi! I'm using Epic ROM MIUI9 with AGNI kernel and TWRP.
Wipe data, cache, dalvik, system, then flash rom, kernel, stock firmware, magisk (for root), gapps included (flashing other versions might cause bugs) and enjoy.
With all custom roms I have the same problem: after a while they become slow and just boring, so I flashed almost in every month a new one... until this came out.
in how much time did your device booted up?
then just flash Nitrogen os or any other custom os based on stock android without GAAP . lets check is there any problem with system .
If you able to boot successfully then in the advance wipe wipe internal storage also ( then select reboot to recobery in twrp otherwise you will see NO OS ERROR if you reboot to system) . then flash firmware from this link
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/development/firmware-hmnote3proglobal-t3574361
(the one without emmc) then follow all needed steps . FIRMWARE SHOULD BE DEVELOPER ONE
I hpe this will help you .
The first boot was not longer than 5 minutes, BUT: all I did is up there, no lazyflasher stuff that I never heard about.
Which version of epic rom do you recommend?
Can you tell me if Epic ROM supports Sunlight Display (adaptive contrast) also with Agni kernel? ty

Can anyone recommend me a stable custom ROM for the 5g version?

Hello everyone, after struggling with basically any custom ROM that I have tried, I'll report the errors here that I've had because I need a ROM that works decently, hopefully.
Paranoid Android (Android 10): frequent random crashes and reboots, audio codecs broken (some audio is really bad).
Lineage OS (Android 10): failures flashing it.
ShapeShift (Android 11): even more frequent crashes and reboots, mobile data not working.
Arrow OS (Android 11): I couldn't even complete the setup because of services crashing during the first configuration after flashing it.
I'd like a debloated ROM, less is more.
Or, if you have a flawless working ROM among the previous ones, please just link me the MIUI (and the firmware, if needed) I have to use to make the exact same installation you have (this is driving me crazy, it's about a week that I'm using a not decent phone). It's the 5g standard, no pro/ultra/lite.
Thank you.
Only stock roms work perfectly. Custom roms will have bugs.

Well, I have tried like 7 stock ROMs recently, almost all of them were as unstable as the custom ones.
Anyway, I've done the cleanest install possible (flash stock - format - flash custom - format) with Arrow OS and apparently like this it's quite stable.
