Ok now for the good stuff, I have taken the iOS/EmojiOne/Samsung/Facebook/Twitter/etc base emoji, and ran it through Photoshop. I applied outlines/borders or tweaked each of all the emoji, so each package has its own unique style, ONLY found HERE! It makes them even more appealing to the eyes IMHO. I also compressed? them using my own method. Hope you all enjoy, and I will be updating this thread with even more one of a kind modified emoji.
~Installation Steps~
1. Choose a emoji pack below, or pick from screenshots:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/v2...se-outlined-ios-unicode-t3545726/post70806634
2. -Flash In TWRP-
3. Use Gboard, Chrooma (what I use), or SwiftKey Beta, Keyboards⌨
3a. May have to clear cache/data in your keyboard

Also the new Unicode 10 (ONLY FOUND IN iOS PACK) emojis won't show in the keyboard⌨, you have to copy them from link below and paste in ANY text field: http://emojipedia.org/unicode-10.0/
If you do not own a v20, extract the notocoloremoji.ttf from the .zip and move it to system/fonts. And set the correct permissions as the rest of the files in that folder. DO NOT COPY the fonts.xml.

Upcoming:
Other outlined emoji packs
Thicker outline (?)
Drop shadow emoji packs (?)
"Flat" style emoji packs
8 bit emoji packs
Pixelated emoji packs
Will do:
Custom request emojis (want a special logo/character added in place of a certain (less used) emoji ?) {Only you and/or another person who flashes the mod will be able to see, others will see a dog (example)}.
Anything else?!? I'm open to requests!

Also mine

And mine again.

Emoji One's Emoji with my custom added outline/border!!

Sources where I will be grabbing emoji from:
Samsung - My spare S7
Emoji One - Their OWN GitHub
Twemoji - Their OWN GitHub
Windows - My OWN PC
Google - My OWN V20
EmojiDex - Their website
(And any other future releases will be updated here)

I have. Why do you want it further compressed? It works fine how it is, its not like it takes longer to load or anything. In the iOS emoji pack there are over 2400 different emoji, that's why its so big. Others, like EmojiOne, only have around 1500 emoji, that's why emojione's package is only 6mb. I will be releasing 1-2 more packages today

I don't understand your post on emojidex.
And I don't use pictures to theme my keyboard, looks too tacky imho. So I don't know why it does that.

Working on it now. Expect it in a week or so.

Also, EmojiOne will be releasing their version 3.0 ANY day now! Includes all new drawn emojis and also includes profession emojis just like the iOS version I uploaded! Here is an image they posted as a tease. You guys will get it the moment I do..??

@lightninbug Where do you paste the emojis after you copy them? Just curious and is there an easier way then to do one by one? ? Nice job btw!

What do u mean where do u paste them? Anywhere man.... No other way currently man. Unicode 10 drops later this year. It will be fully supported then. Think of it as a preview ?

Like this..
????? ?? ...
But beware, ONLY users that have ALSO installed this OR have support to unicode 10 (dont think anyone does currently) will see these new unicode 10 emoji. All of the other Emoji work as normal. I use the new unicode 10 emojis in my second screen ?
So in short, if u send/text a unicode 10 emoji to a non-rooted, iOS, or a person who didn't flash this, they WILL NOT see the image. The other person NEEDS this in order to see the new 30-40 emoji if u choose to send them via text or whatever.

Enable Jellybean 4.1 Emoji icons in ICS

Original credit for discovering the ICS fallback fonts goes to iridaki for the experia http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1879056. I have just modified his version to work with our Rezound
I have tested this and is working perfectly to create the Android 41. Jellybean Emoji through out the ICS system, I am using stock Global RUU with a few modifications but this should work with any ROM. Please let me know if you run into any issues wit it.
I wanted this because i use the stock messaging system and noticed that i could not receive Emoji icons from other phone users, such as that crappy Apple product, in my messages., however i didn't wnat to use a 3rd party messaging app such as Handcent. With this enabled you can now send and receive special Emoji characters in the ENTIRE ICS system not just in the messaging app, please note to type the characters you'll need a keyboard such as Multiling Keyboard. Google enabled this option in Jellybean by adding a font to the fallback font script which contained the necessary characters to recieve the non standard Emoji's.
This zip contains the added font and a modified script so that when receiving a special character you will no longer see the boxes, but instead the Jellybean encoded Emoji!
Please note: I am not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, this has been tested and should in no way affect anything, but as always use at your own risk.
Steps to install:
Place HTCemojiflashable.zip onto root of external sd card
Boot into recovery and create a backup(important so you can revert back in case of issues)
Flash zip file using recovery(I recommend Amon-Ra 3.15)
Reboot and enjoy

This should work for any htc rezound ROM. However i have not and most likely won't be testing it on anything other than stock so i suggest a nandroid first to be safe.
These work on Sense 4.1. I'm running Newt's One xXx 5.1.1
They are black and white icons. This is stated in the original thread in the Xperia's section, but I am just confirming that they DO work on Sense 4.1

I believe there is a emoji codec that needs to accompany the keyboard, check the settings. Sorry I cannot help more I don't use it myself
Thank you so much for this! I'm on HTC Sensation and this works perfectly! Just wondering would you be able to, if possible to have the full emoji icon instead of the b/w? I know you go off of the JB release to get this, but maybe you can customize it, possibly? Also can you get OS6 Emoji?
i don't believe it is possible to do that without having a modified messaging apk. Android messaging does not have emoji support built in such as ios, this mod simply adds a font if you will that is programmed to display the emoji. Same idea as italic or bold font, not possible to give it color or anything like that unless the android message apk was written to encode emoji's, which it is not in JB or ICS so unless there is someone much better out there who can write the code for the apk i'm sorry i can't add the support. This will however receive ios6 emoji, it will just display it as JB would though, not an iphone.

Good day community,

There's a thread by @angelsel which explains how to replace the Android color emoji with the iOS color emoji AND how he managed to do it. The tutorial in the thread isn't too hard to follow, although he forgot to write that the AppleColorEmoji.tff provided in the thread needs to have permissions -rw-r-r in the "fonts" folder. It works great and doesn't replace any other system fonts. Looks just like iOS.

Themed CM Messenger For StryFlex | v3.0

So I was getting bored and flashed StryFlex v2.0, the Xperience p) was great but I was disappointed to see that CM Messenger didn't change color according to theme accent. No matter what theme I applied it was still cyan blue.
Therefore I present my themed CM Messenger ! (I am just bragging here seriously it is the same CM Messenger with a bit change so that now it gets color from StryFlex Themes yay ! )
Please remember to hit thanks after flashing my mod cause that will encourage me to make awesome mods like this one in future

- TWRP or Philz for flashing zip (haven't tested it on CM Recovery, can anyone try and report?)
- StryFlex v2.0 rom
- A cooking pan
News:
v3 added !

I was going to do that but figured same color might look good. The calculator app looks kind of weird because of accent color Also I have modified systemui a bit too (for analog clock so that on lockscreen it shows theme color for second's hand instead of red) and I was going to modify calendar app too so that it shows theme color for weekends instead of red but apparently I am missing com.sonyericsson.uxp.apk (the second framework...) to decompile Sony Calendar app. Do you think you can help me with that? I think you might have that framework..

Thanks for reporting I will try to fix it soon (right now my cell is in bootloop thanks to CM12.1 build 0921 so going back to 0919) if you want to you can extract the contents of zip and place system/app/mms/mms.apk from extracted folder to /system/app/mms on your phone using any file explorer like root explorer or solid explorer and set permissions to 644 (rw-r--r--)
Edit: Also make sure the zip you downloaded isn't corrupted, just redownload the zip and give that one a shot. Sometimes for God knows what reason the zip gets corrupted.

How about

Emoji Request

Some of you may or may have not noticed, but coming from a nexus 5, the emoji's were nice looking. Now that I'm on V10, the emojis are butt ugly. I've attached an image of what I'm talking about. The ones circled in green are what the new ones look like, and the red circled ones are the ones I'd like back. Clicking on them only changes what they look like when selecting them on the keyboard. Not what they look like when placed. Any way I can get them permanently?

Emojis are actually fonts so you can easily change it out.. here
Emoji 6.0.1
Use a root explorer (I use Solid Explorer...its what es file explorer used to be before it started taking drugs )
Navigate to /system/fonts/
Rename NotoColorEmoji.ttf to NotoColorEmoji.ttf.bak (this is your backup if you want to revert)
Copy the downloaded file into the font folder and set the permission to -rw-r-r (aka 0644).
Reboot and enjoy

Like I said, didn't work here. The Emoji Switcher app couldn't gain root and failed. I'll swap them manually when I have the spare time.
Well you could always try this method. --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...covery-install-unicode-8-0-emoji-5-x-t3266000
I ended up doing it all manually and it worked just fine for me. The new Unicode 8.0 emoji will ONLY show up in the AOSP keyboard for now. But the ones that were replaced with different images did get updated either way.
lol sorry I completely forgot about this....but the thread that @Virus.Shell linked to is a hopefully functioning 6.0.1 keyboard.
Not sure if you guys have seen this, but I installed these emoji, MUCH nicer than the stock Android ones and obviously nicer than the stock LG.

Not sure if you guys have seen this, but I installed these emoji, MUCH nicer than the stock Android ones and obviously nicer than the stock LG.

Probably should've hidden that number lol. Anyways, I don't use Google Keyboard. Too little choices of emoji's. KK Emoji Keyboard has a bunch of choices.

Welp, not my number or my pic. If he wants to put it up, more power to him. As for Google Keyboard, like the post says, there's a modified version that uses all the emoji. It's 50% of the point of my post
I have been using TouchPal app as a default swiping keyboard for all my texting all the while. And there are a lot of different kind of emojis in this app and it is free. Give it a try - I hope you will like it.

How to apply it
Good theme, though the Black Notification Panel is pretty much the same as the Default Notification Panel, Blue on Black. I'd imagine this is good for a dark settings screen, also a Twitter Dark Blue WhatsApp and some system tweaks here and there. Frankly I'd love to see a black Playstore and black WhatsApp theme!
If maybe a bit more theming, would be great.

Thanks for commenting!
Btw, I tried doing themes for other apps, but it seems like that it is impossible to do that without Xposed + root (or Andromeda, the no-root solution for Oreo devices).
I'll try to make that work, but for now the theme is suspended because Oreo is rolling out on many devices (mine included), so I could end up having difficulties in developing an EMUI 5 theme on EMUI 8.

Download the file and move it in 'Internal Memory > HWThemes'.
Then check the Themes app and apply it from there.
Hope this works out for you.

I understand! However I'd like to see if you can make a similar theme on EMUI8! ?

I'd like to make it, but I still have to wait for the update.
Huawei + my carrier (branded phone) = we're in 2018 and I didn't receive Oreo, yet...
Changelog:
3th August 2018:
Thread updated, new version added, links updated.
Confirmed: support for EMUI 8 (zYDarkUI5.hwt tested on P10 lite)
