Alcatel Ideal 4060A request for stock ROM - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have searched everywhere for the stock ROM for the Alcatel Ideal 4060A. I have even contacted Alcatel. Does anybody have any information or a link as to where I can find the stock ROM, or can anyone point me in the direction of how to recover this device from a soft brick? Would the firmware from another Alcatel model with similar hardware potentially work? Thanks in advance for any and all information.

Hay bud might b able to help i have one that's rooted already

I think he wanted to port it to another device. I'm making a complete stock, deodexed, rooted ROM so other people can use it as a base to mess with.

Flashing Spain's JB official

I have some queries. I live in Pakistan and my current firmware is of UK/Ireland. My phone is unbranded so will XWLS8 work on my network? Do I need to make a backup of my efs folder before flashing XWLS8? Also I have reset my counter to zero and I see no triangle when my phone boots up, so will flashing via PC Odin increase the counter? Or I should do it using Mobile Odin Pro? Please guide!
Thanks in advance!

need help with rom install requirements and opinions.. (helpful ones)

i loved the battery life of this rom, well really i just loved this rom... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2567499 now when trying to install i get bootloops..its mj4 so is there a way i can go back to mj4?..on stock oc5 rooted/twrp recovery.. also does anybody recommend or know of a stripped down efficient rom like minimus that will work when on oc5?? thanks in advance.
aw **** how do i delete this i thought i was in q&a?
You can go back to MJ4 modem if you want to.

To go back you have to odin flash mJ4 modem.

---------- Post added at 12:58 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:57 AM ----------
Then flash that ROM
Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
would it really be that simple? i mean would it work with oc5 bootloader? not exactly sure how that works...and can you really just flash it do you have a link mate?
i get the whole odin thing but was told by me mate to never flash a downgrade as it would brick my n3.
and can someone help me to delete this thread?
Ive done it numerous times. I recently pit a Sprint Note 3 on Straight Talk. Due to Sprint deciding to lock the sim card at a certain point you can only do that with an older modem, namely mj4 or older. Mi3 to be specific. So yeah you can do it.

Another way is to find the stock MJ4 ROM and just flash it back to to MJ4 then root afterwards again.

Phone issues, HELP!

So here's the story..
I recently decided to root my Galaxy s6 Edge 6.0.1. The root worked fine.
However, I found out that it caused the default phone app to not work properly. I could call and receive calls, but neither of us could hear each other.
I downloaded this one app that can modify system apps. I went to the phone app, backed it up, deleted, and tried to re install. However.. It failed me. It would not let me use the backup I had created, and just let me to the google play store.
After trying so many things to fix it, I ended up just removing the root, and factory reset my phone. Now I have a new problem. It wont even let me call anyone. It tells me "Unfortunately com.android.phone has stopped working". Now I tested it to see if it was the actual phone. I downloaded WhatsApp and tried calling from there. It worked fine, and I could hear the other person and they could hear me. Which lead me to believe that it was a problem with the systems phone.
Is there anyway to get that back? What can I do? Please help, I literally just voided my warranty 24 hours ago and now it's about to bite me in the ass....
There are only 2 ways you are going to get it back

Well Currently installing the stock firmware. Have a bit of time before that's downloaded, But I found this: (Except with my model instead of OP's) http://thedroidguy.com/2015/08/flas...sung-galaxy-s6-to-fix-rebooting-issue-1048633
Is this what you're talking about?
You just need sammobile to get your firmware
