Tried on the A2017U...
Got a message saying this version was out of date (popped up 3 or 4 times after I hit OK), then the app crashed. I tried it again, got the same message but it let me go to the battery selection. I chose the green circle, but nothing happened, then it crashed again. I tried it one more time, chose the green circle and a charging animation, and it crashed again....So I removed it with Tbiu.

I applied the most APPLICATION
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY IS THIS ERROR

I didn't get the "out of date" warning, and it didn't crash...But nothing happened when I chose the battery I wanted. But, I am on A2017U (not the G version), so not sure that makes a difference?
I do know that DrakenFX had been trying to add this to his ROM, but never got it to work. Something to do with the stock UI?

SS can do from the desktop?

Thank your for this, even if it doesn't work on my phone. It's a start!

I tried getting this to work a month ago with no success. If I may ask which XML files you made your edits? The normal ones you edit were not working due to ZTE have there own custom edits for there battery interface. The @id/battery already has a dip figure added so changing that according to the instructions did not change anything. Anyways thanks for your contribution. I am unable to test. I have the United States version with the latest 30 build so I am unable to test your zip.

This zip should flash a deodexed version of the system file which would be a big difference between the USA model and the G. Long story short is why you are getting the error. If the OP let's me know which files specifically he edited I already have the files for the united states deodexed and ready to go. Me and two others were trying to figure this out a month ago or so.

Please send me SystemUI_ZTE version of U

[MOD][V500 20d(US)]Split Window for the G Pad

First off, all credit goes to xdabbeb...awesome developer!
Here is a port of the Split Window mod from the G2...
At the moment this will only work on the 20D OTA(US)...to run on other variants/firmware it would have to be ported over. It is not a one size fits all mod (need the framework for each).
Install Instructions:
1. Make a backup
2. Flash the .zip file
3. Upon reboot, use a file explorer to add the following lines to the build.prop
ro.lge.capp_splitwindow=true
persist.splitwindow.support_all=true4.Reboot
5. Go to Setting: Multi-tasking to enable features of Split Window.
6. Enjoy!
NOTE: I will work on updating the scripts to add the new build.prop lines but for now they need to be done manually.
If you would like to try the port yourself...use this guide by xdabbeb...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2792938&page=1
If you have questions feel free to shoot me a PM and I will help out...

Before flashing, please make sure you have a working backup. I have tested this on my device (V500) and so far so good (I'm on the stock ROM with a couple xposed modules installed).
Be sure to the check multi-tasking tab in settings to enable features of Split Window...

The only ROM I have been able to try it on is stock 4.4.2. Basically, the OTA and I uninstalled some of the bloat and added some xposed modules. If anything in regards to the framework has been changed in the LRS ROM I'm not sure this would work. I would need to do some digging. Sorry about that guys!
EDIT: Looks like the LRS ROM is based on 20b this may be part of the issue with the bootloop. Not sure if anything changed between 20b and 20d.

It should work for all apps but some may behave a bit wonky when in split window...for example,in Clash of Clans, my touches are off a bit.

Dang! From what I can tell, it would have to be built for each ROM available for the device...I don't think it is one size fits all.
If I have time, I can try and get it to work on some of the more popular ROMs for the device...just not sure how soon I can get to it.
Can anyone confirm this working on their device? If so, please post what variant/firmware you are running...
so LRS gets bootloop because its based on 20b not 20d?? how the hell i can get a 20d??

Vanir is AOSP.
This SliptView is for LG Framework, it will not work on aosp.
the same way it doesn't work on AOSP G2, etc.
You should try xposed framework, there is an multiwindow thingy there, i bet.

What I did was make a backup of all my data in TWRP (also backed my apps up with Titanium Backup) , then used the LG Mobile tool to go back to plain ol stock, took the 20d OTA, then restored my data from TWRP.
There may be a better way but I took this route because I had caused a bootloop messing with something else.

Just tried on V20b Stock white v20d downloads.
same bootloop.
Download of v20d kdz:
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=LG0000597081061
I believe it is US.
Edit:
Worked like a charm on Stock V20d, from the KDZ.
Thanks man!
Edit2: just noticed, almost no app apeared on the menu choice.
So i went looking for an solution:
ro.lge.capp_splitwindow=true
persist.splitwindow.support_all=true
These 2 lines are missing from build.prob

You would need at least root...then you could follow the guide that is linked in the OP...I highly recommend having a custom recovery so you are able to make a backup in case something goes wrong.

Bootloop on 20d
Hmmm...have any other mods installed?
Can u brick the tablet if you do it wrong?

Is it set to 460? That's what ROM Toolbox is telling me.
Just flashed this and everything looks to be working great. Thanks again for doing this, the upgrade prompts were driving me bonkers. I did notice the dpi change and I like it. Much cleaner.

I have Android Pay working on the official LVY48F image, but I'm pretty sure the DPI change that was done with this will not work with it. Also had to hold off on rooting until after it was set up.
Sorry guys. I didn't mean to change it in the rom. I just wanted it set to 460 on my phone. I can give you a different build.prop file or correct it and upload again. Give me a second and I'll upload a correct build and a 2nd flashable zip to correct dpi only.
EDIT: Attached is the flashable zip to set the density to 560 which is stock. I am uploading the full ROM with it corrected and I will post the link here when it's done.
P.S. If someone tries the attached zip, please post and confirm that it fixed your DPI. Thanks!
Here's the link to the same build with the stock 560 DPI: http://d-h.st/K2Ee

You shouldn't be receiving an update message is you're running this build. Check your settings about and make sure that your build number is LVY48F. The update will fail if you try to accept it.
I got the update notification when I first booted but have not seen it since.
Was running the wrong version, 48C, my bad. Thanks guys.

If you ever get another one, don't update. It'll fail if you have a custom recovery. Even if you had stock recovery, you'll then lose root and be encrypted again. Wait for a ROM update.

#WhiteUIsMustDie, #EndDarkAppOppression
Hello everyone,
I'm running into an issue here, I flashed this ROM so I could activate my Project Fi invite. Unfortunately, I am getting the same message as I've gotten on every other ROM. First, I will get error T301 and cannot do anything I'm the app. Eventually I get around it by attempting to choose network operators in the settings but get stuck at the part where I am trying to transfer my number. After typing in all the account info and selecting next, I get a notification at the bottom of the screen that reads "something went wrong".
I've been wondering, do I need to flash any of the radios, base (baseband?), or any other of the things that are linked in the OP? If so, which ones?
P.S. I have never flashed a different radio or bootloader etc. on this phone since I purchased in May.
If that's not the case does anyone have any idea what could be the issue? Any help is highly appreciated and I thank you in advance!

"For Android 6.0pen build.prop and add these lines ro.config.hwtheme=0 and ro.config.hw_theme=0
For Android 5.0-5.1.1: Open local.prop (in system/emui/base/prop/local.prop) and add these lines ro.config.hwtheme=0 and ro.config.hw_theme=0
Again reboot your device (this boot won't take long)."
In honor 5x local.prop (in cust/hw/eu/prop)

How long did it take after the first boot (after app, framework and Priv-app copying) and did you have any messages saying "optimizing apps" or such ?
It's being said to wait about 20-30 mn and I'm waiting for almost 1 hour at the Honor Logo... ^^

5/10 minutes and yes i have a message like optimizing apps
Test in build.prop or deactivates resource hooks in xposed settings, but then if you want to use gravity box for example, it will not work, build.prop change is the best solution.
---------- Post added at 10:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:47 PM ----------
build.prop change is enough , I just tried , no need to change local.prop .

Hmmm, damn it !
Don't understand why it was not working the first time...
Now, I got everything installed but I couldn't modify the /cust/hw/eu/prop/local.prop file !!!
I'm in R/W, but every time I modify the file, I loose the changes when I leave it and so the Xposed framework can't activate... ^^

I used es file explorer (an older version) to edit the local.prop and I had to select the root of the SD card to get it to save correctly (I have absolutely no idea why lol). After that everything worked great.

[ROM] [ALPHA] [8.1] [Unofficial] LineageOS 15.1

[ALPHA ROM, NOT SUPPOSED TO BE USED AS DAILY DRIVE]
I'm not the developer of this rom and i did not even compiled it, i didn't do anything...
This thread is only for share the link of an Unofficial LineageOS 15.1 rom and because it doesn't have it's own thread.
Link: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=276491
Thanks to: @mobiusm
Anybody who helped him
The official post is the number #836 available in this thread at this page : https://forum.xda-developers.com/g2-mini/development/unofficial-lineageos-14-1-t3529585/page84
INSTRUCTION: flash the twrp that @mobiusm give you with the rom, then flash the rom. If you want to flash anything else you have to flash an official twrp ( 3.1.x or older) then flash ( for example gapps or magisk).
[UPDATE]
I am not able to install apps or apk from Google play or any other site.
Installation from sdcard give errors.
The Low Ram Enabler flashable ( Android go) seems that works, however i'm not 100% sure. The flash is possible if you check my guide above. The file.zip is available in the attached files section.
Thanks
Well it should be noted, that this is really only the first unstable alpha version.
Yeah a thread is easier to find that a post, so new people are able to find this rom. Thanks for the effort!
Thanks.
Yeah, i just have edited the thread to be more specific.

I had similar problem, with first, and second install. Those were for testing, so I flashed different su packages, attempted magisk installation.
Currently only thing I have installed is open gapps pico.
It works for me for every day use, haven't had any problems with it, no restarts, or problems with waking phone up, no WiFi or mobile signal loss, or sudden restarts. Battery lasts up to 2 days.
Yeah the stability is good for the stage of this rom. The problem you said about magisk is because after the flash you need to install the apk. However this is impossible at the moment so i think that the root is only obtainable with the superuser flashable
That is why I gave up on su, couldn't make it work. Also every attempt caused instability, no matter which su package it was. And at the end I don't need it that much, just on a few occasions. Only every day use for it was updating hosts file with new blocklist.
Purple Screen + TWRP Version
I'm trying to install 8.1 from 4.4.1 is not possible from the purple screen, only works from 7.1? Qula version of TWRP and the right one and where it does not find it. Thank you
You can use only one special version of twrp that can be downloaded at the download link that i gave in the post.
Heeey, guuuys! How are u? Im curious to know if there is another version for flash or is the same that was released one month ago?

No update atm. We will have to wait, this build is unusable due to the impossibility to install any app.

Lolz, I have newest ROM and I can install any app from Google Play Store
BTW:
-GPS (tested with Strava)
-Camera
-cellular connectivity
-Wifi tethering
-NFC (tested with Huawei P8 lite by contact sending)
-Bluetooth file transfer
-SD card
Doesn’t work:
-accelerometer
-proximity sensor (also in calls, so this fix is the most mandatory IMO)
-compass (magnetic sensor)
