900T - Home Button Not Working - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 5

I have a strange issue with the home button not working.
Originally I changed the front camera, rear camera, and mid frame.
I turned it on, and I found that the home button does not work, but the soft buttons did.
I changed the charge port daughterboard, and put in a new home button.
However, the home button still does not work. Everything else does.
Anyone have any ideas if I damaged the motherboard?

Menu and Back Button BROKEN ?

I didn't find anything about that, but it seems that I have a problem with Menu and back button... mainly the back button.
Normaly, when a I press menu or back button, both illuminate. Since today, sometime, only the menu or back button illuminate. The one that does not illuminate is not working.
I tried to press everywhere on the phone, shake it, removing sim, rebooting, etc... didnt find what cause that. Could be hardware or software (I have stock rom).
Anyone have seen this?
Thanks !
well... playing a bit with it today. I hold it flat in my hand, turning left or right... light were blinking on menu or back button... sound like hardware problems

[Q] Front buttons broken

I've got the Sprint model, and it seems like the capacitive buttons on the front are broken. the "send" button registers as a "home" and the "end" as a "back" so the physical component works but not the capacitive.
When I try to run Android, none of them work except the center one.
I've opened up the phone but can't figure out what's wrong in there. Any ideas?
Thanks.
PS: Also, sometimes when I press the buttons, they mess up the screen - the backlight doesn't turn off when the phone sleeps, and sometimes there's even some ghosting.
Seems like a grounding issue, but I can't tell where.

broken power button?

I have a le pan tc970 (froyo, no root) with a broken power button. I've tried the fix broken power button app but it doesn't work, the tablet still won't wake up with the app activated. The only thing that wakes up the screen is connecting the charger. I've cracked open the back of the tablet and can clearly see where the internal power switch is broken but I didn't have a spare part to fix it, the little spring is broken off, if all else fails I will open it back up and try some tin foil to cover the gap, but I really don't want to.. Does anyone know of another way to remap the power button or at least allow the screen to wake up with a volume button? Or have any insight as to why the fix broken power button app isn't working? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm tearing my hair out.

Home button suddenly stops working.

Hi,
The home button on my sgs2 (I9100) randomly stopped working on a night out. It doesn't respond to any click (short, long, etc.). I am currently using an app to replace the home button but I'm unable to take screenshots or bring up my task manager now. My touchbuttons next to the home button still work perfectly. I have restored my phone to factory settings without any no result. My phone is not rooted btw.
I'm thinking about buying a new home button flex cable to try and fix it but I'm not sure whether that will fix my problem because the touchbuttons are still working. Maybe just the home button on the flex cable is broken so replacing it would fix my home button.
Any help or insights on the matter will be highly appreciated.

My s5 keeps activating the multitask button.

I had to replace my microphone/charger port part because my microphone wasn't working. It was like about a couple months ago since I did the repair and now its my multitask button( the button to the left of the home button) keeps activating as if I was pressing the button but I'm not. Even if I'm not touching my screen and watching a video it keeps showing the background processes. Is it because my microphone/charger port part is defective or is it because I did something wrong? Any thing I can try? Or can I temporarily disable the button because I have accidentally pressed the button when playing games before when my phone was 100% fine and working.
