There are other very good ROMs like this on androidfilehost....I am currently running a ROM called darkness redefined which I got from afh......it has the same bugs as that of the other nougat ROMs but the battery life is very impressive

No, I haven't tried it but I recently saw a commentary of a user (l36) who's loving it.
I've posted this one especially because it's MM based (Xposed, performance, battery life, etc.). Bugs should be on the low side.
Tried to install it here, but got stuck at "Preparing to start" screen. At first, I thought it could be the Gapps, but even without flashing it, it won´t leave that screen.
EDIT: This ROM does not support F2FS for data or Cache. I was able to install it, I will start testing the ROM now.

I tested it yesterday....it does not have volte .....no video recording .....the overall experience was also a bit sluggish

Review phase 1)
Performance: The rom is super smooth using the extreme kernel. Truly it is unbelievably fast to open apps and scrolling, even tbough the partition is ext4 and not F2fs.
Sound: Just like the M8 the noise at boot and the distorted notification sounds are gone.
Interface: That's where the things get bad, the rom has not customization, it is the pure MM android, but that's more personal. I like to have a quick bar to select wifi, bluetooth and other stuff. The big issue, is to access them, you have to quick scroll to reveal the whole thing. That's something that is more friendly on M8 and other nougat roms. Another thing tha couls be added is the ambient display, that's not available, for that I have to rely on Acdisplay, which is not as accurate and takes longer to display stuff when I wave in front of the device.
I guess, that's what I was able to test so far. I will take a ride with mt car now to see how bluetooth and gps works.

For now, I guess the ROM is better suited for non-VoLTE phones (like the l36).

Bluetooth: Connection works fine and contacts are being shared with the device. I tested this, because the new nougat roms have a bug and the conta ts are not shared via bluetooth. This totally works.
Gps: Works fine and accurately
Camera: Both photo and video work flawlessly
All left to test is battery backup and multi task while hearing music, that's another bug I faced while using the nougats, the sound keeps stuttering ahile performing otber tasks.

Nope, I even tried to force install it using xposed, but it does not work. Acdisplay is doing the trick so far.

Battery is not holding up very well. By using moderately, It went from 100% to 67% in 1 hour. Also I am getting Random reboots.

Yeah, also, besides the crashing, the keyboard stops responding in the app, so I have to leave the screen I am at, then it starts working again. For some reason the device is heating a lot, even with alucard hotplug enabled. That's why the performance might be getting sluggish sometimes and even causing the reboots. Today it's really hot in my city, around 31 °C, which might be getting things worse [emoji27].

Hey guys,
just wanted to check if others have this issue. I'm on stock JB and there is this weird issue with instagram where I press the record the button, the time indicator starts moving like it's recording, I see the live preview of whats being recorded, but the moment I let go of the button, the slider just goes back to the beginning, like nothing is recorded.
This is only with the rear camera. Front camera works perfectly.
No force close, I uninstalled the app, installed again same thing.
Just curious if others have this issue?

Same issue. Rear camera doesn't work. Front camera works.
But the all important rear camera doesn't record Instagram video on my AT&T LG Optimus G. Damn
i'm having this issue with instagram video everytime i'm using CM10 rom.
While recording the video quality is so bad and when you want to upload, the video will go crazy like there's a pink and greenish color. so messed up. and then you proceed to upload instagram will fc.
I've tried stock rom JB, no issue. Stock rom ICS, no issue.
I've tried Gimlo rom, no issue. Only with CM10.
I like CM10 but this bug is pretty annoying.

Hi there, have you got the issue solved. I'm having the exact same problem for a while with several custom roms. And now I revert back to the stock rom and still no changes. I only have it working on the front camera.
If there's any solution please share.

Hey, nope, I couldn't find solution on the stock rom, now on houstons carbon 4.3, works fine for me. You might wanna try some of the 4.4.2 roms to see if it works better.

I still have the stock rom and the instagram video only works with the front camera so far... you can only take video with the camera app and then upload it on instagrm that's how I do it right now.

This is an AOSP rom, so the camera will not be the same as stock.
rom flashed fine but gapps not so well
so yeah i flashed the rom fine, went to flash gapps (i tried about 3 different pa gapps) and it failed, any ideas? looked on the forums but no dice

Most likely a bad download. Try downloading it again and flashing it.

Love this rom so far and was looking forward to using it daily but I just noticed today that I am unable to receive phone calls. Making a call works and everything else so far works and my phone is very fast and responsive. I rebooted phone and still no luck. Haven't seen anyone have a problem like this so far.

I cannot get my music apps (apollo, and google play music) to work. They both load up, however neither of them will produce sound (from speakers or headphones). My video audio works fine. I am willing to try mostly anything.
Besides that, this ROM is the Bee's Knee's. : D
I'm loving this ROM so far, but I'm having one kind of annoying issue. Whenever I'm watching a video and I rotate the device it causes the video to stop and sort of reload. Kind of like the app reloads whenever the device is rotated. Other than that everything has been working great.

Any ideas on how to get Pandora to work?
Anybody knows where all the settings are kept? Stuff like card view for recent applications, pie menu on immersive mode, etc. They all come with a pop-up for initial selection, but can't find a way to change a seeing one chosen...

I think it's only a cosmetic issue
just installed 4.6 beta 6 on my vs985, but gps is almost completely non-functional. it takes almost 5 minutes to get a locate, and after that will not update. loaded a twrp backup of my rooted 10b build, and gps was working 100%.
funny thing is that the only reason i just went out and got my g3 is because my g2 was having the same issue

Disk encryption
Thanks for the hard work.
This ROM is greate and no problem for daily use.
However, I found one bug. Disk encryption doesn't seem working at the moment. I have also found the issue on Xiaobai's CM13. Went to Settings > Security > Encrypt Phone Just went Android screen for 2 seconds and softreboot.
Not sure if it is a problem with TWRP I used( I tried Jemmini's 3.0.2, cofface's 3.0.2, and Ganfan's 3.0.0, all failed). Or is it something need to wait for Xiaomi to release Kernel Source?

I have found one problem with it: I cannot use USB tethering although wifi tethering is working very good.
The USB Tethering switch in "Tethering & portable hotspot" stays off.

auto brightness
first of all the rr rom is awesome! it's a daily driver for me. but one thing is a big problem: the adaptive/auto brightness work not very good. in the sunlight it is much darker than the "sunlight" function in miui7. do you have any idea to fix this?
Also earphone are not working in YouTube videos, mp3 players etc for some users.

Hello guys.. I have a problem with contacts name on watch, it's not showing.. I We've given permissions from the Googleplay app but in vain.. Also, DoubleTap does not work.. Any ideas to solve the problem? Or is there a bug from them?I wanted to attach a picture that the name of the contacts is not visible, but it just tells me that I do not have the permission to attach pictures on this forum.

It's a nice update, but it still kills me that waking the watch while a notification is displayed doesn't show you that notification Also, the font rendering for notifications while the watch is locked is still all weird and wobbly... Like the watch, but there are some very obvious deficiencies that could be easily fixed.

Yeah,I got a little excited when I read the changelog. But the notifications still fall short of what you get from watch droid.
The watch's UI feels much smoother though and battery life seems to have improved. So yay!

If you install "watch droid" you can reply to messages (and read the whole message as well).

You may have to remove spaces from the phone numbers in your Contacts list. And possibly check if they are international format numbers or not.

I do not recommend though, I've tested it a bit, and in terms of apps you can't really install much, since most of the apps install but the crash right after XD.
Now seriously if this is your main device i don't recommend it, Bluetooth stops working sometimes and it's not stable when connected to sound stuff...No stable music no good
Plus there's some settings issues, nfc works well tho, play services sometimes stop, i don't recommend restoring from cloud or a local backup otherwise It will have serious problems

so, i just tried it for a few hours. way more fluid than stock. no problems so far.
all you need for it to work without FCs is to NOT restore a backup from the cloud
I couldn´t make phh superuser work. the camera is not as good as EMUI (as expected). fingerprint gestures are enabled. swipe to recent. tap to go back. long press to go home.
Excellent performance. Multicore is almost the same as my LG G5

Yes, performance looks good even tough the EMUI is better optimized for our phone, like , a lot more, so I will stay with the EMUI for now until they fix a lot of bugs on this aosp img ^_^

You sure? You can install any app? Cause i couldn't. There must be, if on mine was. And they even said it on the link I gave you, I also updated it cause it was an older version than the one i installed ^_^

Yeah it just skipped the initial setup.
I've tested YouTube, chrome, Facebook, Messenger, ig, WhatsApp, discord, Twitter, XDA app, pubg mobile, etc

It skipped the setup????? Whaaat.??? How? How did you flash the system.img? It's not normal, you should have the google pixel setup experience lol.

Sorry, I misspelled
Off late I had installed it.. AOSP, LOS and RR... all three of them and all of them booted very well.
On LOS I had flashed Gapps and Su as well and all worked well too.
Performance is really very good and I had not faced any FCs. All google apps worked well too...
The only thing I didn't like was the status bar.. Its not really optimized or tuned for the Notch and there is no option to get rid of the notch the way you can in EMUI.
The status bar with looks ugly and takes away the fun to use it phone.
Camera on the other hand is not so good and lacks the features of EMUI... e.g. beauty mode, color filters, editing, bokeh effect, etc.. etc.. and made me dissatisfied.
I am hoping that soon we will have a special tuned version for P20 Lite and holding reflashing till that time.
Hope it helps to the new flashers to make up their mind
