[Q] ODIN writing error when flashing to another country's stock ROM

I tried quite a number of times trying to flash my S2 that I got from HK to a stock docomo ROM but it keeps failing at the FactoryFS part. Anyone got some ideas on why it doesn't flash? (is it hardware related?)
what version of phone do you have ?
go to settings - about phone post model number, versions.
I suspect that your phone may not be able to handle docomo rom becuase it is not a Japanese version but another country which does not have the correct board for docomo.

[SOLVED] No network detected ????

Hey Guys;
A month ago my phone died on me. After a 1 month hassle of the company trying to dodge doing repair the phone on the warranty, they finally gave up.
They replaced the motherboard and when I got it, it gave me zero bars and no network. I took it back and they returned back with a different rom but it was working. The first was some samsung s3 in arabic version rom. The second was a chinese samsung s3 rom. Since I couldn't get arabic keyboard I decided to flash super nexus rom but now I have zero bars and no network showing.
The hardware specs are in the attachments.
Any idea how to fix it?

Can't find PDA, CSC and modem?
Looking at different posts. Tried Ariza patch didn't work. Am assuming I only need to set the imei to get a network. But what am I to set it to?

You cannot set an IMEI .
You either have a backed up EFS folder you can restore or its a service center repair .
Can't find PDA, CSC and modem? either you are clueless or its more than just IMEI is a problem .
Suggest you flash a stock rom for your area via odin from sammobile.com .
Fails then its a service centre .

I am a bit clueless, nut when I had the S3 before it died and had its motherboard replaced. I would press *#1234# to get the pda and modem and csc or you can get them in the about area. But now with the super nexus rom if i press the code it gives " no mobile network" and it does not show in the about area.
I didn't back up the EFS. This problem was present as I said before when I got it back from the in the service center they had a rooted middle east stock rom and it showed no service, they took it back, I thought the reason was loose wiring. And when I got it back it had a rooted Chinese stock rom which was able to connect to the network. The previous Original motherboard had an unrooted African stock rom, they also cheated me by giving me a 16gb motherboard instead of 32gb.
Tried to flash chinese stock rom via odin and got fail. now it will only go to download mode anything less it gives a yellow triangle.
You need a service centre but you have no warranty .

Got it fixed.
First Flashed Samsung i9300 stock rom 4.0.4 from http://samsung-s3.com/restoring-sto...ware-build-xxalf2-samsung-galaxy-s3-gt-i9300/ (I had 4.0.4 when I bought the phone.)
root the device via Framaroot 1.4.1. apk (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276)
Installed busybox via busyboxinstaller.apk in google play and installed busybox
last installed ARIZAPatch.apk can be found in xda developers forum and make sure you are connected to the wifi and press the V[0,5] button. Your device will reboot and there will be light.

HELP SM-T800 Can't get samsung firmware on new motherboard

Hello guys,
Received a samsung galaxy tab S 10.5 from a friend with broken motherboard. Switched the board with one bought in China. Works perfect , but there was a test firmware installed on the board (PDA FA44_T800XXU0AND6). I don't manage to install the stock samsung firmware, everytime FAIL message at system.img (see pic 2) in Odin for firmwares of BTU or France . I don't know the serial number or the origin country of the new motherboard so can't recover via Kies or Smart Switch. Tried with the S/N of the pervious motherboard and at the moment of download to the device it fails.. No only acces to download mode, message of failed software update when I boot up normally..
Anyone any ideas on how to solve this problem? I'm running out of options..
Can I determine the S/N of my motherboard when only having acces to download mode?
Thanks a lot in advance for any advice or help

How to find pda & csc and does it matter in flashing stock firmware?

Greetings,
I am using SM-G532F/DS bought from Saudi Arabia. Android version 6.0.1. When it was first opened it was region locked but I requested an unlock code from Samsung and they sent me and successfully unlocked it's region lock. I previously tried rooting it with odin but failed and now I get the message " An error has occured while updating the device software... use smart switch pc app " every time I turn it on, but smart switch doesn't accept my s/n. Now my last option left is flashing the stock firmware using odin. But I can't turn on my device to see/check software info ( pda, csc etc. ). My question is, can i flash any firmware disregarding pda and csc? Because I don't know if there is any way to find out software details. If pda and csc is important, how can I find out the correct firmware if the only thing I can use is download mode. I can't turn on the phone anymore.
Device info:
Model: SM-G532F/DS
Android version: 6.0.1

Used S7 edge firmware issue

I bought A used S7 edge, I have issues with 4G use on my phone, and It wont update past android version 6.
When I used SAMSUNG INFO app I found the following:
Bootloader Version: G935VVRU4API3
PDA Version :G935FXXU1BPL2
CSC Version :G935FXXU1BPL2
Baseband Version :G935VVRU4API3
CSC COUNTRY : HONG KONG
SAMSUNG SERIAL NUMBER : 00000000000
I have 4g connectivity issues especially on whats app (can only send text but can't send media), Facebook ( works for a while and then 4g stops working on it) , yahoo mail (won't refresh or open/send emails unless on wifi) , and linkden ( feed doesn't load unless on wifi), and youtube works with no issues.
This issue is killing me, how can I fix it? I live in the middle east (Jordan), does that effect anything ? I already factory reset my phone and re-installed all my programs, I got my SIM Card checked, I checked with my service provider and nothing is wrong.
Help! what can I do to fix my problem ?

Can you notice that it says on phone info its SM-935F but in download mode it says its Sm-935V
Hi , your SN must to show up , also when you are dial *#06# , to make sure what is correct firmware you should see on the Battery cover glass to the bottom like for example :
SM-G935V ( see if is V , F or some other )
Made in Vietnam by Samsung
S/N RFxxxxxx
IMEI: 357090/07/3957276 ( compare your imei with imei which is written on the battery cover ....
Once you find real model name go to updato.com , put your device model and download latest firmware for your region.
You can use IDM for fast downloading , also you need Odin . you have over the internet how to use Odin and how to flash ....
But , before you are doing anything back up your data , also remove your google account and samsung account from your device , make sure your battery is full , do Wipe Cache Partition from Recovery and do Factory Reset . Then flash latest firmware with Odin .
Good Luck

Well the battery cover (Back cover) has been replaced with another one so I can't get anything off it, on the download mode it says its a G935V, but the software installed on it is G935F as you can see from my (Settings- About phone ) screen shot....
I don't think If I flash the G935V firmware it'll work because I am not in the USA and There is no Verizon here, I live In Jordan (middle east)
Can I flash the G935U software? will that solve my whole issue? do I flash the whole thing ?
anyone could help out ?
Your phone is for sure somehow "modded" device registred on database with your imei is registred as G935P made for USA not G935F or G935V . Who knows what the owner before you has done with him or somebody else .
So my suggestion is to flash firmware for G935P
https://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?q=G935P&exact=1&r=&v=&rpp=15
Choose region USA (Sprint) SPR or XAS use latest Android 8 with latest Odin version or try last Android 7 .
