Bluetooth tethering issue on lineage os 13.0 by highwaystar on mi pad - Xiaomi Mi Pad Questions & Answers

I am not able to use Bluetooth teething feature on Los 13.0 while it works good in Los 14.1... i am able to connect to host device but on mi pad it says no internet connection.... kindly help devs...!!

Cant comment on dev highwaystar's lineage 13.0 post as i don't have enough privilege
Can anyone post about this prob on his lineage 13.0 thread or draw his attention on this problem..... Thanks in advance...!!

Yes is working tested theater via bluetooth to nexus 5

Which build are you currently using??

From the screen shot i guess you are connected to wifi as well, i can connect to my s5 exynos through Bluetooth tethering but ain't able to use data.... Can any one else confirm this??

Using the same LOS13 on my mipad and I can confirm Bluetooth tethering doesn't work. It shows connected but none of the apps can access the internet.

Has anyone found an app to activate BT tethering that works in 7.1.2?

So ever since my pixel XL updated to 7.1.2 I have been having nothing but problems keeping Bluetooth tethering active. I can't say that tethering via BT ever worked well on my pixel out of the box, but there were a variety of apps like BTAutoTethering did a good job of ensuring BT tethering was switched on whenever a specific device was connected. However, all these apps seem to be broken in 7.1.2.
This is really causing an issue for me because the device I need to tether is a medical device. Without these apps to help me using just stock android Bluetooth tethering just turns off after 10 to 60 minutes.

Android Auto Wireless

Hi guys and thanks in advance for any help you may offer to me. Updated the beta pie on my galaxy s9+ tmobile phone today. I was wanting to use the android auto wireless feature on my new Kenwood wireless enabled car stereo. So far it is not connecting wirelessly it files connect when plugged in. Do I need to change settings somewhere in android auto as it is suppose to connect thru wifi. Again thanks for the help. Is there a way to report this bug to the beta program if indeed it is a bug?
Wireless AA does not work in this current build. My neighbor has a pix 2 I can hook to my HU no problem wireless, my s9+ on the official beta will not. It's not you...
Thanks for yhenonfo hope the final build supports wireless android auto. Anyway that we can ask them to include in final build?
Hopefully this is being tested in the One UI Pie Beta and will be added to the final build.

This is a ROM bug. Wifi and Bluetooth interrupts each other on most Pie roms. I recommend using Syberia Pie, it seems to have working WiFi+BT.

Poco F1 not searching for Bluetooth devices until restarted

I have a rather unique problem, I think.
If this has been addressed before, Kindly redirect me to the appropriate post. Thanks
My F1 doesn't scan for Bluetooth devices after some time. I then have to restart my phone and it will scan for bluetooth devices. But a few hours later (maybe less) when i tap the refresh button, it does nothing.
I'm using MIUI Global 11.0.5.1 stable and have rooted it with Magisk. TWRP installed also.
It has no issues connecting to already paired devices and will automatically connect to the Car bluetooth so i know bluetooth is working ok.
Bluetooth name is POCOPHONE incase that makes any difference. I've Tried with POCO and POCO F1 but no changes.
I've had this issue with the last firmware also. MIUI 10 and its carried over to this version.
Magisk module installed as follows
1controller
WiFi Extender
Busybox
Poco F1 Thermal Unlock
Youtube Vanced
Viper4Android FX Legacy
Might any of these affect bluetooth connectivity (Specifically, Prevent phone from searching for bluetooth devices until restart)
Thanks

Stable HP TouchPad ROM With Bluetooth & Wifi

Is CyanogenMod the only ROM for Touchpad that has bluetooth enabled? I've been using Evervolv but it seems that bluetooth still is not functioning there.

From all the available Android ROM from this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/hp-touchpad/general/hp-touchpad-optimize-android-swap-t3901773
WiFi works on all ROMs:
Bluetooth works on:
Kitkat , Lollipop and Nougat.
It all depends what features of Bluetooth is been use. Is an old hardware it has it limitations.
For File transfer it is best to use WiFi, take a look here:

I'm wanting to use it for music streaming and bluetooth connect a speaker to stream from pandora/YouTube music.
Do you have a recommend?
Interesting enough, I'm currently on Evervolv which runs Nougat but bluetooth does not work for me.

What version of Evervolv Nougat?
I am referring to 7.1.2 from this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/hp-touchpad/general/hp-touchpad-optimize-android-swap-t3901773
The Tablet does a very good job at streaming and also playing with the loud speakers it has.
I know the Bluetooth works as I use it for the OBDII on the car.
When it comes to music and do not like Bluetooth for its low quality, I use wire AUX connection.

Looking at my settings it shows:
Android Version -> 5.0.2
Kernel version -> [email protected] #1
Thu Mar 19 05:47:08 PDT 2015
okay super old version
Interesting enough - the bluetooth option now seems to be working, but the wifi shows an exclamation point beside it and is not working atm. It was working a few days ago when I was trying to get bluetooth to work.
I'm going to do some googling but I think there was a way I could update directly from the touchpad.
Here I am almost 24 hours later and still unable to get the wifi to connect. Since I am already on evervolv - what steps would I need to take to update to the most recent version sans wifi?

WiFi works with all ROMs and Bluetooth up to Evervolv 7.1.2
For WiFi to work the router needs to be properly configure and the user must know how to connect to the WiFi network.
By the way, I did try Bluetooth for playing music on a car stereo and works perfectly, hours of playing with no issues. I was very impress!
For the second time, here is a link to all Android ROMs and to flash it to get the most out of it.
