ElementalX is designed for maximum stability. It is made for people who depend on their phone every day.
ElementalX has useful and well-tested features that make your phone better.
Features
Fingerprint fast wakeup option
RGB color control
Sweep2sleep
Adjust vibration
FIOPS, BFQ, CFQ, deadline, noop, zen, and SIO i/o schedulers
NTFS r/w and exFAT support
Option to disable fsync
performance and power optimizations
Compatible with systemless root
Currently, this is only partially supported by EX Kernel Manager. I will add support next update of the app.
Installation
1. Flash in recovery
For maximum compatibility with all ROMs, ElementalX uses your existing ramdisk.
Do NOT flash this over other custom kernels!
You should only flash ElementalX over the kernel that came with your ROM!!!

It works for me, but try this at your own risk. I don't know much about Mediatak chips, which is the reason I have this phone.

The AROMA installer is not working so you will have to use EX Kernel Manager or the command line.
echo 3 > /sys/sweep2sleep/sweep2sleep

Backup the boot.img in recovery.
ElementalX makes no other changes to your phone, just replaces the boot.img.

Version 1.03 adds fingerprint fast wake up option, to enable (or wait for the next update of EX Kernel Manager)
echo 1 > /sys/module/sunwavecorp/parameters/fast_wakeup
This will wake up your screen immediately when the fingerprint sensor is touched, including non registered fingers.

I have the elephone s7 rooted . Can i Flash the Kernel? Because I read this Kernel is for 6.0.1 and I have latest 6.0

Yes you can

Ok thank you.. flashed and run

Is it as easy as flash via twrp, after backup of boot.img ?
Sent from my S7 using Tapatalk

It's easy to flash the Kernel via Twrp. I made a full backup, install the Kernel and reboot.

I had since i've flashed the Kernel 2 random reboots. I don't know why... i will Test further and Report here

This is my custom kernel that I've been using personally since the Nexus 9 was released. I have started updating it more frequently, and it has some unique features that other kernels on this device do not have currently.
Some of the features include:
SELinux Permissive (for root on M)
Faux's Intelliplug
Custom Governors:
bioshock, blu_active, lionheart, zzmoove, yank active, intelliactive
Arm64 topography
BFQ Scheduler (my clear favorite, there are others!)
Graphite Build Optimizations
Uber 5.3.1 aarch64 Toolchain
Linux 3.10.98 (always will be the most current linux stable)
CPU Overclock
No forced encryption
Instructions:
Flash zip in recovery
Flash SuperSU for root

From my understanding it's not the kernel that forces encryption, but the fstab included while flashing whatever rom. If I'm wrong I will add whatever is necessary to kernel.

fstab is always in ramdisk (so it's inside boot.img). You need to unpack and patch fstab.flounder and fstab.flounder64 (replace forceencrypt to encryptable). I wrote a quick flasheable zip yesterday to edit those files in TWRP, but maybe I missed something and that weird message of corrupted device appears in early boot. After that I flashed fire-ice kernel and it boots normally. I can share my zip with you if you want.

Thanks I didn't think of it that way since I usually build ROM+kernel together and end up editing fstab in my device files.

Running great here too... What settings do you have? Never seen bioshock or zzmoove... I'm on bioshock now with hotplug enabled and SIO (CFQ is for hard drives). So far everything seems good (performance and battery).
I run BioShock or Lionheart usually, always underclocked...I don't typically hotplug but as far as schedulers bfq.

KCal warning: I would highly advise against putting your screen on a single color all the time because screen burn-in is very much there on this device so take it easy! (example: setting the screen tint to red and leaving it there for an extended period)

Whats the HID Patch?
Can low bit ambient mode be disabled via the kernel? I'm dying for that feature, and disabling it via the build.prop doesn't work anymore.
Very exciting to see some kernel dev for 6.0.1 already!

It allows your device to act as a keyboard so you can send commands to a computer via usb, when I installed kali nethunter on my phone I found out I could do that so I applied the patch to the watch so it can do that too (with the right app/script of course )
Woo hoo! we are getting variety on this watch
delete!!!!
does this need busybox and root? or can I just tethered boot TWRP and flash?
@noahvt I just got this up and running and i the watch already feels snappier!
any settings you recommend changing in kernel audiutor?

Hmmm that's definitely interesting, I'll take a look at it!
Sooo, how do I flash it ?? I'm sorry, haven't been reading on carefully but I can't find root or recovery for the zenwaych 2
I flashed it using a tethered boot of TWRP. I'm not sure if it can be flashed via fastboot
Root is needed if you want to use kernel auditor with it. There is a SuperSU 2.6x wear version. I found it in the lg g watch forums in a zip that includes kernel auditor and busybox all in the same package

Had to reinstall supersu after the kernel flash because i lost root. I was on 2.65 which patches the boot image i believe.
I reflashed supersu 2.65 and all was good.
Installed no problem and didn't lose root. Everything runs fine.
For now is very fast and stable. but i like to use kernel for 2 o 3 days to tase de perfomance. in less than 24h u can test for real.
not heather. test battery with data on. BT, wifi,WIFISHARE WORKING CORRECT.
So far so good, have had a couple of reboots. Overall it's been pretty smooth and fast though. Trying to find the perfect settings for my device.

stock kernel doesn't support init.d script,so if you want to exec init.d you should follow this step:
1. create /system/etc/init.d 755 use twrp
2. flash kernel

What kernel is much better ???
@army9000 I don't think USB fast charge is working.
Also, which app would you suggest to be used to change kernel settings like change the governor's and all.
I tried kernel adiutor , works decently.
Battery life has improved but I haven't seen so much improvement in performance. Scored 29785 with stock kernel and 32255 with your kernel on antutu.
Hello army9000!
Currently I'm using Vitataf's modded stock Rom. IHO, the best Rom ever for X1.
But after I tried this kernel, the Rom lost some features, like native adblock.
Is it possible to use your kernel and keep the original features of the Rom?
And hey! Thanks for your work and time, keeping the development of our beloved device up!

Chill, dude.
As I said before, adblock is a feature of the modified stock ROM, not a different kernel.
And obviously, if I had that knowledge, I wouldn't ask if it is possible.
But thanks any way!

If adblock function is in kernel, that's impossible; If it doesn't,you can try a factory reset.
Flashed today. Feels very smooth and fast.
@army9000 Just want to know if you're gonna discontinue the other one lollipop stock kernel.
IMO R3 still the best in battery & performance. Although, currently I'm still using and testing this kernel too.
Anyway, many thanks to your effort for our beloved moto x.
Cheers.

In my opinion this Kernel runs smoother AND ist better in Power management.
Does anyone else have the Problem that 3G is sometimes mit working, only edge? After reboot it connects to 3G!
Also WLAN sometimes is connected but every App says offline. Same as above: reboot and everything works fine.

An update is coming that will add full support for all Pixel 3 settings
EX Kernel Manager 3.74 is rolling out on the Play Store now...
It adds full spport for the Pixel 3, including vibration control, HBM setting and ability to download and directly flash ElementalX or any other kernel that uses the AnyKernel2 format.
There are two new settings for the wake gestures:
Vibrate on wake: This will vibrate when you use a gesture to wake the device (e.g. sweep2wake or double tap)
Vibrate on sweep2sleep: This will vibrate when you use sweep2sleep to turn off the screen
High brightness mode works a bit differently on this device. Instead of going to max, it just increases the backlight at the current brightness setting. I will add support to my HBM app soon. I may also change this behavior in the kernel, as I prefer it to just go to max on demand.

I can't flash any kernels in the latest version of the app. Previous versions have worked fine with different kernels. I'm on latest Canary Magisk.
Flashing via app worked for me, no problems.

Has anyone actually seen a difference with high brightness mode turned on? I'm not seeing any difference and I'm wondering if that's because it's an LG panel ?

It doesn't jump to the highest brightness, just boosts the backlight a little.

I'm not sure why. When I flashed elemental I was stock and only booted twrp to install magisk, I didn't flash it.

Will this kernel pass SafetyNet with an otherwise stock system (i.e. only unlocked bootloader with unmodified system and no root)?
