Hey guys!
Ok heres my problem, i'm looking to flash my current o1 back to original F/w but i'm in darn New Zealand. My phone is unbranded and not rooted since fukn update so i need some one to help me get a English language F/w code from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=865479 . I know there is a Vodafone NZ one but unless some one can test the F/w to see if it's branded i'd rather not test it since i am kinda new at this ****.
Please help!

Hi,
All the fw's in the link are original ones.... u can either port the NZ one or Australian version or Indian version or the UK one.... There are versions like 10A, 10B, 10C .... Go for either 10A or 10B because the latter one's can't be rooted.
Also, avoid using swearing words in this community bro, the moderators mite even delete ur account.

Q) OMG!!! Why all of these KDZ links are not working?
A) Few common reasons....
After Flashing and Rooting your device, you might have forgotten to remove these lines from HOSTS file.
127.0.0.1 csmg.lgmobile.com
127.0.0.1 csmgdl.lgmobile.com
All official rom links start with either one of these host names.
OR
When LG releases the next version they forbid the link of previous version. For example if V20D is available then V20C is forbidden to download.
OR
May be LG have removed/blocked the link, Not really!! lolz. Yes you may confirm with users from other countries in thread, just to be sure.

Q) How to find MD5 checksum code of any file?
A) I use this freeware tool, works on any windows version.

Q) How do we extract Boot.img and Recovery.img from device?
A) Find some tutorial here.

Q) Are you MAD? Why you are collecting source codes? Its there on LG Server.
A) No, I am not. LG is very kind and they have made sources available for us for our reference. But think, the links may disappear too on one fine day, the same day when someone may want it to explore.

Thanks for notifying, FIXED!! It seems sometimes xda goofs up on page with too many links. Dunno how url was mixed with xda name prefixed.
Belgium here, i'm on 10A, still no update to 10G, everytime i check i get the 10E which i don't wanna update to.
UNLESS... i have first to update to 10E ? do i have to?
another question, does anyone has the change-log of 10G?
Im betting you have to update to 10E first before updating to 10G, I know a lot of times before a major upgrade is coming some companies push a required minor update before you can update to the next. ***Just so we are clear I am not saying a major update is on the way.***
The 10G updates seem to be missing now, I was going to extract the kdz but they arent available anymore. Anyone who downloaded before please post on a file share so I can disassemble to see what goodies are on the update

I dont see any good reason why you dont want to flash V10E.
Anyways you can flash V10G from Europe/Italy, if you can stay with English as base language. May be you can get Belgium language also in one of them. Why not try and see.

Betting? Dont. Till date no phone manufacturing company have declared any restricted FOTA, which can be done only on any specific previous version.
The KDZ file is a complete system with bootloader, partition layout, kernel, os, etc. KDZ flashes device from scratch, right from the first byte. It does not need any previous version in OS.

No they are working, may it was some temporary issue at your side. Download links for V10G are working and start normally. May be someone who already downloaded will mirror it very soon.

Like mentioned before, the links are working fine from my country, India. But I dont have good enough speed to download whole thing and again upload on any mirror. Damn my UL speed, only (256kbps StoneAge Speed) Maybe someone with faster internet will mirror it.

Lolz, so that was the exact problem. Happened with me also. This is added in FAQ after your reporting. Thanks. Now I dont have to remind everyone about it.
As a web-developer first, when such thing happens, I do pingtest to my failing link which easily finds root cause.
