Question about the LineageOS 14.1 ROM by aapav01 galaxy j7

I was wondering, does the lineageos 14.1 rom made by aapav01 for the galaxy j7 have root pre-installed?

Lineage os formerly CyanogenMod always have inbuilt root access. You can enable root access from android developer setting by checking apps/adb or adb only.
Thanks. I was going to dual boot it together with TouchWiz.

LineageOS Setup Process On Mate 10 ALP-AL00 w/ TWRP

Hello guys, I am sorry for making a thread like this. I am overwhelmed with the information out there about this process. And I don’t want to brick my device. So, I figured I would ask Here.
I want to install Lineage OS on my Mate 10 (ALP-AL00).
I’m on EMUI 8.1.0 with build number ALP-AL00 8.1.0.350(C00).
My device is rooted, and I have TWRP installed.
What I need is a step by step process on how to install Lineage OS correctly, or, if I am even able to do so with my current setup.
Can I install Lineage OS with TWRP installed, or do I have to remove TWRP first? If so, how?
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out!

I'm running on my Mate 10 ALP-L09 LineageOS Beta 5 that I downloaded from openkirin web page. As per information on that web page you must be on EMUI 8.0 (not 8.1) and with stock recovery in order to successfully flash LOS or Omni or RR ROM (BTW. I decided for LOS as in this ROM all of the features and functions that are important to me are working: pictures and videos are saving to SD Card, double tap to sleep works, cast to TV works, hotspot with 5GHz band works, central clock in status bar is available, NFC with magisk's NFC4PRA-GSI module installed works - 5 first features doesn't work for me on Omni Oreo nor Omni Pie) So I think if you want to go for LOS then you first need to back to stock recovery and downgrade to EMUI 8.0. You need to find on XDA how to do that. I can't help you with that because I did LOS installation from EMUI 8.0 with stock recovery.

Xposed Support - Lineage OS 16 - Lineage SU Root

Hi! I would like to ask it's there any modified Xposed for Lineage OS 16? I'm using Lineage SU Root not Magisk so I can't install edXposed. I really need Xposed for Jasi Patcher, Lucky Patcher, etc.
Please if anybody has an Xposed for Lineage OS 16 with Lineage SU Root give me the link.
Or maybe you developpers could make an custom/modified Xposed because I won't install Magisk on my Lineage OS 16 just for edXposed.
Please do not mention that patcher in this forum. That's a no-no.

You can try virtual xposed.

Flashing older firmware

Hi everyone, first time posting here so please excuse me if I lack common sense.
I recently flashed lineage OS 17.1 on my s9+ due to there not being a lineage OS for microG rom suitable at the time.
I want to know if its possible to now flash an older lineage OS for microG (15.1) build onto my device as I have a custom bootloader and rom installed.
Otherwise seeing as lineage OS for microG seems to have builds for 17.1 on other devices now, If I were to build my own version using the instructions they give would that mean that 17.1 would work on my s9+?
Cheers!
