What is this?
In MIUI 8, some people don't like the stock icons of the apps (including me). I have modded the apk files with the AOSP icons (Or Custom Rom Icons extracted from Resurrection Remix Rom). The functionality has not even been touched.
Requirements:-
1. Knowledge about flashing etc.
2. A root browser like ES.
3. Knowledge to set file permissions.
4. Backup of the stock apps.
Included Apps:-
1. Calendar
2. Contacts
3. Clock
4. Camera
5. Gallery
6. Message
7. Sound Recorder
8. More coming soon....
Instructions (Manual method):-
1. Download the apps listed below. You can choose only the ones you want, no problem Here for eg I will take Camera
2. Use an app like ES or root browser and go to the respective directory of the app. For camera, go to /system/priv-app/MiuiCamera and delete the apk in there (Recommended).
3. Paste the downloaded camera apk into the directory and give it "rw-r-r" permission.
4. Reboot!!!

DIY - Change Icons For Yourself!!!
Requirements:-
1. Any good Zip Software. I Prefer 7zip.
2. The icons you want to replace with the old ones.
Procedure:-
1. Open the apk with a zip software.
2. See the 3rd post to find the file to be replaced to change their icons.
3. Zipalign the apk (Not compulsory).
4. Simply download the flashable zip from the 1st post and replace all old apks with the one you modded and flash it.
Note I :- Do not change the apps directory and name.
Note II :- Do not miss out any apps in the zip, either replace with the modded one or with the original one that is present in rom.
Files to be replaced!!!

INSTALLATION FROM 0

Root + CWM + Custom ROM (actualiza a la última versión) + Liberación [Todo para NOVATOS, PASO a PASO
1 - to flash ROM WITH ODIN I9100XXKH3 and reboot
2 - to flash WITH ODIN CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_KH3-v4.1-CWM4.tar ( not mark re-partition)
once completed it will leave us alone and reniciara a yellow triangle warning to restart, nothing important but uncomfortable
3- get into zImage rom sd
4- to flash WITH ODIN Kernel_I9100XXKI3.tar ( not mark re-partition)
5-After rebooting, enter the CWM application, give permission superuser and click on "Flash Kernel"
and to flash zImage reboot
!!!! and are custom recovery!!!!!
6-and only we have put the MiuiDano.ZCKJ1_v3 in sd
7-entering recovery mode and applied to flash MIUI:
wipe data
wipe cache
mounts and storage / format sytem
INSTALLATION FROM MIUI
MiuiDano.ZCKJ1_v3 copy to sd
enter recovery
to wipe data / factory reset
to wipe cache partition
in mounts and storage (to format / system)
and install the rom
reboot
note: no need to make the wipes but recommended

which i9100 base are you using? try this and see if you can fix wifi issues.

so it's a stock rom tweaked to work with miui framework & miui apps
but is it possible to add miui extended settings to work with this framework?
What about the xCell kernel, is that working with this rom?
tested it. and overal i really like where this is going.
issues
1. crt animation is flipped upside down.
2. menu in the email app got wrong images (refesh & compose)
3. bit slow to unlock
4. cannot seem to sync notes with google task (maybe old version of miui notes?)

Personally I don't care about which kernel or tweaking. I simply would love to have a stable MIUI/SAMI ROM. Make it Bug Free and I will buy you a beer!!

About the theme:
Original Framework-res.apk and some apks were modified to get:
- Clean interface
- Black Status bar with white icons.
- ICS icons on: Browser, Alarm, Settings, Camera, etc.

HOW TO Install:
1 - Make sure you have CWR, or xRecovery.
2 - Put the ROM on you SD Card.
3 - Restart your phone and enter in xRecovery Menu (presing "BACK" key while booting).
4 - Optional AND recommended: Backup and Restore/Backup
5 - Now, do a Factory Reset (full wipe), Wipe Cache Partition, and Advanced Options/Wipe Dalvik Cache
6 - Install custom zip
7 - Choose custom zip from SDCard
8 - FInd the 2.1.1.C.0.0-R Mini2Minimal v.1.0.zip file and install it.
9 - Reboot phone.
It takes near 5/8 minutes for first time reboot. The boot animation was removed, stay calm!

EDIT/PERSONALIZE ROOM BEFORE INSTALL:
The ROM is a zip file archive. You can double click it and open it with WinRar and 7zip software.
Once inside, you can open text files and edit them, or you can add your own favourites apps to the "app" folder (recommended).
Also, you can insert your own ringtones and sounds on "media/audio" folder.
Replacing the default Keyboard BEFORE installing the ROM:
Open the zip with Winrar, go to "app" folder and delete "SuquashiInputMethod.apk".
Insert in the same folder you favourite keyboard (Swift, Go keyboard, etc).

FAQ and Important things:
There is no market, how can I install apps?
Easy Installer was included in the ROM to make installs from USB. You don't have Android Market (play).
What happened with Maps, GPS; Wifi, Blutooth?
Everything is working perfect. Maps has offline options, and Wifi is the new "n" standard.
I'm having a little problem with Root Explorer settings permisions. I can't see the accept button!
Exactly, the bottons are a little more bigger, and you can't choose them :silly:. You can make a workaround changing the LCD Density from default 120 to 110 or less, but you will broke the BackUp utility included with the ROM.
Can't change the ringtones!
The default music app was removed, so, until you install another music apps, you will only choose preinstalled ringtones.
What's about speed and stability of the ROM?
I'm a person who loves to write a SMS with a fast response phone. The ROM was tweaked for speed, but overclock, JIT, underclock and other things which can make the ROM unstable were NOT included. So, it's as stable (or more than) the stock Sony ROM.
Can I use parts of your ROM to make mine?
Of course! Do whatever you want if you thing you can improve it. You can add JIT, Overclock, Underclock... but, please, remember to put me on the credits of your ROM.

If you never changed your kernel probably you have this one.
If you have Android 1.5 try to update it first, using Sony Ericsson Update Service.

this wont do ant good, i have tried many market version and later realized that this rom cant be synchronized with google accounts which is must for market to work.
You will need to add some apps to the ROM, like: GoogleCheckin.apk, Gmail.apk, GmailProvider.apk...
If you really need to use the market and a light ROM then I recommend you the stock or MiniCM7-2.2.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1068553

If you're an E975 user and want your FM radio working, be careful as this is f180 30b based and therefor no fm radio module inside.

Before Installing this Rom install this modem(BOG5) and Bootloader(BOC3) using Odin[doesn't need again for 1.1 version to install].

Make backup (i.e Samsung Cloud backup)
1) Put the zip file in your SD Card
2) Reboot in Recovery Mode (use Philz Recovery)
3) Wipe Data, Cache (click clean to install new rom)
4) Install the ROM
5) Reboot
6) First Boot Take 12-15 minuet, Be patient.
Fix:
1) After first boot install this Clock fix through recovery.Here

i flashed super su 2.49 and it works quite fine with this rom :good:. i guess you should put this version of super su in your next update so that people doesn't had to worry about root issues.

uninstall youtube updates from the application manager and install it from playstore when prompted... hope this might fix your issue :good:

well i found a bug in this rom... i cannot send files via Bluetooth. every time i send files through Bluetooth and i receive a notification that file transfer is failed... i tried pairing the devices before sending the files and now i can send files via Bluetooth but it takes like 1 minute for the receiver to get a notification to accept that file.

thanks for advise. i installed it, but can Bluetooth be fixed in next update ?
i'm using this touchwiz mod launcher from 2 months i believe, i found it so minimal and adorable. but i cant find the developer who developed this launcher. anyways i'm trying to find that post from where i downloaded it, in mean time do you have any 2nd thoughts for replacing this launcher instead of the one you use in your rom ?:angel:

Installation
*Requirements*
- latest vendor for 7.1.2
- flyme rom zip
- noforce encrypt zip
- magisk / su
These are the steps I did to get google working, though I know they can be optimized
1. Wipe System, Data, Cache, Dalvik and reboot TWRP
2. Flash latest vendor for 7.1.2
3. Flash Flyme system zip and noforce-encrypt zip (posted in downloads) and everything you need (like magisk /su.etc) (DO NOT install Gapps!!)
4. Boot into system
5. Complete the setup process
6. Download the Google installer from the Flyme Store
7. Run and install the Google Apps from the installer
8. Let it reboot, log in to Play Store after reboot.
9. Give Google Play Services and Play Services and any app from Google you may use all the permissions, and set it to "Allow running in background" from app info.
13. If a Google app crashes on launch (photos, maps, etc) simply download it first from the flyme app store, then update it in play store and it works!
10.(optional) To download over data go into Security -> Data -> Settings icon in top right corner -> Regular Data Plan -> Set a limit -> Back to home screen -> Download App -> Settings -> Disable download via wlan only.
11. You should disable Force GPU Render from Developer Options

Substratum works installed from play store but I don't guarantee the overlays will work since the rom has a theme engine of its own (a crappier one). There were some sub mods on the 6.0.1 thread I don't know if they work anymore you can try it out if you want.

Have you tried going into app settings setting it to allow running in background? Not smart running, just allow. I think another app handles the notifications for the messaging and phone, have you tried with Google's phone app or sms?
