Hmm. Don't seem to have any of the problems above.. Did you do a clean flash of the ROM?
And any themes or mods used?

There is an option for traffic monitor in status bar and there is the amaze file manager.
Battery status at present is 78% but only 4 hours remaining. Will watch ist.

Looks interesting. I'll give a try... Thx. But I don't like Nova. My favourit is Trebuchet.

Hi @makorn645
Confirm WiFi is working (problem was on my side).
Nice rom. Relatively light (316mb) still with additional Features.
Love Nova Launcher with Pixel bubbles/options.
Already on board: kerneladiutor, substratum, xenonOTA ....
Root for apps/adb and developer options already enabled.
Also nice the default blue theme.
Thank You!

Hi,
Everything works perfectly here, got 0 problems, the rom is smooth and fast. Looking for battery life now.
Only one suggestions is to remove nova from systems app, i prefer restore mine from Titanium.
Thank you !

Hi,
Thanks for your effort. Is there any statics of how is the battery life?

Nice rom. I like the option for dark theme, useful for battery life. But I'd like more customization options, like in ResurrectionRemix. I need Wakelock blocker, App sidebar and option to show cLock on the lockscreen. Including adAway and Systemapp remover would be nice too.

If i try to flash this ROM, it only says "detected filesystem ext4 for /dev/block/mmcblk0p9" and stops the installation. Can anyone help me, do i have to repartition to another filesystem, and which one?
Btw i have no problems flashing other ROMs...

Hi @Anisette , It depends how you use it. My oem battery has 30-60% at the end of the day with general use.

Hi @lexus46 Some features are still on the way but no guarantee that the features you mentioned will be included. Btw AdAway is already included in the rom..

Hi @sirozan , Just having 1gb system partition is already fine. have you installed twrp? if yes, try doing a full wipe(dalvik, system, cache, data) then flash again.

'Hi @lexus46 Some features are still on the way but no guarantee that the features you mentioned will be included. Btw AdAway is already included in the rom.'
Hi makorn645, of course, you include features you want, I only tried to give some ideas how to make your rom better than RR. I use RR MM which is allmost perfect for me, but RR Nougat dissapoint me untill now.

So far so good
Hi!
Thank you for your work.
The rom feels just like advertised. Even for the SII.
Previous rom was CM13. I did a clean install, but did not formated the sd card.
Testing it with SIM card, as is my daily driver.
The battery seems to be draining a bit fast, but I'll report about it later, when I'm sure of what I'm saying. Battery wise I wish It could hold for 1 day, with wifi on during ~8h and onenote, office lens, gmail, a few calls and sms.
The only bug I noticed is that, sometimes, the white background of the appdrawer turns transparent and I can see the wallpaper. Don't know how to reproduce it.
There might be other bug, but I'm doing tests to remove the human factor.
Hope my review helps.
Keep up the good work. :good:

New build's up.

Dirty Unicorns is a custom ROM built with stability in mind and optional customization. The idea to start this ROM began out of pure boredom around 4.1.2 on the EVO 3D and later turned into a form of an addiction (a good one) to see where we could go from there. We have since expanded to more devices to include the HTC One, Nexus 5, SGS4 and many more. We quickly realize that users loved what we were doing as well as other developers because it was done the right way. We've always had fun doing it and take pride in knowing that we've done it without having to bug the end user for donations to pay for server costs and/or any of those sob stories you hear. This ROM is 100 percent free and will remain that way.
Those wanting to use our ROM as a base are more the welcomed to do so but please maintained the credits/thanks below, do not ask for donations as it wouldn't be fair to do so considering and let us know as we often like to contribute to other projects.
As stated above, we love to maintain authorship but we also like to publicly praise those that have helped us along the way with our wonderful project. With that said, this wouldn't be possible without the work and help of those listed below THANK YOU ALL!!
| OmniROM | AOKP | CM | ChaOS | Paranoid Android | Slim ROMs | Preludedrew | Team Black Out | Official Testers / Translators |
Please check our gerrit/github for full credits/thanks of individual contributors
Believe it or not, we are human and we do forget things. If we have left someone out of the credit/thanks list, just PM us and we'll gladly add on to the list.

No workee...errored out immediately in TWRP.
I will have to fix the download tomorrow then. Sorry about that but it should have worked in TWRP. Maybe AFH did something while I was uploading it.

No worries...
Did you make sure to remove the assert check ( if any) in the updater scrip?
Something is wrong with the download. It shows that the zip is 168 mb but the zip doesn't show any files inside

Don't worry, I'm uploading a fixed new zip but the same version. this time I made sure I modded the build.prop, added the i777 modules in /system/lib/modules/, fixed the updater script to allow install on our phones and added Renderbrokens 6/22 kernel and sectouchkey.kl file in /system/usr/keyouts/, and finally changed from GT-I9100 to show SGH-I777 when connected to a pc. ill check it when it's done uploading.
EDIT: It's done now and I hope it works for you all.
Well, took me a little bit to get it going and smooth, but seems pretty snappy so far. I like the level of customization, and the way the controls are laid out.
Just installed this rom previous night. Overall smooth and has plenty of features. Battery life as good as any Cm rom, but some features are altogether incomplete likewise toggles in notification bar cannot be re-arranged and video playback is also buggy.
Any chance that the versioning on the ports will be maintained? This is a pretty good ROM.
Aaaaaaargh...this is such a good ROM, but MMS is giving me fits. I like Hangouts, but everytime I try to send an MMS, it FC's. I've tried Textra, and it just sits, doesn't send, tried stock Messaging, no go there either.
I did an uber-clean install, even wiping preload. I did NOT wipe the data partition. Would that have caused me any problems?

Doubtful, it's likely your APN settings. 99% of the time that's the cause, especially since you're having the issue across multiple apps.

I've had the same APN across multiple ROMs and this is the first one to choke on it... from this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1791526
I'll recheck them though.
EDIT: Went in and changed the port to 8080 and it started working again. Bizarre.

Sheesh...still getting Force Closes on Hangouts, and stock Messaging will FC then try to send... I don't know what else to try.

Too bad you gave up, it's a good rom and those problems you were having were the result of apps misbehaving... not a rom issue. You could have cleared data like razen said, booted into recovery and cleared caches, then you would have had no problems.

If I did a clean install in the first place, what is there to clear? I did the exact same thing going back to SlimSaber, and it all works like a charm. I'm not disputing that maybe I dorked something, but I'm pretty sure I did a good clean install.

Those who love dark themes, you could install dark material theme for CM 13. Totally awesome!

Because I used some early unofficial builds and cm setup wizard didn't done that before. So had to use titanium backup.

CM setup wizard does not restore your account apps and data. I, too, have found this issue on roms using CM setup wizard.
Can't wait to test this. Great memories from s2/kk days! @rwaterspf1, @scott.hart.bti
Is there a caf version too coming?
pandza88 said:
Can you tell me does setup wizard recovering WiFi passwords and installed apps on fresh install now?
Because I used some early unofficial builds and cm setup wizard didn't done that before. So had to use titanium backup.

Actually, like you, I also used Titanium backup and it worked just fine.
I'm sticking with it for now!!
I can build a caf version but I only have one device to test with and don't like releasing untested builds. If someone was willing to test a caf version before public release then send me a PM and I'll run a build.

The main post says CM13 based, but nowhere does it say CAF-based. Just for clarification, this is AOSP-based in the sense that AOSP kernels should work with it, correct?

CAF Trial: Installed along with Open Gapps full. Everything working fine except that contacts did not sync immediately. I am trying to figure this out. For a first build its great. Everything else appears to be working, though I am still testing. Though it is very well equipped for an initial test build, I do miss some features that are fast becoming standard - like network speed indicator, options to color most of the status bar indicators and of course color navbar etc., but I guess there'e more to come, so I can wait for these. I ran it as one of my two secondary ROMs, so you can do it too to test if you like. More feedback after I test it some more. I haven't tested camera etc. or checked for torch bug etc..
If the contacts issue gets sorted out I'd say this is good enough to be a nightly.
Edit:
To be sure, I installed everything again dirty. This time I lost google play services. I think I will need to repeat with a clean install. I might also install with Banks Gapps to see if it makes a difference to contact syncing.
I just came to say, if some1 is interested to make ROM recover all your data you just have to to this steps:
-Full wipe,
-Flash the ROM;
-in twrp go and mount system;
-in twrp file manager and go to system->priv-app and delete folder called cmsetupwizard or something like that (don't remember exact name);
-after removing cmsetupwizard go and flash gapps;
-reboot your phone.
And you will have google setup wizard what will recover all your wifi passwords and apps.

This happened to me with AOSP version too. I used banks gapps and everything works great now. Give it a try.
Those who are installing CAF version, please make sure you have latest radio installed, i.e. MMB29K (6.0.1)
I had MRA58K (6.0) installed and it conflicted with MMB29K (6.0.1) radio. Device got soft bricked.
However, I then flashed MMB29K (6.0.1) radio image in cmd. All ok now.
Hope this helps!
Been awhile since I used a cm based rom, this is smooth, banks gapps, clean install, hellscore 16 kernel, well done

it's either you have another phone, or you think that Magisk works but it doesn't.
Magisk won't work with the i9100 because we have an outdated boot image.
please attach screenshots of Magisk manager app and a screenshot of the "about phone" section in settings.

Yes you are right. I think i got confused and assumed Magisk ran correctly on both of my devices i.e Samsung S2 and LG G3. The assumption was based on the behavior of two apps that wouldn't have run on rooted android devices (without Magisk).
So I apologize for my previous rant out there..
New build is up
- fixed IMEI not being recognized
- updated sources(BLN has been temporarily disabled, it will be back )
For now I'll leave the "testing" tag in the OP, tell me if you think it deserves "stable"

the volume buttons dont change the ring volume here, only changes the media volume
Gave this one a try. Just for general info - it comes with OPs' Destoyer kernel, it has a separate (still unlabeled) configuration section in settings but with only very few choices thus far, SELinux is set to permissive, it has FP gestures but no way in settings to turn off navbar (but editing build.prop works), and the default launcher is Launcher3. Also, there are no ringtones available or for notifications/alarm, and none of the system sounds were working (touch, screen locking, etc) despite being turned on in settings.
I don't use Google+ app so can't check that, and most other things I use set up normally, but what killed it for me is that V4A gives errors & can't install the driver, even though I set it up exactly the same way (Magisk module) as in Lineage 15/8.0 which works beautifully. Other than that it looks and performs very similar to our other 8.0 ROM Lineage, which I'm back on now.
I got viper4android working. I just installed magisk 14 and then flashed magnus opus with guitarhero build prop. Works great with play music. I confirm google+ will not install.

I mean I found this in the LOS 15 thread but havent tried this exactly yet....doesnt make 100% sense imo but gunna try it later :
" I use the Magisk module, so you need to be running Magisk (v14.0 currently):
- in Magisk/Download first choose to download (not install) the Viper4Android zip.
- in Magisk/Download next choose to install, when install finishes select Close (not Reboot).
- unzip the zip you downloaded and install only the main V4A apk (but not the io fix apk also in the zip).
- reboot, open the V4A icon, configure and it should work. "
Yeah, that's my usual method which worked well on Lineage 15 but not on AIM 8.0, but try it if you want. It seems redundant to flash the apk after the module, but otherwise you don't get the app icon, at least for me it's been necessary.
I found some info on Magnum Opus/etc but not sure which to download if that's indeed it:

Tests without gapps. There was no reboot. SIM port not SIM.
The camera was recording 35 minutes, so I turned it off.
It only closes automatically setting the desktop style. If there is something important I will write it.

This is just a suggestion.
If you are building a new ROM, then maybe try to build based on the RP1A.201105.002, which is for Pixel 3, just like the @elginsk8r did.
Build RD1A.201105.003.C1 is for Pixel 4a, Pixel 5.
.
