since 2 days ago my fone started acting wierd, when i try typing a new messege i press on the keypad but the letters and numbers dont appear on the screen, my fone vibrates as i text but nothing comes up, it takes it 5-10+ minutes till i can finialy type a single text before it does that again. the same thing aplies to making fone calls, i swipe the screen to make the call, or try putting in the numbers thru the keypad, but nothing comes up, it takes a while for the fone to eventualy make that call if ever, the time on my fone stays falling behind by 10-30minutes, i downloaded a safe feature for my fone thats an antivirus, supposedly to be good, my firends use it, every time i run a scan nothing appears,i tun it off and wait a bit to turn it back on, only then does it not mess up for about 3 minutes then it messes up again. my sister told me she had a similar issue, and she was told to take off the battery for a bit of time and then put it back on, i do that but its the same as turning it off and back on, samme effect, can some one tell me what to do please, if anything at all, thanks to any one who replys back with any help. -Alex.

I'm not sure exactly what's the issue, but you could try the above said methods to see whether its a software issue, and if the problem stays the same, maybe its an hardware issue, and you maybe required to contact the Samsung Service Center.
Hello guys how are you? Although I have found similar threads about it, I couldnt find a solution to my problem. I got a Star N8000 with android 4.1.1 1 month and a half ago and I think its a great phone... anyways the point is that when Im connected on wifi everything is perfect, notifications arent delayed at all but when I use data mobile its different =/ when the screen turns off for 5 mins or something like that, notifications are quite delayed... sometimes I have to turn on the screen and wait like 20 secs after I open whatsapp and all messages start to come. I dont know why I cannot connect to 3G service, maybe its because Movistar doesnt have it (Im from venezuela) so I use EDGE and I figured out about something: when I open whatsapp (after inactivity) it starts to try to connect I think because in the signal icon appears two white signs like an arrow or something like that. I dont know if it the software but it doesnt happen on wifi:.. so I dont have any idea about it. Im not root user (tried to be but didnt work) and I dont have any task killer... even I reseted the phone but didnt work either so I dont have any idea how to fix that

Issue with my Mega 6.3....If someone could help me with a solution...
If I open the phone with contacts to call someone, it takes 3-4 seconds everytime and sometimes more.
Everything else works great...I tried to reset the phone to factory settings, flashed same stock rom,..done all things for this..nothing works..

So i bought a Samsung Mega from ebay and seemed everything was ok. However a day or 2 later i noticed i was not able to make a call. I went and did a reset and everything was fine. I have now noticed this is a recurring problem. out of no where the network stops working and i cant make any out going calls or receive any. The bar on the phone still shows a small bar like there is a network. I also noticed that when i make a call with the phone, the screen shuts off automatically. i press the power button to get it back up and when i try to touch anything on the screen it attempts to pull down the drop down menu. It pulls it down like 2 inches and i have to mess with for the actual touch commands for it to work. as soon as i hit the button to call it shuts off. This device is already rooted and i dont know if something done to the phone has made it wonky. I dont really care about the root and if there is way to fix it i would like to hear any suggestions. this is running android version 4.2.2 kernel version 3.4.0-2052936. the Mega model is SGH-I527. After downloading a seemingly innocent .apk my phone gpt blocked by a message, which i only could get away by factory resetting. But after the factory reset, I noticed that my phone made strange things, like it turns off when it wants to, it got very hot and even the camery went on on it's own. So i decided to to the reset again. Now i can't get in at all, since my phone wants meto log in into my google account to restore, which i can't avoid, even though i just resetted everything. Bit when i try to log in, it tells my that my password got changed and that i have to wait for 24 h. And i'm getting this message everyday for a month. But the thing is that my password actually still is the same. When i try to log in with a different e-mail, i get an error message.
Can somebody please help me out ?
