HELP!! I've tried everything on here to revive my phone and nothing is working! - Sony Xperia XA Ultra Questions & Answers

Can someone please help me? I am trying to use Flashtool for hours now doing what others have done and nothing is working. I have a F3213 Single Sim. I went to restore from TWRP backup and it got to the Sony logo and that's all she wrote. I downloaded the FTF file but when I click on the lightening bolt the new window comes up and see the firmware but all the other boxes are empty. When I went to load the drivers mine was not listed I installed the fastboot and flash drivers from the list. I did notice when it went to install it says if failed to load the Google usb driver. I don't know what that is. I am not a noob to rooting but when it comes to Sony this is a nightmare for me. Can someone please help point me in the right direction as to what I need to do do get this flashtool to work. I've been stressing for 2 days now and I am about ready to just throw this phone away and get a new one if there is no way to fix this. After looking all over the net I don't see anyone with my situation. Am I the lone person with this problem. Any help would be so appreciated.
I've looked and I don't see anyone with the issue that I am having.

Nevermind, by trial and error I got my TWRP backup to work without using Flashtool, Emma or the Xperia Companion. There is probably an easier way than what i did but hey it worked and I'm back in business.

Send it to me I will fix it just for 500Rs.

Xperia x10i Has A serious problem - GOT STUCK in the "Sony ericson" screen

Hey GUYS please HELP ME
I have followed the Guide to root the xperia x10 in this forrum. So here is what happened. After completing step 3, it all went fine but then the thread says I have to install the Market fix for X10i users. After done that, my phone restart and it won't let me to go inside. It has a weird picture.
Anyway, can you guys please tell me to unroot or whatever to gain the access to the phone again? I tried the phone repair from PC suit to flash the x10 but it doesn't work anymore.
PLEASE HELP ME ...
we have the same problem mate pls. help us.....
c'mon xDA Developers!!!!!!!!!!! My phone is now relying on you guys
Reflash your phone using the flash unbrick tool and redo rooting steps
Just re-root from step 1 and your fone will be fine.
The PC com cannot work anymore cuz your region does not support FW update higher than 023. If you finish step 2, your fone FW ver is 023 already.
NO it's not that Simple. If I was able to flash back my device then I wouldn't post this thread. Please look at my pictures that were attached. In the CMD window, it says Unable to open channel, Getlasterror= 0"
I think there is no way to get inside the phone ....
Check if i did anything wrong
Ok HERE Is what I did (Refer to the pictures)

Why Can't u stop all the useless posts? If I was able to find them then I wouldn't post this thread here. Im sure that U just say that but in fact u don't know anything mate
Please re-check your device ID and make sure its right in your DeviceID.txt file. If it is wrong then you will get a device not found error. Remember it will change everytime you change USB slots.
Check your Device Id if you have more than one!LOL Fate was faster!
Have you tried it with Omnius?
THE PROBLEM IS NOT FROM ANY OF THAT... AFTER RESTARTING MY PC and UNINSTALL THE PC COM and PC SUITE... IT WORKS !!!
Thanks guys!! Helping me alot...
mine is going back to 023 now...the solution is i rooted my phone on my other computer and the device id is completely different when i first rooted my phone on my other computer.....thanks for the help mates....
recovery
Hi,
just wanted to let you know it turned me onto a path that helped me get my " Stuck on Sony Ericsson" screen: i work with Linux and i had to use PC compnion to restore the phone which worked!!!!!!!! now reinstalling another custom rom.........the Dark Edition HD is the one that (nearly) bricked mine so , no, not that one
thanks again.........
Reflash with Seus? Pc companion
Just a Question to increase my knowledge. Why do people use that old methods to root x10's ? Why not use simple ON CLICK in app called Flashtool ? I've used that method many times and it's fastest, safest possible way to root, flash ROM's etc ? am I missing something ?
This thread should be in the q&a section

For that screen, I'd recommend either using seus to repair your phone first, then if that didn't work, try downloading the flash tool and DoomLord's prerooted recovery image or stock firmware in the. Ftf file type and flashing those via flash tool. That should help somewhat but if you can't get anything after that then take it back to the store. the moment you can get it to boot to the kernel screen, you're fine since you can just wipe and install a new ROM. Best of luck! Tell me how it turns out!! :-D

[Q] help with reboot loop

I sincerely hope this is not in the wrong place, but i do not know where else to put it. I tried to update my x10 running wbcm6 to tw007.2, but apparently in my sleep-deprived haze, downloaded the wrong bb version. when i tried to restart after install, i lost xrecovery, and had no signal and had an unknown bb version. after many attempts to recover, finally resorted to rolling back all the way to stock 2.1 and starting over. was able to succesfully flash at&t 2.1 rom according to flashtool, but now i am stuck in a reboot loop after the boot animation. cannot get seus pc companion to recognize, and neither will flashtool. i am at the end of my wits, this my only phone, and it is currently unuseable...
anyone who has any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. let me know if i can provide any further information...
My turn!
WRONG SECTION AAAAHHHHH!!!!!

Sounds like what happend to me when flashing custom kernels to MIUI ROMs.
Something wrong with the chargemon with the problem I was having.
But for you. Dunno.
You've tried re-flashing firmware but cannot get flashtool to recognize your phone?
Try taking the battery out, then get flashtool set up, plug everything in and hold the back button, and then put the battery back in and continue to hold the back button.
Sometimes, it takes a bit for the 'puter to recognize the phone with flashtool because it's had the USB ID re-assigned. Mine (on windows 7) will re-install the USB driver when I'm having severe issues.

See what I mean?
It is funny to me when people just say "wrong section" but offer no useful advice. Seems just as easy to say nothing and just let us work it out. And who knows? Maybe someone who is dealing with an issue caused by android development (see current section) will think to look in the same place for a solution. It's a big circle!

MODS>>>>>PLEASE MOVE TO Q&A!!!!!!AHHHHHHHHH!
wow. solved before it got moved ? :L
also, i was gonna suggest reboot your darn x64 bit comp, and the take out your ****fy battery, and then plug your usb cable in the hole and hold the back button and reflash with flashtool, but when it says flashing, then insert battery while still holding the back button. its a common issue after one flash for x64. happened to me several times, when the x64 bit comp won't detect, so i had to reboot.
now, MOD PLEASE MOVE
Moved to proper forum.
that is interesting information to know. i will definitely keep that in mind when flashing in the future. appreciate that

Updating gone wrong

After attempting to backup my Sony Xperia S, there was an error. So I tried to install an update instead. This went wrong too. Wtf?
Now, when I want to start up, I see "SONY", all normal, but then I see an exclamation mark with a triangle around it with a smartphone under it... probably bricked? I've had this before, but then I used Sony's update Service software to re-install the whole thing and it was gone. But now, I have 2000+ photo's on it, and I'm not going to re-install it from scratch like I did before... Obviously. When I hook it up to PC Companion, PC Companion detects it, then undetects it. Detects it, undetects it. Etc...
So the question is, is there anyway to get all the media off with it being in this state? The photo's are precious to me as I use it as a digital camera. All the photo's also include all the photo's from my last phone. And the phone before that...
Can anyone please help me out? I will take it apart if necessary!

Trouble with Casual and one click root/bootloader unlock

I've downloaded all of the necessary files and drivers for Adam Outler's Once click root and bootloader unlock method but it never seems to get started. I run the Casual, and click the large "Do It" button, but then nothing happens. I don't get the prompt to continue and the "do it" button simply turns grey. I've let it sit for a while and still nothing.
I've uninstalled/reinstalled drivers as well as re-downloaded the Casual.
I've flashed with Odin back to stock.
I've installed Kies.
I'm running Win 7.
I've noticed others on YouTube have stated they have the same issue but I haven't been able to find a solution. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
could you spare a link for the drivers please? sorry im not any help but im trying to figure this out too....

Wish I could man, but I can't post links yet because I'm still considered a new user.
The best thing to do is delete your current drivers in device manager then plug your phone back in and let windows install them itself. You could also try Samsung Kies.
Here's a link to the Samsung drivers... hope its helps

Have u tried running casual as administrator... not sure if that'll help or not..

Is there any programme that will allow me to rectify this restart/exclamation fault ?
you can't brick an x10. you need to install sony pc companion on your computer and go into software update and hit repair phone. good luck!

Thanks but already tried that method, even with the phone restarting every several seconds, I hit repair and when it manages to succeed it results in ''no update available''

I think the mistake I made was failing to install recovery before I tried to install a new rom.
