About Resurrection Remix ROM
Resurrection Remix the ROM has been based on CM,slim.omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your Device
Many things that in previous versions were tweaked with , are now included by default in the ROM so, please enjoy!

This version is compiled from sources, it will have the bugs that official RR has, I tested it since 3 days and it seems quite stable for daily use. I share it here if anyone wants to use it.

Installation Instructions

- Take a nandroid backup
- Full wipe and factory reset (actually dirty flash between CM14.1 & RR should be fine...)
- Flash ROM using latest TWRP recovery

Thanks for an alternate ROM for this wonderful tablet. I've been using it for couple of days now and it seems to work great. I got couple of errors during the first boot. I have not tested all the features yet, but for what I need... It seems to be ok. YouTube video freezes randomly, while you can still hear the audio. Its odd.

Thank you for the rom, I have been using the Lollipop version for about a year and loved it. This seems to work equally well. I tried the LineageOS first but the home button didn't work (maybe a bad flash), so I installed this, all seems well. I will explore more today. The LOOK is fantastic, need to get used to the features and changes. I installed it with the 7.1.1 Google apps Mini version. So today will be installing many apps that I used with the old rom.

Netflix works but Youtube and Hulu videos are zoomed in. Hopefully, this gets fixed soon but thanks for the rom.
WLAN isn't working on channel 13 on my tab.
All other things are working very smooth!

Which zoom in YouTube ? I just tried many videos and it works fine as supposed to. Same display than on any other device.

I have the some issue. In advanced settings wifi connection missing option to change wifi country region. This option resolve this issue in cyanogenmod 13. I just change region to Europe and my tablet can connect to channel higher than 11. Sorry for my English
I cleared Youtube's data and the videos are fine now but Hulu has the zoomed in video problem still. I uninstalled it and re-install the app but same result. Anyone else here have this issue with Hulu? Thanks again for the smoothest rom for this tablet.

On the 16th build I had those problems, on the 30th build they seem all gone.
On the 16th build utube had scaling problems after a few secs. On the 30th build I could watch utube for 20 min without any problems.

Yes, you have an option to set rotation angles in settings->display
For sd write I think it is native implementation in nougat, just search on the web about the process.

As far as I know there are only 2 versions of this build

Removed lots of excessive bloat
Rewrote battery driver (for the BQ27541 fuel-gauge chip; battery % readings are more accurate, there are various
safety mechanisms now, and you may get better battery life)
Rewrote half of the Synaptics touchscreen driver (over 2500 lines of code modified; your touchscreen may work better)
Newest-available Synaptics touchscreen firmware
Dynamic CPU input boost driver @Sultanxda wrote himself (makes the phone feel smooth without destroying battery life)
CPU underclocked to 1958MHz by default (you can disable this)
Vibrator is automatically disabled when recording videos (so the buzzing noise doesn't get in the videos)

-Back button doesn't do anything while i'm in the camera, so the only way to get out of the camera app is with the home button.

Call,Messaging etc are working.Camera doesn't save images in spite of giving permission to camera to access storage.

The ROM is on sultan's sources. Whatever is there in Sultan's ROM ie Patches, Application packages will be here also except those which conflict with each other.

Sorry i reverted to my old rom due to that bug.
I did't see any other major bug, everything seemed to work well.
I had the bug in my own custom CAF builds. It is easliy solved by syncing this repo and restarting your build:

Actually our version of DU is using a CM based kernel called Intoxicated. Sultans kernel with our tree will work fine and actually, I was able to do it a while back. Rohit told me not to release it though because he had beat me to it lol (granted a different kernel)

My off screen gestures work. Wheras rajgopi is still testing it. My Rom carries uber TC so with that much better battery backup and smoothness filled rom.

You should add unofficial tag within the build in Settings>About and Remove RR Updater. Rest, Build working good till now

I dirty flashed over official RR 08-22 and booted without problems.
any major difference ? just need to know. dont want to flash duplicates
Review After 5 hours of usage:
Pros:
1. Uber TC makes the Build smooth like butter
2.Little bit better battery life, as compared to official RR
3.Custom Kernels flashable ie Boeffla or any other
4.RR(Feature packed ROM)
Cons:
1. Updater is there which has no use for the Unofficial Builds
2. Force Closes are there. For example, using in built system app remover crashes when we try to uninstall any system app
3.Some WiFi problems in the build which I did not experience on SkyDragon/Stock OOS at 5GHZ (A2003)
been using it since yesteday and so far everything looks smooth. was using sreesha's official RR and when he closed shop, changed to official CM. Somehow, it was always buggy. So now moved to this unofficial RR.

You need to check Misc>System app remover. It crashes while using uninstall option. Do check it. Bug on both official and unofficial RR.
My 2G is searching for network in an endless loop and 4G is not working. So im left with only 3G.. and ive tried this using different sim cards and its the problem of the ROM. The 2nd Aug build also had the issue with no 4G but 2g and 3g were fine. Any help??
PS: Ive included a zip file containing a screenrecord on how the endless loop is present for me.

My experiences;
No lag like stock mm rom, better battery life compared to stock, no bluetooth connection issues with my huawei watch(on stock i lost the connection once a day and ask me to pair and pair again) better two sim call management with 3rd party dialers. I am using true phone and on stock i cannot call with second sim without 'always ask'

Fingerprint fully supported
I didnot concern Volte because my operator's Volte is device based. And only have s6, s7 variants and iphone 6+ that is not important for me.
Kernel is customizable. You can undervolt or change min/max freq.

It maybe not XPosed itself but some modules! Likely it is something theme related!

Allright. Trying all the options may work with RR. There was no problem with stock rom.
I'll be back to inform everyone when got some results. Thanks.
Xposed is working fine here no random reboots. As said before maybe some modules incompatible on your list.
Also another thing, dont use HALO it is causing android permissions unstable, you will not use some apps as a result. Always shows error when you want to give permission as "Screen overlay error" This is a RR bug i think not for this Build.
Found the bugs: The bugs are related to Lucky Patcher and Gravitybox MM. Just disabled both of them (unticked LuckPatcher, uninstalled Gravitybox) and the problems gone now. I've never used HALO but I saw the same problem (screen overlay issue) with Gravitybox MM.
Now, Xposed v86 -and Installer 3.1.1- (with Greenify 3b3 and Obb on SD) is running flawlessly. Using LuckPatcher without its xposed modules.

Don't know about slim recents as I don't use it.
But flashlight works without any issues from quick tiles.
Also alarm works loud and fine.
Battery life is awesome!

No original Build's battery was bad in comparison to this.
An issue I find is that the device lags while using live display.

2. It's not a bug, It's a feature (Android Nougat bruh)
3. Flashlight works from QuickSettingsPanel (I use it when the night is dark and full of terrors)

Hm. Do you have LiveDisplay on auto and all the options enabled? + are there any display settings turned on that you think might interfere with this one somehow? - I use the LiveDisplay function pretty much all the time and I don't have any problems with it. A log would be appreciated, maybe the issue lies somewhere we don't even suspect
+ There are going to be some changes in the kernel in the next builds, so maybe they'll help eventually.

1 and 3 are working well, can confirm - I woke up today too and checked the flashlight just now
As for the Slim Recents, I don't know as I simply don't use it, but the "double tap to go back to the last app" thingy is actually a standard feature of Android N and it's not connected to Slim in any way.
Question: did you do a clean flash and did you flash any system mods that might have broken the flashlight and/or alarms somehow?

Come on bro... I know u.... Mrng It happened to me with alarm. When on Slim recents page on pressing the recents button takes to the last app. However this is happening in official build as well. QuickSettingsPanel flash light had issue. Solved..

Yes,issue seems to be of something else.I'll see if I can generate logs and the procedure of reproducing the issue.
It might be kernel related too.But I've got a replacement of live display which is - Night Light,as I only use it to initiate amber tint to get good sleep at night.Night Light never worked for me on Official RR-N,dont know why but it is working fine on this one.
Is @nikhil18 updating his lightning kernel,that will be featured in upcoming build?
