Micro SD testing - Moto G4 Plus Accessories

Hi guys, so I bought a micro sd class 10 for my G4 plus and I'd like to know if it's original and the speedy is right before using it on my phone.
Here is the test result:
Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 13.9 MByte/s
Reading speed: 19.8 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4
Does it seem original for you? Thank you.

I am using A1 SD Benchmark. My SD card is a SanDisk Extreme 64GB microSDXC UHS-I (SDSQXNE-064G-GN6MA), the result is the highlighted in yellow.: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013CP5IWO/
R - 178MBps , W - 101MBps

55gb? I think yu have moto g4+ with 3/64gb memories. Test was for intenal memory.
I bought Moto g4 standard.
Put in samsung pro 64gb and I don't know why results are so funny.
Public: 55/21 mb/s, r/w.
Adopted: 35/29 mb/s.
Public(Androbench) are quiet good.
Screens: wait a minute.

It was the External SD card, not the internal one. I have the G4 Plus model with 64GB internal and have added another 64GB microSD. I even posted the link to the exact type of card, 178 MBps Read / 101 MBps Write.

guys can you tell me? why my adopt sd card as internal storage make my apps laggy and hang(only apps where stored on adopt sd card, if i move the apps on internal storage it work perfectly)? you got it tho? mine is sandisk 16gb uhs 1 class 10. sorry my bad english.

Adoptable storage encrypts the microSD (AES-128). This reduces the speed.

Good point.
Anyway, if I buy a Class10-UHS 3, instead of Class10-UHS1, would it go faster?

Class 10, UHS-1, U3 is the best choice with write and read speeds up to 90mb/s. A UHS-3 is faster than a UHS-1, but without being U3 you get up to 30mb/s.

That is your problem they only SD card with good performance is a Sandisk class 2 or 4 8GB or above. There isn't really anything you can do other than get a new card.

Gotta go with Sandisk as well.
Tried Transcend, PNY and Kingston cards of 4-16G capacities and c6-8 speeds and they're all handily beaten by my Sandisk cards so far as stability.

i get alot with my transcend too. where would be the cheapest place to buy the 16 GB?

what about speed wise?

It is speed. Sandisk has the fastest random write speed which is what seems to cause those lock ups. SD card class is just measures one (relatively unimportant) indicator of SD card "speed" (sustained read).
Sustained read and write are great if you're using your card to backup large media or picture files but more or less worthless for running an operating system. Same principle is in place for SSD. Manufactures advertise sustained transfer rates but the important stat for a OS drive is access time (which determines the speed of random read/writes).
Here's a link to a 32gb sandisk for $30 http://slickdeals.net/da/mem-i/p46847290/k4569/u125110/r4
These work just as well as the 16gb ones.

32gb is theoretically the maximum, since 64gb cards will all be part of the new SDXD standard. Then again, several people have found that the 64gb SDXC cards work in their SDHC devices so we'll just have to wait until someone tests one in the nook color to know for sure if it'll support it (I wouldn't hold your breath, our hardware is fairly old).
I can certify that the 32gb works fine, as can numerous others who I've seen post.

Any microSD card til 32GB work good.
Bigger than 32GB is officially not supported, even though it might or might not work.
All classes work, Class just shows the read/write speed of the sdcard.

Micro SD support?

Hi guys, i have a great (for me haha) doubt.
I like to record a lot of videos with my smartphone, like to have a lot of music and heavy games when i wan to, but my micro sd 8gb class 4 isnt enough.
I interesed in use a 32gb micro sd class 10, how as Kingston or Sandisk. WT19i Supports that?
Additionaly, i have an offer for a sandisk ultra 32gb class 10 (refferential link) Does Wt19i support this memory?
What do you think?
Wait ur oppinions

sandisk....
bcz i also have a class 6 32gb on my mini pro...
reading speed around 25mb/sec writing 10mb/sec
i noticed gallery loads up really fast.
I have 16gb Patriot class 10. Reading around 20mb/s, writing 10mb/s connected as MSC i regret not getting the 32gb.
i have sk17i, and it recognizes 32gb class10 samsung micro sd, i think both phones are nearly the same, so the wt19i should also support
I bought a new 32GB sd card, and after I fill it with data, the phone starts to lag I have rooted wt19i and the sd card is not broken. I dont know if this is possibly a rom issue
Yeah it should work i use a sandisk class 4 32gb works perfick in my sk17i

I'm with A-Data 16GB Class10 and the phone works perfect. I was trying with 32GB Class10, without to full them and the phone works with the same speed like 16GB card. I'm not sure if the card is more 80% full.

an sd card class does not raise compatibility issues it actually can boost up the performance at higher speeds like on class 10
I have a galaxy mini and it supports class 10 sd cards so don't worry
I have 64gb sdxc, class 10 (made by kingston) and works perfectly, finaly sd card where class means something... only downfall is a bit of delay when I plug phone as disk to pc... but its not that bad too

Is it formatted to FAT32? Does the phone recognize all the memory?
aye serious lol I thought I would be limited to class 10 by the way is there any other performance issues besides a bit of lag plugging it into a pc ?
and also are those microsd cards UHS-I or UHS-II ? and has anyone found a limit to the size the card can be up to aka when putting data on it over a certain limit the data becomes corrupted ?
capacity of card

Need help with SD cards

I want to buy a Micro SD card for my Z2. I know that the Z2 supports Micro SD cards up to 128 gb. But Sandisk has a 200 gb Micro SD card, and will it work with Z2? And does Z2 support UHS? I want the largest storage place and the fastest speed.

I have a UHS 1, 64GB SD card by SanDisk (I know it isn't the 200 like you asked) and that works quite well.
I'm sure you have looked into SD card speeds (or have knowledge about them), but if you don't the UHS class 3 is the fastest.
I'm guessing to be able to use the 200GB one you would have to partition it, however I aren't entirely sure.

I have a Samsung 128GB EVO SD Card, which is UHS Class 1 and it works very well indeed, I will also attach a benchmark for your reading pleasure :good:
P.S: I should add that my Xperia Z2 still thinks that using the SDCard (Internal) is better for 4K camera than the external SDCard1 (Samsung EVO), assuming the internal is much faster as it is on-board chip.
UHS-1 or Class 10, are very similar with write speeds on Z2. I have tested UHS-1 and UHS-3 cards, the difference is about 12mb/s in write speeds on Z2!!!!
I have UHS-3 and I record 4K video directly on SD without any delay in saving, reading or writing! The inbuilt 16GB as well as my Sony UHS-3 card have same speeds in writing.

As previously stated 128GB
I am using a Sony branded 64gb. I had a PNY 64gb and it had problems in this phone and two others. So I am staying away from PNY from now on.
I saw that there are 256gb micro sd cards. Is it fake or it can be real?
Yep and they only have up to 200GB
http://www.sandisk.com/products/memory-cards/microsd/ultra-premium-edition/
I have a sandisk 128 gb cx class 10 in my z2 and all works flawless
I'm looking at a Samsung SD card from Amazon Canada. Most likely 128gb. The only reason I'm leaning toward Samsung is because they're water, dust, xray, magnet, shock, everything proof. And they have great reviews.
Every card of UHS-3 category is fine. Sony or Samsung or Strontium, all work well. Maximum writing speed on Z2 won't be more then 20mbps in any condition.

So does the phone really support UHS - Class 3?
I have this sd card on xperia z2 but for some odd reason its causing the phone to reboot. I don't know if its the sd card issue or the the phone. The phone wasn't able to write some of the data on it during my last tour during photographing. A lot of the stuff was corrupted. I came home and wrote stuff on it and everything is being written without a problem via those sd card usb adapters. Anyone know what might be going on?
Any card above UHS-1 is useless as Z2 won't be able to get read/write speeds on UHS-2 or higher.
However they will be useful if you frequently copy data from PC to card with a card reader.
Anyone tried 200/256 GB card?
GSMArena states that Z2 can support up to 256GB (info by them or Sony), but here You wrote that officially it's max 128.
Thinking about buying one, but it will be in a week or two, so maybe someone tried and can say it works or not before I will test it by myself?
