hi everyone! I'm a new samsung tab owner, still getting around the tablet. For now, only one thing is annoying me and I cannot or do not know how to solve this.
The thing is, when I open a video on youtube, it plays just fine. But when I open or switch to another tab in browser, the video auto-pauses. Is there a way to solve this, so I can play youtube vids "in background" while I browse other sites?
Btw, I'm using the stock rom (haven't rooted/flashed etc.) and default browser

I don't really think this is possible, due to the nature of how Android's web browsers work. I assume you're trying to listen to music or something off of Youtube while browsing. I'd honestly just stick with Pandora or even spring for Spotify Premium so you can run it on your phone/tablet.

Have you tried Google Music? It lets you stream your own music from any of your computers to wherever you are over the internet.

Hey buddies! I'm currently on search for an good YouTube player. It should actually work, not like the many on the PlayStore. All I want is to play music (from YT Videos) in the background. I don't really need a pin feature, just background listening. And I'd like to have a notification to forward/pause. Does anybody of you know a good app for my purpose?

Does anyone know any solution for making any equalizer work with soundcloud ? I guess, those you used or use soundcloud, noticed that no equalizer, nor built-in ones , work with soundcloud, so i was wondering if there's anything i can do about it. for soundcloud you can use https://sclouddownloader.com/, but i don't think it's fairly legal, just past the soundcloud url in the field and hit download.

Try this out, for PCs not android but it works really well and downloads the music with all the tags and the album art.
Maybe you can run the linux version in a terminal emulator but I'm not sure.

SoundCloud app for Android doesn't offer music downloads. To download songs from SoundCloud to Android, the only method is use a third-party music downloader like VidPaw.com. Here is how to directly rip songs from SoundCloud on Android with VidPaw.
Step 1 Open SoundCloud app on Android phone.
Step 2 Locate the song or track you want to download, tap Share > Copy Link.
Step 3 Open www.vidpaw.com. Paste the link into the blank. Tap Start.
Step 4 When the SoundCloud music is loaded, tap Download to download SoundCloud music to MP3 on Android.
Use the app called Snaptube. It has option for all social networks.

Let me point out that there is also a newer version with some fixes by a different dev (LFOM) here.
I found the apk in the meantime, but I had some problems with the usage. Currently I'm using vlc which works, but sometimes starts all over with the first file/chapter of my audio book. I'll give the latest version a chance.
