Does Lenovo Vibe K5 Supports Wireless Display ? Miracast Mirroring ?!
Please I want to buy it for my mother, so if possible if it supports, do post some images of its display settings and where we also get the option to "enable wireless display".
And also let me know that does it works fine on smart t.v.'s supporting miracast, if anyone has tried.

Can you guys tell me how can I use wifi mirroring included in xtx 4 rom? I have samsung tv B650..is it possible to connect together or this feature isnt even working?
I just got a Netgear Push2TV 3000, which not only encompases WiDi, but Miracast support in this version.
From what my indersstand is though, is that both these WiDi and Miracast technologies are basically just wireless HDMI anyway.
My question is if it's possible to come up with a mod to work to allow any (or at least most) rooted phones with a ROM like CM that intergrate Miracast into their settings for every build?
Just wondering if this was possible. This would be a really welcomed feature,
PS...I did try doing just that with my droid 4 running CM 10,1 with its wifi direct setting..it said it was connectining, anazingly...but nothing else after that. =/

Hey there. Connecting via WiFi Direct through the Settings menu only sets up the layer 3 connection. To make a function like Miracast work, you need a Miracast-supported app to sit on top of WiFi Direct. MiraCast is a standard that is certified by the same governing body as the one that certifies WiFi Direct, so MiraCast is actually built on top of WiFi Direct. WiDi is an Intel led standard that nobody uses.
i would love to see an app capable of this be developed, it would be awesome to be able to display the screen on my phone on the TV without wires

Can i "Screen Mirroring" from galaxy s3 to sony smart tv. I've use Screen Mirrroring from s3 Settings.but it told me "unable to start screen mirroring because of a hardware issue"

If you are looking for wireless mirroring then you will need one of these.

Otherwise, you can use a MHL adapter for wired mirroring.

no.My TV is Sony smart TV 2013.that already have MHL & wireless Mirroring function.so i think i don't have to buy anything above

Theoretically then it should work unless there is some incompatibility. Don't have personal experience of the same, so I suppose you will have to wait for a response from someone who has tried out screen mirroring using the S3.

Hi, maybe it's too late for an useful answer, but... the "Screen Mirroring" works on Sony TVs, and without the all-share cast dongle!
I have a Sony W6 (2013), connected via WiFi.
With stock rom 4.3 just connect the S3 to the same network, turn on screen mirroring on the phone and the Screen Mirroring should star automatically!
But screen mirroring doesn't work with a modded rom, in that case will appear the message "unable to start screen mirroring because of a hardware issue". Maybe the flash counter must be "0"... I don't know if there's a way to use this functionality with a modded rom.

I am unable to use the mirroring function of my Z2 Tab. I have a Sony TV and it's connected to the network. Whenever I attempt mirroring, I get the message that no compatible devices are present. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm looking for a wired screen cast for Realme 3 pro. Because, it's is easy for my parents, to do the plug n play, instead of WiFi cast.
I've got to know about these two options of wired connections (MHL & Slimport). But I'm not sure, those will work for Realme 3pro.
