Viperaudio on OOS 3.1.4 - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am on stock rom, rooted using twrp. Is it possible to have Viperaudio installed on my phone? If there is anything better than viper, can you suggest providing the link of it as well?

idleKernel+JasmineRom

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to report that idleKernel and Jasmine Rom 6.1 have been stable for me. I think it's a decent combo until the other roms are sorted out.
edit: updated links:
Forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...-fork-t3241582
Download: https://idlekernel.com/touchwiz-lollipop/
Thanks.
Is this tbe kernel posted in the jasmine rom thread?

Try these:

Download: https://idlekernel.com/touchwiz-lollipop/
Running idleKernel with stock and working fine. SELinux is set to permissive so V4A works flawlessly. Thanks for the tip.

Assuming you're on Lollipop Touchwiz and flashing in TWRP, download the newest zip file "idleKernel-hlte-vzw-7.1.0.zip" dated "27-Mar-2016 19:08"

Thanks.

OnePlus X ROMs

Alright so I Have had my OPX for 4 months and seriously hate Oxygen OS what would be a good ROM to go to?
Purity Rom...

If it functions like oxygen os then I don't want it oxygen has made me mad enough
I personally use Paranoid Android now... But there are several great ROMs. AOSParadox has several CAF optimisations, Sultans CM 13 has them as well on the kernel and device tree side of thongs plus a superb camera HAL, CandySiX has amazing features, and Tipsy has an awesome maintainer. I switch ROMs all too often really.
You need to try them all yourself though. That's gkir best bet. Anyway, here's why I use PA:
1. Its very close to AOSP
2. It is now CAF optimised
3. Custom CAF based kernel
4. Floating windows are awesome
5. The HAL seems to be better than what's on Oxygen
6. Great community
7. Incredibly fast boot speeds even with Closed
8. OTAs
9. Customizable gestures
10. Simply the nostalgia affect. I used to to use it all the time
Those are just my 2c. Try what works best for you; not others.

Besides what I mentioned, not much... Its a great ROM though. CMTE is included and you can customize the gestures... Its close to AOSP with a few awesome features like floating window mode. That's really it right now. I'm happy with it.

I'm not sure what you mean. You flash it with TWRP after wiping data cache and system partitions.

OK, just search for how to install TWRP on your OPX, you will need a PC or laptop
Turbo ROM is solid. Battery, WiFi,mobile data and bluetooth all work to Oxygen standards and beyond.
