Bricked Xperia Z3v with locked bootloader, can't enter recovery or flash mode - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys. So I have been going through xda and Google for hours and hours trying solutions, to no avail. I almost never post on forums for help because I can usually find the solution. Not this time. This is my last resort next to throwing my phone out a window or praying for death's sweet release.
The facts: I have a rooted Xperia Z3v. I tried to upgrade TWRP in order to follow some directions on upgrading to Nougat. I flashed TWRP from 2.8.X.X to 3.X.X.X. I rebooted and it never made it to the Sony logo. Now, if I plug the phone in to either a wall socket or PC it vibrates, endlessly at three second intervals, each time with red LED. If I try to enter flash mode, then its the same but with a brief green led after the red. I can enter fastboot (the only way to stop it vibrating while plugged in) and my PC sees it, including Flashtool, but since my bootloader is locked permanently, I can't really do much with it.
When plugged into the wall-charger, I noticed that the charger's LED changes from "Active" to "Inactive" with every vibration. I'm pretty sure I'm in a reboot loop. The screen is totally dead and there's no logo, but every three seconds it kills it self and comes back.
I have tried everything I could think of.
What I have:
I have the stock firmware ready to go
I have TWRP backups on SD card and PC
I have Flashtool
I think my drivers are good, but not 100% sure
I can fastboot
I'm at my wit's end and losing hope.
Please, I'm open to any suggestions at all.

[Q] Tried to flash TWRP, now looks bricked :(

Hey guys, Today I just finished downgrading to HBOOT 1.4 and got up and running fine on TWRP 1.1.1 and ViperRom's new ICS build. I wasn't having any issues at all. I started reading about TWRP2 though, and felt like checking it out. So I downloaded GooManager and searched for TWRP and got openrecovery-twrp-2.1.3.blob. I touched it to download and it immediately went into recovery to install. However, as soon as it rebooted, it came up with TWRP 1.1.1's logo and a scrolling status bar. This lasted about 2 seconds and then the phone shut off. I left it as is hoping it would come back for about 10 min but nothing. I removed the battery and put it back in and tried to reboot. Booting to system and booting to recovery give zero response and ADB controls don't seem to recognize the device when plugged into USB. Can anybody help? TWRP2 doesn't seem to have a thread here and their site has limited resources for help.
thanks.
Can you boot into the bootloader (hold power and down on startup)?
no I cannot. Phone is completely unresponsive. I didn't think trying to flash a recovery would cause complete system failure.. wth
Just to be clear, before you call it a brick, did you remover battery for 10 seconds and then try to get to the bootloader. Hold down the volume first then the power button and keep holding both until the bootloader pops up. Just making sure...
yeah I did. Pulled the battery, left it out while I went and ate something, then plugged in the HTC charger and tried to reboot and nothing. Tried putting the battery back in and doing the same thing. I guess It's time to go to sprint and beg for mercy
Same thing happened to me. My phone is completely unresponsive after I tried to update to TWRP 2.1. I was on AOKP milestone 5a. The computer responds when I connect the USB, but the phone will not boot at all.
EDIT: Computer doesn't respond either. Think I'm headed to the nearest Sprint store ASAP.
Connect your device to your computer then go into your adb directory in cmd and type. "adb reboot-bootloader" (without the quotation marks)
Are you s-off ? And does the phone show up as qhusb_dload in device manager ? If it does it is bricked. If you still have s-on it can be fixed if you are s-off i am sorry to say you have to get a new phone. I have a phone now that is s-off and bricked and i cant recover it as of now but i am working on it, if i succeed i will post how to do it.
I would recommend trying to keep the bricked phone in case there is a way to unbrick eventually then you have another phone to play with. I just claimed my insurance and told them i dropped the phone in a porta-john at work and i wasn't about to fish it out. So they told me dont worry about sending the bricked phone in and i got my new one next day.

Dead Ultra!

Hello,
I picked up a white Sony Xperia Z Ultra two days ago. Yesterday it died because of my own stupid fault.
So, I got it second hand. Everything working fine, but, it had CyanogenMod 12. Only I noticed it was quite buggy with phone calls, WhatsApp, etc. So I wanted to flash a stock ROM on it.
Using Flashtool I tried flashing it, no success. So then I decided to put CyanogenMod 10 on it, given I heard it was stable. I thought if calls and whatnot are all stable I don't really care.
I booted into recovery and flashed it, and now it won't start. It's stuck on the Sony logo, the LED is purple but turns to orange.
Also I can't get into recovery. I tried recovering using Flashtool, but I get a loader.sin error.
It does respond with 3 vibrations when I press power + volume up.
On power + volume down my phone gets connected to my PC, but disconnects itself and boots up, or atleast tries to, but, stuck on logo.
Sony Companion doesn't recognize it either.
Right now I am at the end of my rope, given I just got it two days ago, and I enjoyed the phone for like 4 hours...
Please, can somebody help me? I searched the forums for hours.

First of all, let me clear that;
1. The 3 vibrations are related to hard reboot, so forget about it.
2. loader.sin error usually appears when ALL the drivers isn't installed properly.
3. Finally,
your phone connects for a while after pressing volDN+connect USB.
This means Drivers isn't installed on your PC.
Solution:
First of all, install essential drivers to your PC.
Navigate to Your Flashtool folder (where you have installed) and then open DRIVERS folder. Install it for your phone and CHECK boxes (Xperia Z ultra, Fastboot, Flash mode).
Now,
In Flashtool select your downloaded .FTF and flash it.
Hope the above guide helps you and your phone gets a life.

I found out what the problem was.
All the drivers were installed correctly and so on and so on, but, apparently, the USB cable was just messed up... I have another phone here, a Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, and that one can't connect either, only charge for some reason.
Used a laptop with another USB cable and all worked, so now I am finally enjoyed my fixed Z Ultra with Lollipop. Great phone so far~

Help! Xperia Z Ultra without OS and unable to charge it.

I accidently wiped off my system with cache and others with twrp, I was going to flash another ROM with it but i ended up on the SONY screen and now I'm unable to get into recovery itself and the sad part is that phone was on very low charge at that moment and it has drained now, even if it charges a bit it shows up at that SONY logo with no signs of further charging.
I want to charge it so that i can enter flashmode or fastboot mode so that I can atleast flash it with a ROM.
Really disturbed without OS and can't even do anything to it.
Please HELP! or tell about any charging signs or something.
Thanks

why not turn phone off and let it charge then? you can force phone to shutdown by pressing/holding power + vol up button for 30sec
If it does not charge (it happened to me once on my ultra) I understand your concern.
Here is how I over came the issue, i downloaded flashtool and a flashable rom.
Start flashtool, chose to flash device, flashmode, open your rom, in the exclude section, exclude all but the first line, plug in your phone in flash mode, flash line 1, remove your phone, keep flashtool open, stick the phone it on the charger for 10mins (this seems to give it a very small charge, enough for a minute flashing) do the same with each line of the rom.
I will not say this is going to work, but it has worked for me.
At one point (after the 5th line or so) it just starts accepting a charge then you can finish the whole rom.

My phone is bricked, heelp! lg g2 mini D620r

Hey guys, I have some serious problems.
So after reading threads and forums for 3 days now, I still can't make my g2 work again. So the problem is that my phone, out of nowhere just turned itself off, and now is in a bootloop. I had that once before, I did a factory reset with the buttons, and it was working again. Now it happened again, but when I try to do a factory reset, it freezes, and doesn't do anything at all. I tried this several times, nothing. I want to say, I don't know anything about custom roms, ive never tried to do a firmware update on my own, or tried to unlock bootloader, so you know I can't even do any of these. I always left my phone's system in its factory shape. But still this happens to me, and I can't boot into download mode even, my computer recognizes my phone as an USB charge only interface. I read about lots of solutions, and i can't even do them because my phone doesn't load the download mode. I hold volume up, plug in the cable, it tells me to keep holding, and after 30 secs, it goes to something thats gotta be fastboot mode (the last entry is fastbootrocessing commands). I don't know anything about developing or what, so please guys help me

Made a mistake. Is it possible to unbrick my phone?

I used to have the CWM bootloader and the ViperXperia V5.0 mod on this phone. All obtained here in this forum many years ago.
I tried to updated it with 5.1.1_r3 FlexOS - haida-hallon [25-05-15] Official.
If I did my reading homework right, CWM wouldn't work with it so I had to upload a new bootloader. I followed the instructions here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1752270
I rebooted the phone with 'adb reboot-bootloader' and flashed it with boot.img and I saw something new on the phone, an XDA screen I had never seen before. But that was it, now my phone just keeps flashing the "SONY" logo every few minutes. The logo turns up, the screen light becomess more intense for a couple of seconds, the phone vibrates for a fraction of a second and the green Power light lights up. That is very familiar behavior. The phone does that when it is about to start up. But it seems it can't and keeps trying over and over. Obviously, abd and fastboot can't detect the phone. Is there anything I can do?
TIA
