I have created a Whatsapp Group to discuss about topics that are related to the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 Smartphone.
All members who own this device are most welcome to join it. If you would like to join, simply pm me your Whatsapp contact number via my XDA account or comment your contact number down below and you will be added ASAP.
Rules of the Whatsapp Group are as follows:
1-All users must speak English.
2-We discuss ONLY about topics that are related to the A5 2017 handset. Software Updates is a topic that is related to our device however it's no longer allowed to be discussed in the group. Please keep that in mind before joining the group.

Yes. It's the international phone number. We discuss about topics that are related to this device. The group is still new but nevertheless depending on each individuals lifestyle we do chat regarding our devices development state and whereabouts.

Hahaha yeah looks it.
No offense, but why don't people use Hangouts over Whatsapp. Whatsapp requires handing out your phone number. Hangouts doesn't. You can just create a G+ group for everyone to join and all you have to do is add that group to your hangouts app. That way no one's personal info gets handed out.

Would probably be better to set up a Discord channel. That way there's no limit on people (that I know of) and no-one needs to give their phone number out to join

Actually, I thought about the same thing but the number of people who use Discord is less. I made WhatsApp and Telegram groups cause the user base is already strong there and won't be much of a hassle for people who want to join.

Ah right. See, I'm not actually sure what the usage of Discord is among XDA members which is why I thought it could be a good idea.
Personally, I'm in a bunch of Discord channels (mainly ones which are synced to Twitch channels) and they have a lot of people using them. Hopefully the number of people using it will increase in time though because it's definitely a great option as a spot to hangout with each other
